Being a (cheap) DIY type, I ordered an Evolution blade, put a rheostat on my old chop saw to reduce the blade speed and went to cutting. Very unsatisfactory. The blade was great but the saw was very underpowered. Ordered the Evolution chop saw. This machine is great. Blade speed is correct, it has plenty of power. Cuts are smooth, straight, and cool. Highly recommend. No longer bothered at all when needing a cut, it's quick, easy, and correct. I'm very pleased with the purchase.
