I really wish people would stop complaining about primark not refunding or exchanging things even when they have tags attached. Everything in the shop have the tags attached. People could have just picked it up from the shelve. It really isn't hard to keep a receipt. So please stop making excuses and blaming the shop. It's your problem not theirs.

my experience isnt with primark its the stupid people that dont want to respect the returns procedure if you dont have a proof of purchase how are the staff to know that it hasnt been picked up in store (i.e. stolen) and trying to return for exchange get a new reciept then get money back (fraud) give rhe staff a break.

Today my daughter and i went into primark at Rushden Lakes , She had dress to return and had the receipt. It was dated end of sept so was slightly out of the 28 day's . In these strange time where nothing can be tried on and shops closing and re-opening , people having to isolate , couldn't believe when the woman just said no refund out of 28 days , she had receipt and still had tags on . My daughter had to self isolate shortly after she bought the dress due to severe chest infection and waiting on a corona test results. Told the lady this but she just looked her up and down and said out of 28 days so no refund and just walked away, It's a 5 pound dress . Lots of people have had problems returning things within the 28 days due to lots of reasons , i work in retail and common sense and compassion has got to play some part within these decisions, these are not normal times. 5 pound may not be a lot of money to some people but my daughter has just started Uni , i am a single parent and she only works at weekends so to her it is . The woman ( a supervisor ) was just being a jobs worth . The company needs to re think there policy and be a little bit more flexible .

Gender neutral sports wear. I would like to thank the Primark for the excellent standard of fitness and Sportswear at such affordable prices. I am male and like many others are bored with the grey and black tops and leggings available in the "male " category. I have recently purchased both mesh leggings and sports tops from the far more attractive "woman's" section. They fit well offer support and look good. I wear these at the gym and have already received many compliments from both male and female members.I believe you should market more of your sports attire as gender neutral. I now attend gym with a new confidence.Thank you. Dave.

PRIMARK MUST BE LAUGHING AT THE PUBLIC EXPENSE ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK THROUGH THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD!!!! I know we are in ressession and people can't afford much and primark offer very cheap clothing but do they have to treat the public like 'fodder' when it comes to their returns policy???? I was given a couple of Christmas presents from Primark which was the wrong size, all had tickets and barcodes attached with price taken off, therefore clearly from Primark. As they were Christmas presents. I had no receipts. I asked for a change of size. I was told by the cashier and manager it is Primark Policy NOT to exchange goods for any reason without a receipt. SO PUBLIC BEWARE OF NOT KEEPING YOUR RECEIPTS DURING CHRISTMAS SEASON WHEN BUYING PRESENTS FROM PRIMARK. THEY ARE CLEARLY TAKING ADVANTAGE AND WIELDING THEIR POWER OVER THE PUBLIC THROUGH THEIR UNFAIR POLICY.

I bought a pair of pyjamas for my daughter from primark Fort Kinnaird, Edinburgh. Once home I found that as damaged. I didn't want to give that to my daughter so I went back and got it changed for another. When I gifted that to my daughter, I realised that it was too big and I went back to them asking for a small size, but I didn't have my receipt. I tried to convince them the situation but they did not help me. They might say it's company policy, but what is customer service???? I also work in retail industry. And it's nearly 8 miles I travelled to get it changed. I will NOT be shopping at primark anymore..

A shop that sells bright coloured men's briefs instead of only boring dark colours and at a good price too. Furthermore the sizing is spot on and so is the comfort of the underwear. Returned and bought a second set whilst they are still available.

Jeans did not fit as the completely wrong waist size was picked up as a gift by mistake. Despite returning them still folded and in the Primark bag, their return policy was no can do because the receipt had been binned in error. Credit card evidence of purchase was provided but still not interested. Strange how their return policy accepts the same jeans when the button had somehow become dislodged and they were deemed damaged! Honestly and good ethics gets you nowhere with a company with standards like Primark.

Very disappointed that I couldn’t return an item that had Primark logo and was still in immaculate packaging because I didn’t have the receipt. All I wanted to do was change the size. Didn’t expect money back but now I have a completely useless item as I can’t exchange it. I spoke to Gina who is the assistant manager in Uxbridge and she was appalling! Her customer services was non existing. She kept rolling her eyes and even kissed her teeth at me. Then basically accused me of stealing the item I wanted to return as I had no receipt! The woman shouldn’t be in retail. So disgusted with Primark policy in exchange and the level of capability in their management team.

Very disappointed with Primark return policy. I recieved a dress from primark £15 as a gift and the dress were wrong size. The next day I went to primark and wanted to do a straight exchange, it also had tags. But because I didn't have my receipt the staff refused to do the exchange without a receipt. Primark needs to upgrade the return policy and to allow returning without receipt. I also work at a retail and I understand all sorts of customer complaints. Returning any items should allow the tills to recognise which card it was paid with. Cash/gift card etc. And it should also recognise when it was purchased. Every store has it's own return policy. Returning without a receipt should be acceptable, as soon as you scan the item it should allow the tills to recognise everything. If the item were a gift the customer had the right to get a refund and have the money back on a gift card atleast???? I'm very disappointed with primark and I don't see any point shopping at primark ever again!!!

I’d shopped at Primark Westgate Oxford and went to Pret for lunch. I realised on leaving that I’d left a Sweaty Betty bag of shopping somewhere in Primark. The security officer at the door was Faycal Lemones and on telling him the issue took me up to customer services and found my lost bag of Xmas shopping. He was brilliant. Very reassuring and helpful, even said that he’d check the security cameras if we couldn’t find it. Great customer service 🌟

Primark sorry to hear I had a bad experience...Well I'm sorry that I've always given you my money... Tried to change a coat that was a size bigger but told I couldn't..even though I had a valid receipt...I was 1 day out of there're 28 day policy ...Im also a disabled person so getting out is very hard for me. I also had about £150 worth of other goods I wanted to buy as xmas presents. When told I couldn't even exchange the coat for a bigger size...I told them..for donkeys years I've always shopped in Primark and has from today you have lost my custom...Primark what a stupid policy you now have...I could understand if I didn't have a receipt but I did....With this policy of yours I'm now looking forward to seeing your company going into liquidation very soon.
