This lot are absolutely useless, we are now on day 34 and I am still without a bike I paid £7250 for and had to send back after the motor failed within 5 months what a load of rubbish this lot are

Brought a fly 6ce and other items. The fly was faulty and returned. It was 129.95. But was only refunded 99.95. What a rip off. The reduced refund was due to the fact that a media code was used against the original order. This had to be taken into account when calculating the refund as the remaining items on the order would be below the threshold of the amount required for the discount code to apply. i.e. if you had only ordered the other items then you wouldn’t have been eligible for a £40.00 discount off a purchase of £400.00 Your remaining balance is £278.00, we have therefore replaced the discount with £10.00 off £100.00, hence the £30.00 deduction in your refund. Won't buy much from them again. They lost out in the long term. What a rip off company.

Bought a £1000 bike, got to the end of the ordering process and went to book a delivery slot but there was no option to do so, so I emailed them and they eventually got back and said the only deliver on weekdays, what is is this as “people work” the delivery was subsequently missed and a card left behind, none of the details I had been sent, related to the card. The FedEx barcode didn’t work, there was no way of contacting them the app kept crashing, them I ding out that it was sent through TNT so they must be the same company but nothing was working through FedEx who are the ones who tried to deliver the bike. Tredz customer service extent was to leave a note on my door and ask the driver to leave the £1000 bike somewhere or ask a neighbour if they wouldn’t mind taking it in ( sure because people don’t mind having a full size bike in their front door ). Well I have offered you everything then sir and there is nothing more I can do said tredz! So I had to cancel the order! I will go somewhere else who will appreciate my custom and money

'Despatched in 4 to 7 days' is not acceptable in this day any and age, then I found out you're owned by Halfords, which explained it all.

The website has good range. Quality products. But! Posting and delivery delay from their side is too long that's why 1 star review. Needs to be streamlined. I ordered a Shimano CS-HG41 7 Speed Acera Cassette 11-28T and it has taken 7 days before it is even processed. Still waiting for it. There needs to be more of a warning that it will take this long. I have not been able to use my new bike until I got the replacement part. I will update to see how long it took for it to be posted.

******* AVOID TREDZ AT ALL COSTS ******* It's quicker to create a living child than it is to get a working bike from Tredz. I bought my bike in March last year (2020) and the problems with it are still not resolved – over 9 months now and still on going...!!! The levels of incompetency and dishonesty from the Tredz is truly staggering! They are not just bad, they are beyond appalling! They initially wasted my time getting quotes to repair the 'New' bike from a local bike shops, only to then tell me that it would void the warranty and asked me to send the bike back to them to be repaired. They then held onto the bike for a couple months and told me that parts needed to be sent off to the manufacturer to be checked, and new parts ordered. Then out of the blue, without any warning, the bike arrived at my door. I opened the box only to find that it was in the same broken condition, not a single thing done to it, no parts removed, nothing sent off, exactly the same condition! They then asked for it to be returned again, apologising and promise to repair it asap. Unfortunately at this point there are no other bikes of that model available anywhere so I sent it back hopeful that it would this time be repaired quickly. Fast forward another couple months, despite many emails and calls, still no bike... Finally I get word that’s its been repaired and a delivery date is set. No surprises when the delivery date comes and goes with no bike arriving. No word from Tredz either. 2 or 3 weeks go by and then I finally hear from Tredz, it seems they have now lost the bike. Hahaha you can only laugh at this stage or pull your hair out – Tredz are utterly useless! Another couple weeks role by and finally they get in touch to say they have found the bike, its back at their warehouse! Why is it there?? Why hasnt it been delivered to me?? Did it ever even leave?? They won’t answer my questions, just ignore me other than to say the bike will be sent out asap. No delivery date is arranged tho – why?? Then a few days later, on NYE no less, the bike turns up, again no notice from Tredz or the delivery company, it just shows up at my door. I open it up again, it has signed paper work attached to it this time saying it has been repaired, surely a good sign. Sadly not! It quickly become apparent that they may have fixed the initial gear problem but have somehow managed to break the gear shifter, the gears are now set up backwards and the shifter screen has no relation to what gear its in. It only takes 10secs on the bike to realise there is something seriously wrong with it! Only the guys at Tredz could manage this! I then complain again… We move into 2021 – if you buy a bike from these guys its worth planning at least a year in advance of when you actually need it!!! Two weeks later I get a call, apologising again, and saying they will look into it… 9months waiting… Still waiting… Still no bike…

This is disgraceful!! Never again!! This will be 2 weeks to deliver an "in stock" inner tube and some lube taking a fortnight - if i even get it by Sunday. Another weekend lost without cycling thanks to TREDZ. This is the last time I avoid amazon! I called chasing this up over a week ago! This is insane.

I Would Strongly Recommend You DO NOT Buy Your Bike From TREDZ. NO Bike After TWO WEEKS They Had Not Even Processed My Order And Then No Apology. AVOID AVOID AVOID GO TO A LOCAL SHOP BUT DO NOT BUY FROM TREDZ

PLEASE READ THIS FOR HELP I recently bought a Cannondale, it arrived with a damaged fork. Believe all the previous reviews, the customer service is abysmal. 45 min plus to answer the phone, no reply to email, live chat a joke. I was offered £25 compensation which is laughable, then offered £35. I refused both and then the contact ended as I want a new fork. I contacted Halfords head office on 0345 504 5353 as they own Tredz and they are now dealing with the matter.

Terrible build quality followed by terrible customer service. Do not buy a bike from Tredz. Bike purchased in April 2020. Arrived in a state that would have warranted a full service from a qualified mechanic. Also had manufacturer defects. The customer service since has been truly appalling. Over an hour to wait to speak to anyone, none of whom know what is going on and have a complete inability to deal with complaints. Now mid June and no refund despite the product being defective and the product being rejected under Section 20 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Avoid this company.

What a disaster of a company. What a disaster of a company. I'm posting this message here because if I send it in an email I get no reply, so hopefully, a bit of name and shame will get Tredz jumping to improve the comms and customer service. Hi customer service, thank you for your email finally on the 10.06.20 after 4 weeks of reaching out, from what I read on trust pilot you are having to mop up a large number of complaints, I really do sympathies with your service team as its not your doing, but more so a badly run business with poor leadership ideas. Sadly Tredz has in the business industry a pretty poor reputation, and being a business coach I have heard from many business owners who feel the same way about the running of Tredz to its customers, it only takes a small amount of intense complaints to turn the reputation of a business into landslide sadly. When the blame culture in any business gets to the place of which Tredz is practicing by pointing all its complaints back to the supplier or customer it is because the support system for the tredz service teams is not there and everybody is having to do what one can to calm the disappointment of the customers. Your email system is awful, a four week wait for return of message in this day and age. Tredz needs to remember the scars of customer disappointment don’t go away but spread socially. I am to contact V12 on the 16th to progress with my withdrawal of our finance contract, but heres the thing I love the bike but have no wish to be involved with a bike supplier that offers nothing less than a stressful purchase. Tredz is a stressful company to deal with. Today is the fourth week without my bike, which in turn takes a full month away from my buy now pay twelve month agreement, and for me this is also a huge issue as this was the attraction to my purchase. To move forward we can either cancel the agreement or add back into the pay later date the weeks that Tredz has held the bike in store waiting to repair. There are so many other options Tredz could have taken to rectify the elapsed time to get the bike back and while it may have asked for a different protocol to rectify the issue and get the bike back to me earlier it would have also bought the customer service the kudos that so many of your trust pilot complaints wish to avoid. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. this company is incompetent, pathetic and a joke. Ordered a bike on the 9th of May for £400 (a cheap bike in perspective) this was to keep me off public transport. The bike was out for delivery for ages so I had to cancel on the 26th of May. On the 5th of June I recieve an email about waiting for the bike to be inspected before they will contact me although I never recieved the bike. I am now without a bike. Without £400 and still using public transport. What a pathetic excuse for a business. HALFORDS NEED TO SHUT THIS DOWN.

I ordered 2 tyres for my cx bike 700c x 47mm, they sent 26 x 1.75 I contacted them re the matter, they were very apologetic and said they would send replacements within 7 days!, 10 days later no replacement tyres. A further phone call and the sent them out the same day 2 days later another set of 26 x 1.75 tyres arrived. Their excuse... it must be the supplier! Surely when you receive goods you should check its correct prior to sending to the customer. Refund!!

Terrible service!! Ordered an ebike online cost £3,300. Received an email saying the bike was despatched and would be delivered 2 days later. I booked a day off work to be in. Day of delivery and I checked DHL tracker to be advised that there was a problem and to contact sender. I called Tredz and they basically said we'll call DHL and get back to you. They called me back fairly quickly to say DHL hadn't got a van big enough to deliver the bike that day. I wasn't happy and advised I'd taken the day off to be home. They apologised and said we'll see what we can do. Half an hour later I received a notification saying my bike was out for delivery and would be delivered between 12.20 and 13.20. It never arrived and 2 hours later I received a notification stating that the driver was delayed but it would be delivered that day. 5.20 came and I checked the tracker again which said the parcel was at the depot and they had attempted delivery at 12.30. Absolute liars! I waited in at the curtains with my best mate all day. They never came and funnily enough they never left a card to say I was out? I called Tredz at 5.20 and was put told the advisors were busy but they'd be with me as soon as possible. I hung up the phone at 6.30. Absolutely shocking service. And I know they lied to me. I'd rather them have just said we cannot deliver it today and I could of gotten on with my day! Rather than waiting in anticipation for the entire day! I will NEVER buy from them again and I will tell everyone how rubbish they are.

Why advertise you have items in stock when you dont have them??? I paid £170 for a jacked that I thought I would have delivered in 2 to 3 days only to find an email from Tredz to say they had to order it from the manufacturers. If I dont get it before the weekend it will be the first and last time I use this company!!!!

I purchased a new £1000 + bike from Tredz the last bank holiday as there was an offer to receive £100 voucher if paying over £1000 and also £5 off, this prompted me to decide to buy from them rather than get the same bike from a competitor, as I intended to use the voucher to put towards new helmet , lock etc. I received the bike but not the vouchers. I called Tredz to ask about the vouchers and was told they would be sent out by email usually 1 week after receiving the bike, and if I didn't get them, to contact customer service again and they would send to me. I asked if I could be sent an email to that effect and the guy told me, no need he would put a note on my file, well as you've probably guessed o never got them, so I emailed customer service who replied saying that the code wasn't applied to my order (it was) and that there is no note on my file, so that's that. I have emailed them back, but had no reply, I have also tried getting back through to customer service numerous times but they haven't answered, yesterday I tried for 1 hour solid, with no reply. This is a shame as I did have good technical advice on the bike before I purchased from their technical department but it seems that once you have bought the bike, they just don't care, I am now seriously considering returning the bike.

Good when items in stock. However, items that are not in stock are not described as such as any item that says "shipping in 2 to 3 days" means that it is out of stock and Tredz don't really know when it will be in stock and shipped. I ordered one item expecting to wait 2 to 3 days then saw the expected shipping was 10 days away. Queried this and was told that the revised date was "definite". A few days later it has gone out by a further 2 weeks. Only use for in stock items. For others suggest ordering from other suppliers who are more honest.

I have ordered a bike and other accessories cost £999. Delivery was arranged through DHL. Consecutively 2 days completely unruly DHL said that they could not deliver because no one was at home and cannot access address. Although I was home all day waiting for my delivery. No card left at all. 3rd day delivery was delayed don't know why. Everyday I contacted DHL and Trefz. Spoken to same person everday on the phone /chat for Tredz. Same answer, they don't have control on courier service. They offered me to go to Abingdon to pick it up which is 25 miles away from where I live. On Friday Tredz offered me to rearrange delivery another time.which I refused amd asked them to refund. Now they have to ask DHL to return the items and I.cannot have refund untill then. Totally frustrating. Not recommended to buy from Tredz bikes.

I bought an e-cargo bike from Tredz through a cycle to work scheme for a total of £5,600 and a diamond rated lock to secure it. It started off pretty poorly when they couldn't secure a courier to deliver the bike on time and there was a substantial delay getting it sorted. Getting any communication on the status of the delivery was difficult too, so we had no idea what was going on. The bike finally arrived and we noticed some issues. The hex nuts securing the bucket to the frame had been overtorqued and rounded off so I had to remove them with a hacksaw to fit the rain cover, the rear mudguard fitting was snapped off and flapping around, the quick release handlebar stem was not greased so it doesn't move, and the rear wheel came off under torque, stripping off the frame fitting it was attached to. Very disappointed by the state of the bike to say the least, but I took it in for a service after doing 60 miles. The shop I had it serviced in was another e-bike provider and they found more issues with the assembly that, and I quote, "made it dangerous to ride" The assembly of this bike was literally a danger to the safety of the rider and its passengers (my 2 youngest kids) and I'm utterly disgusted it was assembled in such a poor manner that it could've caused serious injury. In addition to the above, the lock I bought to use the bike was not delivered, so I had to buy another lock to use it. It put me out of pocket over £100.
