I was really unhappy with the way my body looked, but I was even more unhappy with how and why I gained the weight. Mindless and emotional eating had packed on 20 lbs in six months. I am aware of how much I'm moving and how much energy I'm generating and expending. I realize how holistic self-care is key to maintaining my weight. I started meditating and journaling regularly, which means I'm more aware of my emotions and choices. No more mindless and emotional eating. What's different about this program is that MyBodyTutor is actual coaching with an actual human, who tailors their feedback to you. It's not a bot or a course or just an app. My advice is to think of this as an investment in yourself. It's not a quick fix. You can crash diet or log your way to weight loss, but that probably won't be as sustainable and life-changing as going slow, digging deep, and focusing on your overall health and well-being.
