“They indicated that the glasses were available and ready to ship when in fact they didn't have it in stock. After 1 month, they shipped it while I was away on vacation and when I tried them on they did not look good. Needless to say when I tried to return them they said it was too late. Their customer service in a joke.”

“Fantastic service from start to finish. Website clearly shows expected dispatch time so you can select a pair that’s in stock if you require a pair of glasses quickly. Excellent communication, prices and service. 3rd time repeat customer and will be back again for sure. Thank you”

“Spent over £462, took ages to arrive, had paid for light sensitive lens but they failed to do this. Ignored my messages, eventually offered me £10 less than I had paid for the light sensitive and told me to pay my own postage to return. I said I was going to stop payment on the credit card and I wanted to return them. They sent a label to return at that point, 2.5 weeks later still no refund. Avoid them as the service is shoddy.”

“I was concerned about my order at FE after I saw a number of reviews that said "scam", however I had a great experience getting progressive eyeglasses from them. Note that it took about a month, but honestly, that's not much longer than it takes to get glasses locally right now, and I live in a city. They responded to my requests for info, and most importantly, these lenses seem much better than any I've gotten locally for the same money. Ultimately, I saved hundreds, and for glasses that are the same ore better than glasses I'd have gotten locally, and it was great not having to go into one (of many) insurance company money laundering optical boutiques around here.”

“Totally reliable and trustable, on time, very satisfied although I live in Canada, I received my pair in 7 days with almost half of price in Canada. Just when you want place your order make sure they are in stock. That`s it Thank you Fashion Eyewear”

“Typed Tiffany&Company on google. Ordered sunglasses and I get a confirmation from Fashion Eyewear.co.uk?? Never received the sunglasses. Been waiting for 3 weeks now. Total fraud. Avoid this company.”

“To call their customer service incompetent would be an understatement. Absolutely no regard for their customers, no communication internally, make promises they do not keep regarding refunds. Their "customer service " team have no problem disengaging with you whatsoever. Folks, better off buying from a reputable retailer with honesty, professionalism and integrity, unfortunately this retailer nor their staff possess any of these qualities. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.”

“EU customers pay custom charges when glasses reach their destination - they make no mention of this at checkout unlike other online retailers nor is it calculated at the point of sale. Very underhanded practice - will not buy from them again!”

“This company is TOP NOTCH. My glasses took about 2 1/2 weeks to get to NH. Super fast responses via contact email. I’m in love with my prescription Gucci glasses AND sunglasses. The sizing chart was helpful. The inputting of my prescription was easy. Just overall. User friendly and friendly service. Will be buying again!”

“Total disgrace palmed off as it seems that's all they ever do. Says up to 14days I am now on to 3 weeks, seems like others have waited longer. I'm dreading the arrival to when ever this may be, and the possibilities of having to return. Wish I read all the reviews and trusted my gut. I thought ordering online would have been a faster process, I was so wrong!!!”

“Ordered and paid for prescription glasses which didn’t turn up for over 20 weeks so cancelled my order. Yet to receive my refund. I would like all other reviews advise people to avoid ordering from this company, just constant excuses. 1 star is generous.”

“Expensive glasses arrived damaged (no wrapping around them to protect like a normal company would do) It took SEVEN WEEKS for them to arrive. Now chasing a refund after sending them back all the way from Australia, FOUR weeks after they reviewed return. And who tries to refund through PayPal when that wasn't how I paid? Avoid! Pay extra for actual customer service.”

“Considering I ordered the glasses a month and a half ago that haven't turned up, and been issued a refund that also hasn't turned up, I think I'm being generous with one star. Avoid!!!! Wish I'd read the reviews first!”

“Awful service from start to finish. If I could give less than one star, I would. The glasses arrived 3 weeks after they took my money and the frames are wonky. This would have been picked up when I had my prescription put into the frames so no doubt it was a case of someone pretending they hadn’t seen and hoping I wouldn’t say anything. I spoke to Warwick on the phone who seemed nice however hasn’t helped me moving forwards. He said he’d “personally” look after my issue however I then received a reply from Aisha so he’s not looking after me at all. I was promised a phone call from Warwick on Friday to update me on what the next steps would be. That never happened. Warwick even said he would look into the previous poor customer service I’d had as it was not the way the business operated and then he operated in the same way. I sent a long email stressed and upset at the customer service I have received from this business and the reply was simply “here’s a returns label”. There is clearly no care for the customers. You have had my money for 4 weeks now and I have no glasses. Sending me frames unfit for purpose is completely disgraceful customer service and no doubt I’ll now be waiting even longer before I can see properly. I mentioned in my emails that I cannot drive without them so I’m stuck at home until they arrive. Starting to feel like I’m being scammed to be honest. They’ve got £130 of my money and I have no product. Awful awful awful. Avoid like the plague.”

“Originally my order was months late and delivered to the wrong address. Apparently it was sent to the US from the UK on a row boat. But then, after wearing the glasses for a few months and wondering why I couldn't see as well, I went for a new eye exam.. and was informed that the left side prescription was totally wrong, not even close! I have only received useless messages from various PR people, always a new one each time, and they seem not to keep records of previous communications. I do regret ever ordering from them.”
