About AKRacing Australia:

AKRacing has come a long way since their inception in 2001, where their focus was solely on the production of race car seats. The AKRacing brand was previously known as AK Seat. Fast forward to 2008 and AKRacing now specializes in producing premium and ergonomic gaming and office chairs and equipment.

The AKRacing brand was introduced into the Australian market back in 2015, where they continue to operate out of the leafy green suburb of Kirrawee. AKRacing now has distributors all over the world - America, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Tahiti and Europe, just to name a few.

Something that sets AKRacing apart from their competitors is that they do 100% of their own designs, R&D, product development, testing and quality control. AKRacing highly guarantee their products, as they manufacture every single part, which means that they do not have to source these components from other suppliers, allowing them to ensure the quality is always consistent.

Currently AKRacing Australia offers their chairs in 3 different materials, which feature across 9 different chair series, boasting an impressive range of over 45 different chairs in total.

“Very easy to assemble”

“Bought one of these chairs for my son last year and it has been great. Finally had to replace my old office chair so researched best value gaming chairs. Check the reviews and AKRacing is always right up there. So far so good on two of these chairs. Comfortable, sturdy and well priced.”

“Checkout process was excellent, well built website, dispatch and delivery timeframe also excellent. Description of package contents poor, paid extra for an upgrade offered during checkout for a cushion that came with the chair by default, was not listed. Chair turned up with a plastic guard component broken. Did not affect assembly or operation of chair, no reply to communications regarding this matter.”

“Not a good business model to not offer returns especially when something costs around $500 which is a lot of money to a lot people and have to save up to spend this on 1 item. And chairs don’t suit everyone’s body. It’s hard to tell if this is suitable for the body unless we try. You can learn from Nike and adidas. They allow returns then check the product is ok then refund the money. You can easily refurbish when things are pretty much new. Or maybe allow a discounted section on your site. Very bad company for not allowing returns.”

“A little narrow in the chair width, I am not that large 5"11 about 80kg another inch wider would be perfect, can't see how a "larger" person would fit”

“The quality of build/craftsmanship is fairly sound and strong. The materials are of reasonable quality, however, they could be better for the price point of a Player series. The colour, Orange, I was told over my phone inquiry was supposed to be "glossy." But it's not glossy, it's just bright Orange.”

“Trying to return a chair I used for 2 hours. Since two weeks no helpdesk response or reply to my RMA. To me it looks like they don´t want customers to return their items.”

“Excellent product and service I ordered a gaming chair and was easy to put together The chair is above standard, a real quality product. (very happy) I also added a footrest to the order and there was a mixup, I received a mat. Without any hesitation, this was sorted in 1 call and my footrest was received the following day. WOW! beat that for service. Very courteous and a pleasure to deal with. Well done AKRACING 6- star Wayne”

“0 Customer service given... This brand has very poor service for their warranty. The helpdesk is not helping/responding AT ALL. When contacting them through Facebook they claim they are not responsible for their own product they make. Thanks AKracing 🙂 Great customer service you guys give thumbs up. After facebook messaging with them, due to no respoding them on any emails they have send me this message. And as said in the message below i contacted the company they told me to contact and PCB is not doing business with AKracing anymore for over 6 years because of the poor quality they deliver. So mr. Director of AKracing please reply :) " Hello Chris, Ulyana here, director at AKRacing. First of all, I am very sorry that you are experiencing problems with your AKRacing chair. As far as I understand from our internal conversations, there has been a certain degree of misunderstanding going on. According to my information, you would like to claim the broken chair under the 5/10 year warranty advertised by AKRacing B.V. on the Overture model you purchased on Nov 30-2020. Unfortunately, our 5/10 year warranty does not apply to the Overture model, as stated in our official EU Warranty Policy, which Shelly has pointed you to previously: https://eu .akracing. com/pages/warranty-policy. The 5/10-year manufacturer warranty is only applicable to our current product range listed on eu.akracing.com. The Overture model is not and never was part of this range. In fact, AKRacing B.V. never officially carried the Overture model in the EU and therefore has no a) legal obligation or b) technical possibility to offer a warranty for this chair simply because we never offered it for sale and do not have replacement parts for the chair. The Overture model you purchased was sold in the EU by a 3rd party distributor, PCB that is not affiliated with AKRacing BV. They are the importer of the product and therefore have a legal obligation to service the product for their advertised warranty term. The warranty terms for AKRacing products distributed by PCB can be found on their website: https://akracingeurope .eu/warranty-policies/. Specifically, they read: "Manufacturer Warranty Thank you for your interest in the products and services of AKRacing Europe. This Limited Manufacturer Warranty applies to all products purchased from AKRacing Europe or any of our official resellers. What does this limited warranty cover? This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the first two years from the date of purchase." I would therefore recommend reaching out to PCB and requesting warranty service for the Overture model from them as you are still within your 2-year warranty term until November 30-2022. You can contact PCB at akracing @pcb.se or, if you don't hear back, here is a mode detailed list of contact information with phone numbers: https://pcb. se/en/Meny/Contact In case PCB refuses to warrant your claim, I may suggest opening a chargeback with your bank for the transaction because you're being refused service for a product within its warranty period. Once again, I am very sorry AKRacing BV is unable to help with this warranty claim. " After a convo today i get this message of them regarding to PCB :) PCB are lying to you. They were the one and only distributor until 2018 for AKRacing products. The chair you purchased was distributed by them. AKRacing B.V. Never sold that model in Europe. Oh and Trustpilots reviews ARE for PCB.”

“Bought the Overture chair for my girlfriend (157cm tall). It is nice and squishy on the butt, and has a good lumbar support cushion. Materials seem like they're of good quality and sturdy, and it was fairly easy to put together (however the instructions aren't very clear). The arms are adjustable in 2cm increments and the chair fits nicely under her desk when she needs to sit closer. She really likes to cross her legs when she sits — unfortunately this chair doesn't really allow that (but good for posture so I'm happy with it on her behalf 😊). Leans back to a full 180° and is overall very nice. She can sit in it for the whole day without any issues. A small issue she had was that the cushions were not intuitive to attach. The suggested placement of the neck cushion around the top of chair doesn't look good & she is too short to reach it. We've put it through the back with a carabiner instead. Personally, I feel like the chair fits perfectly to my body (185cm tall, medium build) and I would rate it 8.5/10, but 10/10 would recommend. I might actually buy one for myself! My girlfriend rates it an 8/10, but it's a really great chair for its price. Also 10/10 would recommend. Plus it comes in a lot of colours.”
