OMBUDSMAN IS NEXT STEP FOR ME!!! I switched suppliers at the end of January 2020 (after being with Scottish Power for 42 years) and I have been trying to get the refund I am due ever since. Despite sending endless emails, calls, etc, they have still not paid up. After switching suppliers I left my direct debit active as requested, so that they could pay a refund straight into my account, and instead of refunding me they took out a whole month's direct debit payment! I have written countless times direct to Keith Anderson (CEO) and Customer Services and still no satisfaction. I am banging my head against a brick wall here so I will set up a case with the Ombudsman Service to see if they can 'shake up' this dreadful company to pay up. My advice would be to avoid Scottish Power at all costs - they don't deserve your business!!!!
