“I purchased a marketplace setup on Feb25,2020, till this date I have not received anything. I have contacted them many times to find out where it is and have not been able to find out what happened. They are ignoring my emails now and the only thing they have ever told me is they will look into it but I don't hear anything from them and still have no web site. I asked for a refund since no one can tell me where my site that I paid for is, and of course no refunds. A no refund policy tells me the product or service must be consistently bad and they get so many refund requests that they instituted this policy. I was a little concerned that the company is in Viet Nam making it almost impossible to get ant thing done about problems, lesson learned. Now I am out of my money and have no web site like I purchased so I warn you If you have thought about using this company, ADENT.OI, READ ALL THE REVIEWS MANY LISTED ON TRUSTPILOT AND OTHER INTERNET SITES I am not the first or only person who has had the same problems. SAFE YOUR MONEY AND FIND A LEGITIMATE COMPANY TO PURCHASE YOUR NEW SITE. BUYER BE WARNED!”
“I spent $1500 on the xfans scripts (paid with a coupon) and it was awful! I asked them before I made the purchase if they would make sure all the bugs were fixed, they said yes they would fix all the issues and they would handle everything. I was very upfront that I do not know how to install the script or fix any problems that might come up.
They didn't even start installing the script onto my domain until almost 2 weeks had passed, they only started because I said I would call my bank and get a refund.
The website was full bugs, most of the pages did not work!
They agreed to a partial refund and didn't tell me how much they would send. As a business owner myself I understand there are costs on both ends, I was fine with that. But they only refunded me $750!
I was thinking somewhere along the lines of $1,100, I would be giving them $400 for a script that didn't even work and wasn't even fully installed.
Not a bad deal if you ask me, now I've had to open a paypal dispute against them. If you are thinking about buying a script from this company. Don't!

“The team at Adent is top notch. My company has been working with them since 2016, and five years later, after hundreds of emails and upgrades, updates, and customizations, we have nothing but praises for this company.
Initially, we were looking at 5 different companies/platforms to use to launch our first website with a paywall. We contacted the top 5 companies we found, and began talking with all of them to see who was going to be the best fit for us. What separated Adent from everyone else was the attention to detail, prompt responses from Steve, and it felt like no matter what time we reached out we would get an answer immediately from Steve or Nathan. Every concern was promptly addressed and all questions answered. What was also very promising was that their team did not push us to use any particular auxiliary services such as hosting or payment processing. They would happily make recommendations which helped with our research, but were always happy to utilize whatever we chose. That was comforting. After a few weeks of doing our research and talking with different companies, it was very clear that Adent was the way to go.
The next steps of designing, developing, and deploying our website were a breeze. After reading all of the reviews here on trust pilot, I have noticed that the people leaving bad reviews seem to have no clue about website development, or deployment. They seem to expect upgrades and customizations for free. Someone went on a long rant saying they did not get what they paid for.... It is clear to me that these people did not lay out clear directions for the Adent team. We have experience with standard HTML websites but were new to JSON. We provided Adent with a clear prototype of what we wanted each page to look like, and how each element was supposed to function. After we sent that in, we received a detailed estimate for the project broken down in sections, and once we agreed on everything their team executed everything within a timely manner. We were thrilled with the deployment of the website, and after testing all functions we were confident to now deploy several other sites with out customized platform from Adent.
We have launched many sites using the Adent software, and the team was always responsive and quick to resolve any issues. Whenever we had a problem with our websites, the Adent team was quick to resolve any issues quickly. We have worked on countless projects with the Adent team and have full confidence in them.
Advice to anyone considering using Adent:
1 - You need to research hosting, and understand that process to a reasonable degree first. Know that most hosting providers will not host websites of this nature, so your options are limited. I recommend Whois, been using them for over 12 years.
2 - Decide if you are using their software as is, or if you want to make customizations. If you decide to make customizations, you are better served if you make diagrams/graphics to clearly explain exactly what you want and how you want it to function. Avoid adding additional customizations after you present the customizations initially as it will complicate the process and lead to cost overruns which I see people complaining about here, because they were not precise and detailed at the beginning in terms of what they wanted.
3 - You need to be patient. Understand these guys are expanding and growing to serve more customers a time goes by. Their workload increases over time, and you need to be understanding that there is a que for requests. Be patient, they will resolve your issues in a reasonable time. Asking them every hour for updates is only going to hinder their ability to get to your requests quickly.
4 - If you are clueless about web hosting, development, deployment, don't blame delays on Adent. Your ignorance to how the particulars of how these things work is not an excuse to take it out on Adent. There are things that are out of their control, they only make the web software, they do not control your payment processor, nor do they control your hosting service. When problems arise outside of your software, and you have to rely on Adent to communicate with the payment processor or host, they are at the mercy of how quickly they get responses from these entities. Sometimes to get hosting issues resolved can take long, no matter what company you use for hosting. As someone who understands the workflow process for everything involved here, I can say with confidence that you will not find a better team to assist you with deploying your websites than Adent.
Summary - Steve and Nathan are amazing to work with, their support team are excellent at what they do and will deliver on any promises made as long as you do your part. Customizations cost money, be prepared to pay or just live with the stock software. I love these guys.”
“After researching MANY webcam platforms we decided on xCams. Had nothing to do with price but with the quality of the script which we examined closely. xCams is written in Nodejs which is used by all the enterprise level platforms now. Plus it has a responsive design which means it can be viewed on any type of device properly. The code is clean and the architecture is straight forward. Customization is easy. We have 35+ years of building software for our clients and for webcam sites, xCams is by far the best. Don't expect to be up and running overnight because purchasing the software is the easiest part. Get a good "adult" host in place (not Godaddy) and learn what it takes to be successful in this kind of business. The software from Adent will take you there, but you need to have a plan in place to be successful. They can help you with that too if needed.”
