I was given an appointment at short notice due to a cancellation nearby. This meant I had my charging unit much more quickly than expected.
As an update, although the installation was problem free, I am having great difficulty obtaining the £350 Government Grant to which I am entitled, and it appears that Pod Point has failed to apply for this and are not being in the least bit helpful in resolving this matter.
