This is my second blanket from Tartan Blanket Co. (the first non-panic one has had a permanent spot on our couch for over a year now). It did feel a bit indulgent to spend as much as we did on a picnic blanket, but we'll be doing a of those this year, it seems. The blanket arrived just in time for our inaugural pinic at Greenwich Park, so I can vouch for the water-proofing and warmth. I also love how the embroidery turned out (definitely worth it), and I feel this is one of those things we'll end up keeping until we're old. P.S. The cat loves the box--he's been glued to it for the past 3 days. I haven't had the heart to recycle it yet.
