I recently purchased car insurance through this company after finding them as the cheapest option on a comparison site. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. After paying for the initial cover, I was shown a breakdown comparing the standard legal cover and courtesy car cover with the extra cover offered for an additional cost. To my surprise, the included cover that I assumed was accurate based on the initial quote turned out to be incomplete and misleading. This information was only made clear after I had already paid. I decided to add on the extra benefits to ensure adequate cover, but the process was frustrating. There was no confirmation screen to review my updated policy before payment; the payment went through automatically. As a result, my policy became significantly more expensive, and I felt tricked by a company and website that lacked transparency and honesty. I cancelled my policy the next day, as I couldn't trust a company with such misleading practices. If they can't provide clear information upfront, how could I trust them to handle a claim fairly? It’s concerning to think what the experience might have been like if I had stayed with them. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Transparency and trust are essential in choosing an insurer, and this company fell short on both fronts.
