“New slip in shoes purchased in Lisbon while on holiday. I wore them in the rain the next day and slipped as the soles had no traction. 3 cracked ribs and about 6 weeks of pain, so far.
I live in Ireland but my formal complaint was handle by an automated email from the UK!
What has the UK got to do with EU citizens?”
“I have always liked Sketchers until my order arrived today. I ordered 2 pair of slip ins hands free. They arrived today, no shipping, but $115 each plus tax. Both pairs have tie laces. I called customer service, and she said you tie them once and they stay tied. The picture also showed no tie bow. Way too pricey for supposed slip ins. Joke!!”
“I bought a pair of slip on Skecher shoes and went for a short trial walk and came home with sore heels, one of them bleeding.
I am very disappointed because there is no chance of exchanging them, as I wanted, because I had actually worn them.
These shoes were obviously not fit for purpose.

“I loved the sketchers slip on canvas bobs,no laces to tie up.so decided to get new ones as my old ones were now falling apart. unfortunately they have changed the design, but i thought I would still get three different colours as they were super comfy before .how very wrong was I. For some reason the size 5 is more of a 6 .the laces are not elasticated just short and knotted ar the end so they are baggy and rub as you walk .I only had them on around the house for 5 minutes .had to take them off .awfull designe and not at all comfy . Havnt got the recipe and left it to long to exchange as I brought them in January ready for spring . Really disappointed and wasted alot of money .why change a perfect design?”
“It was very disappointing to see that Skechers does not have size 5 or 6 for men. Hearing this from store I feel company has not it's survey properly. Adults can also have have shorter feet how will they cater to such customers if their size starts from 7" in men's section.....??”
“Tayla at the Port Charlotte, FL store #00914 went way above and beyond in helping me get two pairs of Arch Fit Slip In shoes. The only store that had one of the pairs was in Orlando, FL so she explained that I could come into her store and make the purchase and she would then have the Orlando store ship it to my house. So I went and saw her and she took excellent care of me. A true caring customer service individual. She is a keeper!”
“The soles separated from the shoe except at the front.
When I want to use it as a shoe, I tie a rope to keep the pieces together.
When I want to use it as a slipper, I tie the sole to my ankle, across my foot, and I gave a slipper!

“The upper part of these work boots peeled and then the souls fell apart from the uppers. I called and all I got was the run around sent pictures and got more run around ,again the worst shoes I've ever bought and this company does not back their shoes .Never again , don't waste your money on Skechers shoes”
“Go to Skechers outlet to buy shoes. Was told spring sale promotion going on and second pair was 50% off only to find out one of the pairs we chose were excluded from the sale. Felt like classic bait and switch scenario.”
“My golf shoe lining wore out in both heals after 14 months. Sent all pictures and sr no and they said too bad. Wore out way too early and the nubs on the bottom wore down too.
Will not buy sketchers again the service was insulting. They gave no reason I could not return in 2 years warranty claim.”
“I purchased a pair of slip ins and after a few months the inner fabric at the heel started to come apart. I shipped them back to Skechers on February29, 2024 via USPS tracking. They delivered the shoes to Skechers at 10:48 March 4, 2024. I heard nothing from them since. Today, April 4,2024 I spoke to customer service and was told that the folks at quality control said that the inside lining of the shoe falling apart was normal wear and tear. Really? They offered me a discount coupon for 35% and told me that's all they will do. Why would I want to pay for another pair of shoes that won't last? I was told by customer service that quality control makes the final decision for Skechers. I am beyond disappointed in Skechers and they have effectively made me a former customer.”

“I've been buying Sketchers for some time, mainly in Ireland. Recently, I purchased a pair of slip-ins, (aptly named) on vacation, in Lisbon (€100).
I slipped and fell heavily a few days later due to the total lack of grip in the rain on the typical white Portuguese street footpath tiles. The shoe sole pattern is totally different from previous purchases.
As an EU citizen, purchasing in the EU, I was amazed to discover that Sketchers support is UK based.
