I could tell that things were going well from the second I stood up from the laser surgery. My eyesight (although a little hazy and light sensitive) was already very very good! I had expected a lot of healing to be necessary before I saw the improvements. By the time I did my 24-hour checkup, I was reading the bottom lines on the eye charts! Today, at my 1 month checkup - I've got 2 lines better than 20/20 vision (20/10)! 1 bit of advice... always get someone to drive you home from the surgery. I got the train home from London, and the light sensitivity and tears made it an uncomfortable journey (sitting in a car with your eyes closed would be much better)... but after just a few hours nap, my eyes were generally quite comfortable. After 2 days, they were completely comfortable. and after a month, they're almost fully healed.
