“The 3 man team arrived on time and were amiable, respectful and hardworking. Nothing was too much trouble. They worked through to 17:30 and made sure we were happy with the placement of the heavy furniture. Would highly recomend AMC”

“Angus and the team were polite, efficient and very respectful. They did the whole job quickly and looked after my belongings extremely well. The admin staff were also very helpful and we felt looked after at every step of the process. We would not hesitate to use AMC again if need ever move again.”

“From the minuite of arrival, the guys (John, Alan and Harris) were curtious, respectful and worked well with our loading plan, the guys were very hard working keeping to the allocated timing, even though we had a bit of a delay getting our keys. The lorry was loaded well taking care of our items woud defenately recoment, John Alan And Harris and AMC Removals.”

“Would like to give more than 5 stars. There was a long wait to start loading and even longer wait of nearly 3 hours to unload due to complications with my buyers solicitor. The two boys were very friendly and polite, never complained or moaned about anything, even many flights of stairs at both ends. Catherine in the office kept in touch the whole time and was very supportive. Would recommend AMC to anyone. Excellant service all round.”

“Moved from Dunfermline recently and the whole experience from initial enquiry to survey and booking was excellent. Really helpful and reassuring staff at every stage. On the day the 3 man team were careful and considerate when loading and unloading and appreciated their calm approach on what can be a stressful day. Would thoroughly recommend in the future”

“The removal workers themselves were very quick, careful and professional. However the communications about the pricing and arrangements were very poor. There is a basic cost but you are charged extra for packing materials (over £200 in our case), for the equipment to move TVs and clothes, and by the box for everything they had to pack (nearly £10 per box. They also say they provide free insurance but once you sign up they explain this only covers your items while they are in the van. Any damages loading or unloading are not covered and we had to pay an extra £98 for this. It is very difficult to understand the pricing system and we ended up.paying almost three times the original office based estimate quoted on the website. My advice is get estimates from different movers before you make the decision and see if you can get firm quotations.”

“Great, prompt communications with the main office ahead of the move. On the day the crew worked steadily and professionally, taking care of items and using mats to prevent dirty feet on carpets, dissemble/reassembling beds quickly. We’re really happy with the service. Just one chipped pot otherwise all in tact. Thanks to Brendan, Michael and Jack for putting in a long 10hr shift in the cold and rain.”
