If i could give less than 1 star i would!
I booked my flights to Vietnam through Opodo and it was the worst experience ever. My friend made a mistake when booking and missed a letter out of my name, i called opodo straight away who insisted on charging me £450.00 for my name to be spelt correctly, they said this had come direct from the airline. I spoke with Thai Airways direct who told me this was not the case and they had trouble like this all the time with Opodo. I tried telling Opodo that Thai airways said they could change the booking and all Opodo needed to do was charge me a admin fee of £50.00 This took five days and 16 phone calls, 5 live chats to try and fix, up to the day before i flew with Opodo still insisting on charging me £450.00. I did not speak to a single person at Opodo who actually understood me or spoke English - which was partly why this took so long. At one point i was charged £50.00 that i didn't agree to and the customer service guy actually tried to tell me i had just asked him to charge it!!!! I was continuously lied to and spoken to terribly by the guys there. I finally spoke to the only one helpful guy in 5 days and ended up putting me on a conference call with Thai air ways who had to tell them 6 times to not charge me £450.00 the agent at Thai airways ended up hanging up on Opodo out of frustration. Finally they charged me £80.00 admin fee and a i received my correct ticket. I then received over 35 emails in three days from Opodo with an email that just said 'please check in' every 5 minutes for the first three days of my holiday...i assume i received more than 35 but at that number i blocked them!! Absolutely disgusted with this company and after researching it would appear they try and scam people alot! PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM
