Ordered flooring with specific day delivery to take place on Friday 8th January. Specifically selected Friday as I had the day off. Delivery arrived on Thursday 7th January, a day earlier than expected, when I was not at home. My disabled mother was greeted by an abusive courier who left the palette of 11 heavy laminate flooring packs and told her that it’s not his fault that delivery arrived earlier than scheduled. He drove off and left my disabled mother unable to carry the flooring up the two flights of stairs to our house. The pallets were left outside my house until I arrived home after a 12 hour shift as no one was available to take them in. Don’t get me wrong, delivery arriving earlier than scheduled is great if you select a standard delivery but I specifically paid £30.00 for Friday delivery. Customer service did not apologise for their third party courier talking to my mother in a disgusting manner. Just stated that due to COVID there is uncertainty of delivery. I am a NHS Keyworker and understand uncertainty but Again I specifically selected Friday delivery. The terms and conditions state that if anything is damaged, you have 20 mins to inspect the items and inform the courier of the damages. They will not refund anything that is damaged. How on earth can you inspect everything when they use a coyboy delivery firm who won’t even wait 2 mins let alone 20. As a first time buyer I am deeply disappointed with the service.
