Recently Purchased 2 Tickets through StubHub to a Yankees game, the tickets were bought approximately 3 weeks before the game. I kept checking the site to see if I had received the tickets but nothing, fast forward to game day I’m getting ready to leave home for the game at 5pm first pitch 7:05pm I’m checking the site still no tickets available. Because it was so close to Gametime I have already left home on my way to the stadium calling costumer service trying to figure out where is my tickets I’ve purchased over 3 weeks ago. Costumer service representative told me that there was a problem by seller to transfer the tickets and those tickets aren’t available right now. So you mean to tell me nobody could have followed up or sent an update about this development but only knew until I reached out already on the way to the venue to learn about this “discovery”. This is absolutely unacceptable Stubhub worst experience of my life!!! And also the resolution that was offered were alternative seats switch the one offered to me were terrible options not anywhere close to the seats I chosen 3 weeks ago the prices for the game went up because it was a popular game. But that wasn’t my fault I felt like better options could have been offered to accommodate me considering the circumstances. And when I asked to speak to a supervisor the Costumer service representative told me they wouldn’t do anything different he was doing. That this was the Ultimate solution either accept these terrible seating options or you can get your refund in 5-7 business days. Well I took my refund and scrambled looking for new tickets last minute that I ended up paying more for because I was already at the venue….but as far as me being a costumer of STUBHUB again forget about it 🙅🏼‍♂️
