We purchased appliances from Home Depot and paid for the installation of a washer and dryer. Prior to the scheduled installation, we were instructed to disconnect everything, which we did. However, when the installers arrived, they stated they were not allowed to handle certain components and couldn’t complete the installation due to restrictions. As a result, they simply left the appliances in the middle of the lobby and left. Despite having paid for the installation service, the appliances were not set up or made operational. We ended up paying an additional $200 to hire a plumber to complete the job. Home Depot’s installation service has very strict limitations, and the overall customer service experience was extremely disappointing. We do not recommend purchasing appliances or installation services from them.
