Prior to PetsBest I had AKC pet insurance and they were wonderful. Claims were approved very quickly and without any hassle. I switched to pets best to save a few bucks and unfortunately regret that choice. After a year I had my first claim. My biggest claim they keep asking for “itemized invoices” which I have provided multiple times. I’ve even called a rep who agrees that what I submitted is an itemized invoice and says that she will email the claims department. I just received a 3rd email asking for an itemized invoice. I cannot provide an even more itemized invoice that what we already gave! Everything is broken down in quantity and price. It feels like they’re making the claims process more difficult than it needs to be. This is very stressful waiting on thousands of dollars!
