“Very positive (unexpectedly so) experience buying tyres online
Ordered a pair of tyres to be fitted at a local garage. I was genuinely nervous when making this order as Blackcircles appears well regarded on uk.trustpilot but absolutely loathed on Reviews.io.
My experience was 100% totally positive. Tyres ordered and delivered to fitter 2 days later. Everything went really smoothly and it couldn't have gone any better. When things go wrong sellers should be held to account, but equally when things go great a compliment is due.
My Tomket tyres are coded "3623" for date of manufacture. It is very reassuring for customers when Blackcircles dispatches tyres that are well in date.
I'd like to think that Blackcircles had some customer issues but it has now embraced a new culture. If so, good on them and I look forward to future purchases!”
“Orders tyres 4 days in advance booked garage for fitting.Had e-mails reminded me of appointment for fitting etc-Get to garage on time and my tyres haven’t been delivered.Phoned them had an apology but tyres won’t be delivered for another 3 days (no good to me as I’m going away)-Garage did say I should have gone through them and saved £30. Told Black circles this as I want a price match -Answer no but may get £20 inconvenience as compensation-So cancelled the order-Booked with National now as with discount they are offering now it’s £40 cheaper-So waiting for my refund from Black Circles now-won’t use them again”
“Tyres was delivered fast but manufacturing date on them is 8th week of 2022 so tyres almost 2 years old. Everywhere where bought before , tyres was not older than 6 months .”
“I visited Elite Garage Manning's Heath for advice on the four tyres that I was considering buying from Black circles as they are one of their recommended premier fitters. I was amazed to be told that the tyres I was thinking of buying were " c..." and that I shouldn't have any dealings with Black circles as they don't want to know if anything goes wrong. This has made me reconsider my purchase and I definitely won't be dealing with Elite Garage again and neither will I order from Black circles after what I was told.”
“I normally check reviews, but I needed winter tyres before a Germany trip and they were the only ones available early enough.
Omg they are useless.
My tyre fitting was booked at 8.30 am. They had only delivered 3 tyres.
It took an entire day for team INCOMPETENT to finally send me a delivery confirmation for 4 tyres.
It took me 1 second to see the problem that they were too dumb to see for an entire day.
What they did was send 3 tyres which arrived on time and then 1 separate one which arrived at 10.44 AFTER my tyre fitting.
Nobody looked at that and thought - oh no wonder the technician has only got 3 tyres
Thanks to me organizing it and finding said tyre by myself the independant fitters finally came at 4pm. The poor technician tells me he was looking for the tyre from 7am - thought he was going mad. Poor guy.
I lost an entire day because Blackcircles customer service. were all too retarded to see the 4th tyre got delivered late.
I had to even give them the telephone number of the independant technician because they were too lazy to find out themselves.
Onky emailed them despite me telling them this could not wait.
I lost track of how many calls I had to make as well as numerous trips to garages to find the tyres.
Eventually I found someone helpful on their "helpline".

“Hi, I am a customer living in Egypt. I went through the site to buy 5 tyres , 5 days now i am running after them for the hope that someone can answer my request, nobody answers.
Their customer Service, are care less , they don't care about you. This is not a serious company.
I wonder what kind of company is this one, there is no even phone number to call ,
Be aware of this company , it is not serious at all.

“I wouldn’t recommend using black circle tyres I ordered some tyres on the 13th of October 2023 30 days have passed, and still no sign of tyres so I rang them to find out what’s going on only to find out their their courier dx experts signed for my order while I was in London absolutely shocking I will be definitely using another provider your customer service is absolutely lame You can’t be bothered to deal with customers queries ie tyres have been stolen by your courier Or been signed for somewhere else by their driver absolutely shocking hundred percent avoid guys”

I ordered 2 tyres for my son's car to take his driving test in, initially from ordering was all ok, picked the local garage for fitting and had my appointment booked.
Then the lies and frustration started I was emailed to say no appointment was available and offered one 5 days later !!
I called to say this wasn't convenient as needed the car done. Was called back numerous times with appointments for garages miles away, they had no concept of how was I suppose to go to these garages miles away and apparently have to leave the car for a full morning or afternoon as timed appointments aren't offered !!! So I'm expected to leave the car at a garage and somehow lose myself for a full morning or afternoon to simply fit 2 tyres ? What a totally ridiculous service.
When I highlighted this and said ok so you can't help so I'd like a refund they agreed. Simple you might think however, this company does not refund you !! I've had to take this up with PayPal and my bank as not only do they not refund customers they also make the payment a recurrent transaction!!! This means they can recharge my card whenever they wish....what does this say about them? To me this says they hold you money for as long as possible until thankfully PayPal can step in, which as they have guidelines still means I have to wait for my money to be returned for a further 21 days since purchase !!! So I'm left to buy again with a reputable company and wait till I eventually receive a refund with PayPal's help. They promote competitions where equally I've read they tell people they've won then charge their cards for following the "winners" link. This company is absolutely despicable DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, DON'T DELIVERY THE SERVICE, THEN DON'T REFUND YOU.”
“Shocking service
First time I’ve used blackcircles and certainly the last. Ordered 2 tyres and picked delivery date, this was cancelled. Picked an alternate date also cancelled. Contacted garage that was fitting the tyres and they assured me that there was no problem with the day/time I’d picked. Phoned blackcircles and explained that I had booked my car in for tyres and to send them to the garage. Received an email from bc stating fitting was going ahead but at a completely different garage. Phoned back told them to change it. Received email can’t fit tyres, blood was beginning to boil slightly at this point. Eventually got them to agree to send the tyres to the garage I’d chosen and to get them fitted on the day the garage and I had arranged. Went to get tyres fitted and only one tyre had been sent (ordered 2!). On the phone again only to be told 2 tyres had been sent, told them only one had been sent. Was told they’d have to contact courier to see what happened and would be back in contact within the hour. 5 hours later still nothing so phoned back, to be informed that they’d have to investigate this 🤬🤬🤬 at this point (I hope understandably), my patience finally went, demanded they send another tyre out and investigate in their own time. Checked with garage 2 days later and both tyres were there and arranged another fitting date. That was today, 2 weeks after ordering tyres! Went in and was told bc hadn’t sent a confirmation email to the garage for tyres to be fitted. Phoned them and on speaker they told me they couldn’t contact garage to arrange a fitting date. I explained I was in the garage and they couldn’t proceed without email, strangely enough at that point a confirmation email came through. Left car and took dog a walk only to be phoned by the garage saying they’d only confirmed one tyre to be fitted. Phoned back and told them so send another email for the second tyre and was assured this had been done. Ten mins later garage on the phone again saying still no email resulting in yet another phone call to get it sorted. So will I be using blackcircles again? No! Should you???? I’d think twice!”
“Absolutely awful customer service, nothing has been offered apart from apologies. Ordered and paid for four car tyres and only two have been fitted. Definitely not recommended. I am taking my formal complaint to the statutory body, please feel free to contact me if you wish to join.”
“Always use black circle tyres. Thought there was really good, but never had a problem with tyres before. But this time I had a problem with the Tyres . Made a claim nobody got back to me. If you want to buy Tyres and you got any problems, do not go to black circle. Pay the extra and go to quick fits. At least when you have a problem, you can go straight to the source. Lost me as a customer.

“The worst company I have ever come across! Absolute waste of time. Three tyre change appointments have been cancelled. They over book garages, not with appointments they think the garage can accept, but just take your money, then try to book you in for your chosen date.
We have had every appointment cancelled the day before fitting.
Horrendous abuse of the customer. How dare you sit on people's money like this, leaving people with nothing for it.
I spoke to someone on the phone at blackcircles and was assured this next appointment would be fulfilled. I expressed my concern about driving with tyres which desperately need changing, they are putting us in danger now.
I do not care what your lousy excuse is this time, I want my money back!

“Ordered 2x front tyres for my car. Went to the garage to have them fitted on 28th July - in the process of fitting, the garage badly damaged my left front alloy in two separate places (even though this was a BC approved fitter).
Complained to Black Circles the same day with before/after pictures showing the extent of the damage - 12 days later, literally zero progress has been made.
Absolutely awful customer service - constantly being palmed off to one person or another, no resolution, no accountability. Minimal response to my emails, nobody really seems to care that I've spent £600 on tyres and had my pride and joy damaged in the process.
I've asked on numerous occasions to please be given an update on my case - all I've received is generic emails stating they're 'looking into it'. 'Beyond a joke' doesn't even begin to describe my circumstances.
Awful service from a loyal buyer - won't be shopping here again.”
“Ordered my tyres online was booked into a garage when I arrived at garage they broke a couple of nuts said I would need to go buy new ones when I went and bought some they said didn't have time to do them so I rang black circle and they said they would get a t s on Saturday to fit them sat all day and nobody turned up no phone call or anything stay well clear”
“Ordered tyres on 21/06 with fitting booked on 23/06. Garage called to say they don't have the tyres, Black Circles says the garage can't take the booking as they're busy. AVOID THESE TIMEWASTERS. I paid for a service which was not delivered. Emailed customer service, spoke to them over the phone too, nobody has a clue of the status, no updates provided. Meanwhile, I can not drive my car, huge inconvenience.”
