I bought Grandpad for my parents, who are in their mid 80's. They love it. They went from treating the package that was delivered (very quickly) like an un-exploded bomb to diving into video, music and games in a day. The design of the Grandpad is extremely well thought out. It is simple and intuitive. The ability for me to manage the device for them makes this product exceptional. I also appreciate that Grandpad are not using the system as a platform to deliver advertising. You pay for the system, you get good service and you don't get used as a pawn in some marketing scheme. I applaud they have stuck with that. I would add a few more features, like the ability to edit and delete comments on photos once posted. Occasionally the app doesn't pickup notifications. However, these are minor improvements that I'm sure will be made. If you are thinking of getting this for your parents, don't ask them just get it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
