Hi, I placed an order for an iPhone 11 Pro on Tuesday 17th and received an email requesting I contact the sales team. So far I have not heard anything from them or been able to get hold of anyone. Could I get an update as to whether or not my order has been processed please as I should have received my phone by now ?

Do not buy from these people, they are a con. I took up the deal of new Iphone 11 at £41 per month and to return my sons 2 year old Iphone 7 in "working condition" for £118.80. It was actually in excellent condition without a mark on it. They use a 3rd party thereafter to check the returned phone called E-Giant who sent me an email to say the phone was faulty. When I rang them, the receptionist said that they had removed the back of the phone and the battery needed a service which de-valued the phone and they could only offer me £40.50. They said I had to take it up with Affordable Mobiles when I tried to protest. I contacted Affordable Mobiles and they have also said it is nothing to do with them as they use a 3rd party for returned phones, despite me saying there is nothing in the terms about battery services or removing the back off the phone and that my agreement was with Affordable Mobiles, not E-Giant. They have changed the deal and made up this spurious issue with the battery just to reduce the value of the returned phone. When you speak to their customer care team they also just repeat themselves a total waste of time, once again DO NOT be conned by this company!!!!

Charlatans, make it very difficult to claim your cashback hoping you miss certain arbitrary dates, and awful customer service. Deals appear cheap but for a reason. Avoid if possible.

Cashback is ridiculous. Use mobile phones direct, it's online and trouble free.

Sent back an absolutely immaculate iphone 11 because the camera quality was incredibly poor. I and another with me examined the phone multiple times and the phone was absolutely immaculate. I was then hit with a £218 fine for marks on the phone which were absolutely not there when I sent it back. I had several people from the company try to gaslight me into believing I had done it or maybe I just did not see the marks on the phone. Lol!!!!!! I will keep the pictures of the apparent £218 worth of damage to the phone which literally looked like cat hairs. Absolutely stay clear of this company please. Master manipulators and scammers.

Do not use this company, please read this!!! I ordered a phone on contract on the 28th March, received an email saying it would not arrive the following day shortly after due to system errors. On the 29th March I received an email saying it would arrive on the 30th. When I opened the parcel, which was not big enough for a handset in the first place, there was the screen protectors, phone cases and the SIM card that I ordered but no phone, I then contacted the courier DPD to see if I was due to receive another parcel that day and was informed I wasn’t and then I contacted affordable mobiles to see what was going on, the next day, 31st March, I received a phone call to fill out a courier dispute form and send in some photos of the stuff I received, the packaging and photo ID, alongside phoning action fraud, as I was asked to get a crime reference number, and 3 mobile, to get the phone blacklisted, I had been in the phone for well over 2 hours, on 1st April, I informed affordable mobiles I wished to cancel the contract and on the 5th April I sent a copy of the proof of blacklisting letter I received from three, to affordable mobiles. Since then I have phoned affordable mobiles 5 times, totalling over 2 and half hours, to be told the same things, “this needs chasing up,” “the logistics team need to look at this,” “should take no more that 2 weeks,” and “I don’t know what going on.” I am now receiving outstanding balance letters from 3 and I am still no where closer to having the issue resolved. A further problem with the “customer service” “team” is that they can no longer be contacted by phone call, it’s all over live chat. An overall disgusting company, with a severe lack of communication with both the customer and each other.

I had a disastrous experience with Affordable Mobiles after pre-ordering an iPhone 12 Pro - an order which I ended up cancelling. After finding a favourable deal with them via a comparison website, I phoned to enquire as to stock availability upon release of the iPhone 12 Pro. I was advised that if I went ahead and pre-ordered with them, I would receive the handset on release day - and that if I didn’t, it’d mean that there would be stock issues everywhere (not just via them). As such, on 18th October (two days after the pre-order window opened), I placed my pre-order and my upfront payment of £614.99 was debited along with their £2.50 holding fee. All security checks were passed, and the following day I received confirmation that my order had been approved. Release day (23rd October) arrived without any further correspondence from Affordable Mobiles (i.e. a despatch notice), let alone the delivery of the handset. Rather than being contacted by the company, I had to phone them to enquire as to the status of the order as I had no reason not to expect delivery when I’d been told I would. This is where my nightmare began - I was advised that they were experiencing delays, but hoped to receive stock in the coming days. This didn’t ever materialise, and it wasn’t until 27th October that they circulated an email to acknowledge the delays (and state that they were aiming to source the handsets ‘as quickly as possible’). Sadly, the majority of the ensuing two weeks were spent with me contacting them for updates, only to be told on each occasion that the expected delivery date had fallen even further back. The best that they could offer me was a £10 goodwill credit, claiming that these delays were global and not just being faced by them. To make matters worse, the next email correspondence (which wasn’t sent until 10th November) mistakenly notified customers that they would receive their order the following day (yet a date in August was referenced for delivery despite being in November). This certainly didn’t help their credibility. Upon phoning to query the email, I was advised that estimated delivery was in fact now as late as 1st December. The final straw was when, only three days later (13th November), I received an email stating that delivery would now take place on 31st December (30 days later than I’d been told only three days beforehand). Just as disappointingly, the tone of all communications came across along the lines of ‘keep waiting patiently for an indefinite period, and don’t contact us as we’re busy and there’s nothing we can do about it’. Whilst I’d like to think that I demonstrated patience throughout this debacle, I wasn’t prepared to wait another seven weeks (and however longer it’d end up being on top of that), having already waited four weeks to reach this point (in other words getting nowhere). This wasn’t simply a case of me being impatient - they had £600+ of my money. Simultaneously, I was losing resale value on my iPhone XS which I had agreed a fixed price on to be recycled, with quotes only being valid for 14 days (and values of older handsets like this consistently dropping). The icing on the cake is that this experience now affects the dates that I can upgrade in future, as my contract start date had been delayed by over a month. I cancelled my order with Affordable Mobiles, and on Saturday 14th November I contacted Mobile Phones Direct and placed an order for an identical handset through them, which arrived the following day. So much for a global shortage! I just wish I’d made this decision in the first place, or at the very least much earlier - rather than mistakenly putting my faith in Affordable Mobiles. Mobile Phones Direct should act as an example to Affordable Mobiles as to how to operate a business.x

Seem to be good deals and the delivery times aren’t bad but the aftercare from this company is shocking! If anyone is thinking about these cashback by redemption deals I’ll save you the hassle now before you waste all the time and effort... it’s the biggest farce ever, they make it so difficult to even claim for it it’s unreal not straight forward at all. Emailed and called them endless times to which they just blame it on a “technical error” everytime “so just send it us again and we’ll process your claim”..... come on after 4 times already just the first cashback amount??!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Surprised by all the negative reviews. I ordered 2 phones on 2 separate occasions. Yes, I did have a problem with the first phone but that was down to dpd , aff mobiles sorted the issue out. Both my kids hot what they wanted at a very good price.

Not one for a bad review as I sit behind the Trustpilot reviews at my workplace and know how frustrating a bad review can be for a company, but this company deserves one. After taking out a new contract with O2 via Affordablemobiles.co.uk I noticed my new iPhone was losing signal in different locations intermittently. Apple said that there is a fault with the phone and that I am entitled to a replacement with the reseller. Affordablemobiles.co.uk have tested my device and found no fault. They are refusing to replace the phone, or give me my money back because of the fact they can't find a signal fault which is only intermittently appearing - how am I meant to prove when it happens if it happens once every few days and I'm running out of time to prove my case before I won't be covered under warranty. They have given me excuses like 'a factory reset can help' (done that and issue persisted), 'the location of our warehouse means that maybe the issue has been resolved' (what??!) and said that it can sometimes be resolved just by being turned on and sent in the post to them and turned on (Apple have confirmed this is not true). They had only had the phone for a day so I don't understand how they have thoroughly tested it either. Customer assistants did their best which I appreciate, but no one passed me to someone senior to discuss this issue and they all said they 'understood' but I do not feel understood and so I have gone straight to Apple who are also confused that I have not been offered a new phone no questions asked. I will be taking the phone to Apple who have already seen there is a fault with the phone and who have said they can replace it because I cannot be bothered to faff around with Affordable Mobiles anymore. Absolutely shocking service and I will never be using this company again after my contract is over, wish I had got my money back within the 14 day cool off period. Careful if you get a fault with a phone - it will inconvenience you and no goodwill is offered and don't expect them to provide overwhelming help.

Never in my existance come across a company who lie so much. Phone was sent out but not delivered for 5 days. When I eventually got it, it wasn't what they said it was, specifically a dual sim and it was only a single sim, so I sent it straight back without switching it on the very next day. Four days after they tell me it's scratched and can't be exchanged. How can a brand new phone be scratched when it's not even swtiched on and the cellophane is still on? Never deal with affordable mobiles if you want a peaceful purchase.

Terrible customer service, returned phone for repair and was told 4 wk turn around, 8 weeks later and still no phone and no explanation other than they are trying to source a new phone, this makes me think mines either been lost or sold. They never contact you, I’m now at the point of contacting trading standards over the company AVOID

I told them I'd leave a review on every site i could find. And it's not a good one. Had a phone delivered that had somehow been switched before it got to us. Nearly two months been waiting, have to eventually send snotty emails just to get a reply back. They do not seem to have a clue what they are doing, or they just don't care. Either way I'll never deal with them again. And I hope my review helps other potential customers do the same. Bit of customer care goes a long way. Buy they wouldn't know. Neil

I bought my phone with them 2 years ago. During purchase it was no information how do I claim for cashback. They just sent to me 6 code vouchers. After my last bill arrived I sent an email to get my cashback with all my 24 bills. They replied they cannot proceed my cashback. Horrible company. You must avoid it at all costs. Lottie from Customer Service is extremely rude
