Kit delivered with care & checked off fully against parts list - only one item missing - Assembly support strut to aid with roof installation, delivery guys said they would get one sent to me but as it was just a length of timber & I already had a length of 2 x 3 that would do the job, I told them not to bother. At the time of writing I am still in the process of erecting with just the roofing shingles left to install. The kit is very simple to put together - of my own preference I assembled without using the internal brackets as I didn’t wish to be able to be see these when sitting inside. I simply used 150mm long x 8mm dia green passive external bolts to attach the roof supports to the main cross beams drilling down & screwing from the outside to be covered with the roofing planks. Where the x 8 mitred support beams attached internally I screwed them directly to the mating beam using 3 x 6mm x 75mm long on each one, again using passive green counter sunk screws filling over the heads with an appropriately coloured external wood filler. I also wanted to fix 114mm square guttering & down pipe so I have installed white pvc facia board to the ends of the crossbeams & rafters to mount the guttering to. To facilitate this I trimmed appx 15mm from the ends of each beam to allow for the same design roof overhang - (this was done before the structure was assembled) To any one wishing to purchase one of these gazebos I can truthfully say you will not be disappointed with the quality and ease of assembly. Instructions are very simple to follow - I chose to adapt these to my own spec but the original design and assembly would l guess suit most people’s need, satisfaction & diy ability.
