I needed to revise my Minor Ops skills after a few years break, but lacked confidence and felt quite daunted about returning to surgery. The other complication was trying to find a MOP course in the shadow of Covid..., Imagine my joy upon discovering the ONLINE Medical Skills Minor Surgery Course! Received my comprehensive training pack soon after submitting payment. Inside the training pack were various sutures, tools of the trade and artificial skin pads with various lesions. This is such a fabulous course - easy to access, excellent (and occasionally humorous!) videos providing up-to-date information, pitfalls to avoid and top tips. You watch a demonstration of the skill to be assessed ( ie deep dermal sutures) then upload a photo of your attempt. A few days later the course tutor uploads their comments on your work. I can’t thank the team enough for their inspirational course which has restored my confidence completely. If they go on to offer advanced minor surgery skills courses, I’ll be signing up immediately!
