After unsuccessfully attempting to erect covers and fleece protection for my overwintering brassicas I finally gave up and purchase hoops and clips from gardening-naturally. If only I'd visited their website first - it would have saved a lot of time and effort. Website easy to manoeuvre around and instructions very simple to follow. My only 'gripe' is that the clips require a lot of force to apply - in some ways a good thing as it means they are very tight and will prevent losing fleece or netting in high winds but those with less than strong hands/fingers may struggle to clip them on. However, my brassicas are now adequately protected - eventually!
