I stayed in the Travelodge in Graffton pl London recently for 5 nights and although the reception staff were excellent and more than helpful and friendly the hygiene in my room was way below acceptable. On my 2nd day I had to complain that the heating and the TV weren’t working and it was day 3 before I received fresh towels and even then the cleaner, and I’ll use that term loosely just left them on top of my unmade bed and didn’t even take the wet ones away and she left me one clean mug and again didn’t take the dirty ones away. The whole time I was there no one cleaned the bathroom and the shower, sink and toilet were not cleaned once that week. This is the first time in all my years of traveling that I have ever written a bad review of a hotel but I feel it needs to be noted as the domestic staff at this hotel should be replaced with people who care and know what they are doing. As I said earlier, the reception people were 1st class and it’s a shame that the people behind the scenes are the opposite.
