What a discraceful company! I ordered an undercounter tripple fridge. This arrived completely wrecked. Broken glass and doors hanging off. I was told that their terms and conditions state that I must inspect the product before signing for it which was impossible as my joiner accepted the delivery. I reported the iissue within an hour of delivery but there was no apology whatsoever and just a repeated "please read our terms and conditions". They have refused to replace the item and want to charge nearly £500 to collect the broken item. The customer service is pointless. 2 hours to get through and they don't respond to emails at all! I am out of pocket over £600 and have a pallet of scrap metal in my back garden. An absolute discrace! AVOID

Terrible service....! We have ordered prep table and received a damaged product. When we request for replacement they responded like we cannot replace it until unless it is opened before 24 hours irrespective of non working days. This is not at all fare to do the business..

Appalling customer service. Parcel delivered broken and as such was refused and went back with the courier. Adexa refuse to replace or refund until parcel returned to them. No fault of my own and put of pocket with no clue as to the whereabouts of my parcel. Appalling.

Awful company. We spent a good chunk of money on 3new bar fridges and when they were delivered I had time to a cursory check and noticed no damage. Unfortunately when unpacked 1 of the fridges was damaged and missing the digital reader so it was unable to come down to temperature. Reported to Adexa who delayed the whole complaint process until their 14 days after the delivery was up and then refused to help any further. Utterly disgusted by their lack of decent customer service.

Just recived a Pizza prep fridge with the marbel top completely smashed and called for return and they dont take it back. Asked for refund same thing. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. IF YOU WILL HAVE A DAMAGED EQUIPMENT THEY WON'T REFUND YOU OR TAKE IT BACK

Delivered item was damaged. It was reported on the same day to customer service. Adexa Direct refused to replace it and offered a voucher to cover 20% of it cost. So money was wasted!!!

Please see all reviews on here as they are 100% correct. We ordered a freezer from them and because of where we live it had to be unloaded on a main road before being moved by us down a lane. As I can be a bit heavy handed I was extra extra careful so it would get to its final location undamaged in any way. Imagine my horror to discover it had been clearly damaged in their warehouse and then shipped out with the damage not being outwardly visible on delivery. As soon as the damage was found we rang them and emailed along with pictures (see some below) as the lid was completely crushed in the corner, Hinges bent and another corner bent in. The customer rep did tell me to plug it in and confirm it was working and he would organise a sizable discount if we keep it and repair it ourselves. This turned out to be £60 which doesn't even cover the replacement of the hinges that we would need to get let alone the repairs required to the lid. Do not be gullible like me and plug it in as then it is classed by them as used!!!!! When I pointed out the sum offered was not enough and they should either offer more, repair it or collect it we were told we had to ship it ourselves at our cost that they won't refund (see other peoples comments). Also there is a restocking fee of 25%. So another words it will cost us well over half the cost of the freezer to return it.....and to boot we would have to pay to get another freezer shipped to us!!!!! We are lodging a complaint with Warwickshire trading standards as we believe this set of company policies is illegal and perhaps if everyone else does the same this company will get shut down. Its not hard to see how they have £7m+ in their accounts. Staff are rude and don't care as well. I am going to cut and paste this to other review sites and suggest others doo too!

They ignore consumer law and do not take responsibility for anything. I purchased 4 cooler products, and when we took the products out of the box after delivery, we saw that 1 under-counter cooler was damaged from the back and sides. Thinking that this was due to the cargo, we notified ADEXA about the situation by e-mail. Later, upon examination, we realized that this damage was not caused by cargo, that the product was damaged during storage, and we reported this to ADEXA along with the pictures. In our e-mail, we wrote that this damaged product should be taken back and replaced with a new one. In order to return this product, a Sales Associate asked for a payment of 20% re-stock of the product price, £144 shipping fee, £120 as the sales price of the pallet on which the product was placed, for a total of £327. I paid £319 to purchase the product. Even though we wrote that these demands were against Consumer Law, that they should not receive these payments, and that a defective product should be replaced free of charge by the seller company, the Sales Associate responded like a parrot with the same e-mail and they did not produce any solution. NEVER buy products from this company. You will regret it. When you read all the comments on Trustpilot, you will see that the problem is the same. I will also complain about this company to Trader standards and I will not leave this behind.

Quite possibly the worst retailer on the internet, i received damaged goods from them to the value of £46.67 including postage. The item was then opened a few days later when needed for a BarBq to find a crack across the plate. This was reported and they then quoted this which is illegal under UK law "As stated in our terms and conditions all damage must be reported within 24 hours" I then proceeded to let them know with a photograph of the damaged goods, to which they then expected me to pay the returned costs which due to the weight would have been substantial to the value of the item. After contacting Consumer Rights and Barclaycard, both backed my case and they have since been reported to trading standards for the T&C which are legally incorrect. I warn anyone against using this company as they will do everything in there power to sell faulty goods and make returns as difficult and costly to the buyer

I bought two pieces of equipment with… I bought two pieces of equipment with adexa.com.uk and I've been requesting a VAT refund for exactly 45 days, since the delivery was made in Jersey and we pay GST here the VAT has to be returned, they informed me that I should have paid shipping fixed for Jersey where the value is 96.00 £ so they would deduct the shipping, but at first they informed 15 working days for the return, the deadline has passed and they do not refund me the value of VAT which is 706.60 Date of experience: 20 October 2022

Customer service is vile, and the delivery service is horrendously poor. They sent out round tables in the wrong colour instead of square tables. Yet refused to take them back or do anything about them. They then refused to take back a fault light. And also we’re unable to provide the items that were ordered and wouldn’t credit the right amount that were not delivered. All in all everything was such poor customer service and the only person that was at a loss was me!

I received a very damaged commercial fridge (top crushed by the control unit) which cost £1738, I was offered a £90 discount or £120 voucher. Adexa refused to exchange or refund because their terms and conditions say you are not allowed to accept the item from the driver if the item is damaged. The problem with this is it is strapped down on a pallet and covered in cardboard, you have to have it off of the truck and then remove all of the packaging to see the items which took much longer than the delivery driver was willing to hang around for. I was told the complaints procedure was under contact us - of course it wasn't! Do not shop with these people they have every excuse under the sun not to provide any after sales or customer service and refuse to take any responsibility for their damaged goods. I have now lost £1700+.

How I wish we had read reviews before purchasing from this company. Now after 2 griddle cooking units that the surface has lifted and a double chip fryer where one side packed up, why did we think it was ok. We have complained but we too have been told to pay out for a report and no chance of a replacement. As with all Chinese stuff it's rubbish and should be avoided. Please beware this company.

I bought a Catering Table from Adexa. on delivery the table turned out to be heavily Damaged on one corner. i sent an email stating the problem and that i will now be losing monies as i cannot get my commitments completed. i then called to explain the problem they put the phone down on me i recalled again the phone was put down on me. i left it a few hours and then recalled only to be told you will not get a replacement till the other has arrived and inspected. they offered me £25 discount on the item if i keep it or a £35 voucher. not a chance its damaged beyond repair. Trying to get any meaningful help from the customer services is impossible. Their replies are difficult to understand and show little understanding of consumer rights act 2015. Adexa show no concern that their faulty product is not useable at all and their attitude towards customers is arrogant, argumentative and highly suspicious. They then said my email was rude I replied if you found it rude it wasn't meant to be read that way. I then said Sorry if you feel that way. You have to see this from the customer point of view. The table I was sold is clearly not fit for purpose. I would not recommend anyone to purchase anything from this company. plus now i will have to wait till the item has been returned within the 14 day under the Consumer’s Rights Act 2015 which they have failed to meet this too. This system is all old hat and out of order. their should be a better law put in place against companies like this. Please see below what I received from this so called company. I’m still waiting for this item to be picked up and receive my monies. I think it’s time to go to trading standards and report this to them I will add my update later. In one of their emails they thought it had been picked up till I told them it’s still here

Terrible company, the worst customer service I have received - I ordered storage boxes which arrived carelessly wrapped in a thin plastic sheet, not packaged at all for safe delivery. The boxes were cracked and broken on arrival. I complained to Adexa but was completely brushed off and told that these products had passed quality control tests and were in working condition therefore non-refundable. I had asked for a replacement but my calls/emails were ignored and responded to by automated messages. Now I have storage boxes with broken lids, cracks and holes in the bottom which I cant use and the company wont accept any responsibility for. I wish I had checked the other terrible reviews online before buying from this company. Avoid them!

Everything! Received the product, opened it just outside their 24hr window which apparently is their ridiculous t&c’s for reporting damage. Unfortunately it arrived on the one day of the week were are closed so didn’t open it that day. Box was completely intact but the product inside was badly warped and dented, obviously a faulty product was sent out in the first place and clearly not damaged in transit. Despite many pleas and phone calls (we are a very small cafe and can’t afford to just replace the product) the company were immovable. Customer service shockingly bad. Requested a complaint be raised and Manager call back and was told that these are reviewed at the end of the day and the Managers decide if you warrant a call or not. We clearly didn’t. I have never had such bad customer service. Particularly in these challenging times when all businesses should be helping each other. I wasn’t even asking for a refund, just two new straight shelves so that we can put the product together. I am now taking this further and reporting to the ombudsman. Please BUYERS BEWARE

I ordered two metal kitchen tables (flat pack) for my business, which arrived promptly but during unpacking and assembly, we noticed that both were damaged. Both tables were dented significantly on the worktop areas (aesthetically undesirable for our open kitchen) and one was also dented in an area where a leg is supposed to slot in and I had to pay someone to bend it back in order for the leg to fit in. I had ordered similar items from Nisbets, which arrived in better packaging and in perfect condition. The packaging was the real issue. I decided against requesting a refund or exchange once I read their ridiculous and questionable T&C's, so I simply left the above short review to warn other customers. I've responded about 5 times to their customer care team and all I have been offered to make this right is roughly a 6% discount (£30) on my almost £500 order value. This offer was followed by a warning that I can't return the item due to their T&C's, even though I hadn't even asked for that or wanted that. I believe this was a silly tactic to scare me into accept their insulting offer. Who would buy a significantly dented table in a shop at a 6% discount?! One wasn't even fit for purpose due to the leg not fitting. I asked for 30%, but according to them that is dramatic. They offered the 6% again, but I declined and said I will share my experience instead. My company will no longer use Adexa Direct. I recommend avoiding this supplier!

Company Review
Do not buy from this company, absolute rip off and they also with-hold genuine product reviews. We installed a hot water boiler only 8 weeks ago & the product blew up yesterday. No replacement or engineer cover, parts only. Thankfully we saw it happen or it could have resulted in a serious fire The item is clearly faulty and dangerous; absolutely not fit for purpose & should be replaced or refunded! Adexa are are joke, will certainly not be buying anything from them again or recommending any of their products....our first & last experience!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! If you're not able to check and tell the company within 24 hours of delivery that an item is damaged DO NOT BUY! Our item came in a box which was not damaged and upon opening it, the packaging was all intact however the lid to the ice maker was cracked in two places. Having reported the damaged item to Customer Services 2 working days later, they said because we had not reported within 24 hours we could not return the item and were not eligible for a refund. They offered me a coupon though - why would I want to buy anything else from them when this is how they deal with their customers?!

Absolutely atrocious company to deal with. I work for a company, and we ordered a product that was delivered broken. Because we need it for an event, we were advised to order another one as the replacement would take too long. Even though for the second product we paid extra to be delivered next day it was delivered 3 days later BROKEN again. Potentially this has something to do with DPD or them not providing the suitable packaging for it. I reported the item broken 48 hours after only to find out that they have a policy that if you do not report an item delivered broken within 24 hours, they will not replace it. I am not standing here with two broken items and this company does not want to take responsibility for this shoving the 24-hour policy in my face. The products they sell are commercial, what business in this world would order something and break it after two days just to return it back. This is what the customer care suggested... that we damaged the item and we now are asking them to replace it even though we damaged it. RIDICULOUS! It seems to me that this 24 hours return policy is in place to cover the fact that they DO NOT CARE of how and when their items are delivered. It’s a way of them washing their hands of it. Unbelievable!

I ordered a bottle fridge, they did not let me know when it was being delivered, I was at work when I got a call saying I'm outside. I had to rush home to take the delivery. There was no damaged to the packaging and I had to rush back to work without opening it. Later on, we opened it up to find it was bashed up and nothing like the color it was in the photo. they have refused to refund or do anything. This company is a scam!!! I wish i had researched the company beforehand.

Adexa the worst service in the entire world. They sent me broken grill pan. Also they did corrupt practice and deleted the courrier tracking details from the parcelhub site. Adexa says they deliver the parcel on 19th July but it was delivered on 25th July. The 25th July parcel hub details got deleted by Adexa or parcelhub. Now when I complained on 25th July the day of delivery, customer care said no it was delivered on 19th. Now they declined to give me a refund as I reported on 25th July, more than 24hrs after delivery according to them. The delivery details were deleted intentionally. This company is just the idiots which makes it's customer fool.

I have bought a dishwashing machine that never worked, then they asked me to send a report to see the problem, So we had to pay a company to see the problem of the dishwasher, then they started saying that the report was not clear when it was saying exactly what the problem is, after 7 months, we have to pay a second contractor to have a look at the washing machine, and the second contractor saying the same problem PCB board issue as the first call out. Adexa accepted the second report, and now they are requesting a picture of the PCB board, it just does not make any sense they are just losing time for the warranty to finish. I would never recommended after 10 months they did not find any solution and the dishwasher never worked,

Absolutely appalling company , they list items on there website to make them look new then at the top of the page a tiny tiny star says they are grade B which you wouldn’t have a clue about as it isn’t in the description. When my item turned up it was absolutely disgusting packaging where it’s been re packaged . The item don’t work at all , I have tried phoning , emails was blocked , I have sent and received around 30 emails now and still getting no where after it’s being faulty when it was delivered, adexa keep coming out with rubbish about send this pic send this video etc and every time I do as proof they keep fobbing me off asking to try a different video etc . Absolutely avoid this dodgy company .

This company is scam. I ordered two workshop benches in my kitchen. They haven't delivered the good 10 days after I ordered. I emailed them three times, they kept saying, tracking good, will deliver. I fed up with waiting so I call them to refund. A lady said that it will charge me carriage £24. It was last Friday then refund money came today only £231. I paid over £380 including vat. How could it possible? Please tell me anyone? This company even understands what is consumers right 2015 act.

Fridge Delivered Damaged - Adexa Dont Care - As per all these other reviews, see the pathetic response below "I am very sorry that your item has been delivered to you damaged, if you would like a replacement unfortunately you will have to pay 20%, £144 admin charge and a £120 courier charge because you did accept the item so you are liable for this damage now" Please save yourselves and avoid this company

Bought a blender from Adexa in April and just a month later the rotating plastic part snapped. Adexa refused to replace the blender and instead demanded a full report from a catering engineer. Of course nobody’s going to arrange a catering engineer, it will cost more than a blender. Shame on Adexa for imposing some make-belief unrealistic and dubiously legal return policies. Never had any experience like that from Nisbets or any other catering company. Will never buy from Adexa again.
