Iv just started using eBay again after a few years. I had a luxury watch worth £14k, A bracelet, watch strap, broken laptop and couple small bits I wanted (NEEDED) to sell. A local watch specialist offered to sell the watch for £14k at 20% commission and would hold the watch for 6 months trying to find a buyer. Iv been out of work and needed to raise money fast. So I decided to give EBay a go and hope for the best. I was absolutely overjoyed when I got my first bid for the luxury watch. Only 1 bid, but I sold it for 10k (the starting bid) and the minimum I’d be willing to sell for. I then got bids on 2 other items listed and sold them also. So within 7 days I had sold 3 things and was even more overwhelmed and truly grateful that EBay didn’t charge me any fee’s. I’m just a private seller, but that additional money I managed to retain from selling FREE on eBay really made a huge difference and I can’t thank eBay enough. Eveything was so smooth fast and withdrawing the funds into my account was so quick. Thank you eBay for allowing people to sell for free and providing so far, a 5 star service.
