Ordered a replacement battery. They took the money and when I called them a day later they said "cancel the order, we currently do not have coverage in your area." But you accepted the order! And you got the money! What if I hadn't called them myself? How long would it take them to figure out that they couldn't do what they promised?

I purchased a Diehard battery for $323.99, with delivery and installation it came out to $376.04. The tech came out and instead of installing the battery I paid for, installed an FVP battery that I found on the FVP website for $150. A little less than a full year later, I wasn't able to start my car and when taking it to get tested found out the battery was dead. I contacted 1-800-battery and was told I needed to pay $50 for them to send someone out and an additional $100 deposit. If the battery is found faulty then I get $50 of my deposit back, so at a minimum I'd have to pay another $100 for the $376 battery that didn't even last a year, about $500 for a $150 battery! Very mediocre product and even worse service. Avoid at all cost!

I was very disappointed in the service of this company. We paid a premium to have this service at our home during a very hectic time for our family and the price did not reflect the service we received. First they did not arrive during time window I requested. I called and they said it would be an additional 40 min. Then it was another 90 min. Finally the installer showed up in a car with a window missing and his car was smoking. Then he pops my hood and asks me where the battery is. What??? You’re supposed to know that. Then he must have a DUI because he walks out to his car to blow on a tube to keep his car running all while he pulls up YouTube learn how to put in my battery. It doesn’t take him long so when I turn on my car I can smell the alcohol on him. Not my idea of a premium service. I will not use 1-800 batteries again and I will tell my friends.

It was a terrible experience. I called at 6:30am on Sunday morning and was given an appointment that someone would deliver and install a car battery between 9-11am that morning. No one ever showed up. I tried calling and I also used the text option. No one responded. I was concerned because they already placed a hold on my account for almost $300. I called again and waited for 4 hours in their queue. I finally gave up and called the next morning and a supervisor explained that they closed at 10am on Sunday. They didn't even turn off their phone queue so that whole time was a complete waste. They came the next morning and did the job but it was a very bad experience and I'm getting AAA so I won't ever be stuck having to call this company ever again

The battery failed after 6 months you r denying the warranty saying I don’t use the car enough. How do you know how much I use the car.??? This is a fraud. Your employee stated that the battery was not proper for a Porsche

I placed an order and was given a window on the same day from 1p-3p. Checked in at 3p and told it would be by 430p. Checked in again at 445p and was told there was no response from the tech. I cancelled it and received the updated order as cancelled, but my credit card was still charged. Customer service has been absolutely horrible. And please let it be noted, that I live in a large city and still couldn't get service. 10/10 don't recommend.

Paid for new battery to be delivered and installed.Taking out the old battery the negative clamp was damaged when prying it off the post. New battery installed with damaged clamp. When Technician left car would not start. Called company and was told it was not their responsability. So i was still stuck with car not starting after a 325 dollar charge...So if you need a battery have it installed by a real professional at a certified station if you can. It will save you time, money & aggravation!..

Terrible service!! Rate is ZERO!!! First, the installer came on a later date than promised, came not announced, I was not home and when I called back, they had already left. The worst is that they charged me for a battery that was not delivered or installed. I will never use this service again.

I made an appointment the night my battery went dead. It was from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. the next morning. No one showed up until much later and because of this, I had to cancel a doctor's appointment. I called customer service to find out when my battery was being delivered. I sensed they had not put my order out to be installed. I received a message they would be here within 15 minutes. Still no show. I texted that if someone was not here by 3:00 pm I would cancel my order and payment. About 15 minutes later I received a phone call from the person who was to replace my battery. It took him 25-30 minutes and my car was running again. I would not recommend using this company to anyone, plus it was very expensive. My BAD!

This is the 3rd time in two years I have replaced the battery. 1.800 battery guarantee were supposed to work but it´s not. I have called more than 10 times and sent more than 5 emails and no one was able to help me. Great words no action.

I would have been very unhappy if I'd been waiting by the side of the road instead of at my home because they claimed I'd get service in an hour and it took more like two hours. Then the guy showed up without the battery I ordered and paid for, and he spoke very little English so it was difficult to communicate with him about the battery he offered me instead. For all I know, they sold me an expensive battery and delivered a cheap one. Seems likely. FYI: I chose one star, but that function doesn't seem to be working!

Called for service at 10:40am and no one showed up until after 7pm. I will actively campaign against anyone using your service.

I requested a dead battery to be replaced back on Sept.8 at like 8am CST. Later that day around 1pm I called to advise I have a push start car because I wasn’t sure if that would cost me more than what I paid which was $275.58 for a 2014 Nissan Altima battery replacement. I spoke to one of there customer service representatives who stated they were having issues with even getting in contact with the technician and will reach out tomorrow which would be Sept.9(Saturday) with an update. The next day no contact so I decided to call on my own and a different representative advised me they still haven’t been able to reach the technician and he sometimes “flake out” on them. Please keep in mind this company knowing this has already charged my card. I waited all that day which was Saturday and still my order hadn’t moved. I was told if I cancel then I would receive my full refund back to my debit card within 5-10 business days. I cancelled on Sunday so the first business day would be that Monday which was Sept.11. As of today Sept.26 I still haven’t received my refund which is ridiculous when this company (1800 battery) knew they had a janky technician that don’t even show up to work! My money should’ve been back on my card that same week! Now I have to dispute the charge with my bank since they just can’t get it right. So, I would recommend anyone who uses 1800 battery call them to make sure they have a working technician or technicians in your area because they’re not what they advertise which is having technicians available in your area!

This was my first time using 1800BATTERY because typically I'm a DIY but my battery seemed to be a problem, so I contacted them. Unfortunately, the service technician (Adam Balenovic) was horrible...maybe having a bad day. Upon arrival he never diagnosed the problem as advertised to confirm it was a dead battery. I had to take a meeting, so I wasn't looking over his shoulder, but he simply replaced the battery. When finished I had a few questions such as, "did you confirm the battery was dead". He begrudgingly responded, "no" and left. I get we all have a bad day at times, but really?

Purchased battery and installation for 2013 Ford Escape. Installer spent 2 hours trying to remove old battery by dismantling and removing the air filter assembly to get at it. In doing so, got one of his tools stuck on the old battery. Then tried to get at it by removing the drip pan that hangs over the battery but couldn’t get the wipers off to do that. After 2 hours, I told him to put everything back together and forget it. Car is still in my driveway with a dead battery and I’ll have to have it towed to dealership tomorrow so they can do what he couldn’t. PS: In putting parts back together he’s missing 2 screws and a nut. He has to return at 5:00 with his supervisor to retrieve the stuck tool and replace the missing hardware. !!!!! Will not ever use this service again!!!!

Back in August my car's battery died and I called 1-800-Battery. A young man came to my condo and changed the battery out. Everything worked fine the next day but the day after the car was totally dead. I had it towed to my Lexus dealer and was told by them that the battery would not hold a charge. I called your company and was told that a tech person would go out and check the battery. But they would charge me $105 if the battery was ok, but if the battery needed to be replaced there would be no charge. The next day I was called by the Lexus dealer and was told the that the tech person from your company had replaced the battery and the car was ready to be picked up. Today I got my credit card statement and the charge $105.44 was on there. I want the charged reversed since I was told it wouldn't be on there in the first place. Thank you, Mark Wilson
