The Appli guide has been an extremely helpful addition to my preparation for medical school. Having applied only a week ago, the guide that was kindly gifted to me by Appli really helped me make strategic choices for which universities I as an individual would be suited to. I think what is so great about the application guide is that it is tailored to everyone individually, which means every result and percentage chance of an interview at each medical school is made for YOU and only you. This means that you’re able to see what makes you different from other applicants in terms of where your strengths lie which inevitably makes the whole decision about which medical school to choose a lot more efficient and a heck of a lot less stressful! The profile is really simple to set up and takes no more than 10 minutes (providing you know your academic scores, UCAT / BMAT etc). Appli does all the hard work for you regarding the guide, all you have to do is fill in your details and it’s done. What was pleasant was how fast the guide was put to together and sent to me, as for the amount of detail in the guide I was very shocked to have received it in a week. As I am preparing for MMI style interviews now, the guide has also aided me greatly with practice style questions and key topics that I should focus on. It’s so useful to have the guide give me a clear direction on how to prepare for these interviews since they are crucial to getting into a medical school and it will allow me to feel calm and prepared for the challenge. Topics such as medicine in the future, ethics, key diseases of today and the current NHS system are all covered in vivid detail (again, extremely helpful). If you are somebody who knows they want to do medicine, but are unsure about where would be best to apply (in terms of being strategic about getting a place) then this guide will 100% be worth purchasing. The way it has been structured will help you reached an informed decision as to why you are suited to each medical school and why other medical schools not so much. It was also really relieving and pleasant to see that my chances at the medical schools I really wanted to attend were fairly good and therefore this is another great reason to purchase the guide - if you need some reassurance that you’re doing everything to put you on the path the guide can certainly give that to you. As someone who has wanted to do medicine my entire life, I understand how difficult the preparation and application stage is. Having doubted many times whether I was capable of getting a place at a medical school, the guide from Appli has helped stabilise me and show me with sufficient evidence that in fact there are a lot of universities that I am a good candidate for. It is nice to know there are companies out there like Appli Education aiming to help ease the stress we all feel during the application stage, even just a little bit. If that doesn’t tell you enough about good this guide and the company is, I don’t know anything that will.
