I need to be honest, I'm not a big fan of Wargame's Core Boxes mostly because you have no real option. This core is enough to understand the very basic concepts of each faction, pretty asymmetrical in dynamics and to understand the scale and speed of the game system. The game item is agile and put a lot of rick management elements on the table, the unit categorization is smart and impactful in warband building, mostly because heaviest units don't start on the board and light units have a huge role controlling objectives. The system is clean, quick and building band is one of our favorite part. Possitive! I´m medium skill painter and I love the Conquest miniatures, specially the Spires (The Abomination is like a Ninja Gaiden monster!), paint these miniatures is easy, full of details and easy to assembly. For the price Conquest corebox is a pretty good trade, amazing sculpts, good diversity and solid mechanics. Maybe this game suffers from the same thing as other wargames, did you want more warbands or diversity? Buy units and other factions. Solid 4/5!!! Recommended for Fast-Paced Wargamers!
