After 1 year, I was contacted by another company to designs a site. When I explained that I already had one. They said, “well we are contacting you because you don’t”. When I finally got a text back, they stated I needed to pay $650 for software upgrade and for it to be live again. “I do NOT recommend American Web Coders to design and create a website for you. They are a dishonest company full of lies! I have been working with them the past 7 weeks and still I can't get simple issues fixed that should take a "so called" professional company like them only a couple minutes of there time to fix. This was supposed to be a 3 week project but now its already carrying into week 8. My Project Manger (Susan Morris) and Project Head (David Jones) were helpful the first 2-3 weeks but after the 3 weeks were up it looks like they took on different projects and didn't have time for me anymore even if my web design wasn't even half finished yet! Getting a hold of David Jones was like trying to get hold of a dead man...it simply wasn't possible. But the first three weeks when they "bated" me into giving them more money, David Jones was very eager to help because he saw dollar signs. This was promised to me that it wouldn't cost more than $370 USD but shortly after my first payment (after they lured me in and already having $350 of my money, which they knew I was never ever gonna get back no matter how hard I tried) I had to spend another $350 USD on hosting (which was never ever mentioned in the phone call with the sales guy that lured me into buying this package). And another $350 USD on various plugins and content which was never mentioned before either. So I started off with a $350 budget but it quickly escalated well above that. NOT OKAY TO PLAIN OUT LIE TO CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE PRICE! Describing something to Susan Morris over the phone, on text and on email was a pain in itself because I had to explain everything 10 times before she finally got what I meant. Took up a very large amount of my time which I am never gonna get back. I could go on and on with this but you get my drift...NO, I WOULD NEVER EVER HIRE AMERICAN WEB CODERS TO DESIGN A WEB SITE FOR ME AGAIN! You will do yourself a huge favour if you stay far away from these people...”

No professionalism and very useless coders who ignore the customer's requiremnts for their website. They issued me a contract and they are not adhering to as up to 3 months after i should have gotten my website i am still not in recipt of it.
I shopped around for a web developer to build my site on a theme I had already purchased. Out of everyone, they said they could do it and charged me $550. I paid them the money and collected a site about 5 weeks later. Upon interacting with the site i realized that it was hard coded and not built on the theme i provided (which was the only reason i selected them for the job...because they said they could do it). I was presented a website which i had no idea how to maintain as I am not a programmer . I raised this issue and they claimed they would redo my website. I began getting excuses one behind the other for delays and missed deadlines. After many calls , messages and emails they presentrd me something that looked nothing like a website...it was simply a webpage filled with pictures and no functionalies and looking very poorly done. I rejected it and requested my money back as this was not what I ordered and we were now also way beyond the initial 3 weeks projected completion date...(i contracted them in January and this was now March...15 weeks later.
Since then, they have been giving me the runaround and refusing to answer my emails.
To be honest I believe these ppl are scammers and thieves...they don't adhere to what they are contractually obligated to do and string customers along without any end in site.
DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE TERRIBLE AT WHAT THEY CLAIM TO OFFER AND REFUSE TO REFUND EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE THE REFUND CLAUSE IN THEIR CONTRACT.
I reported them to the LA consumer board todayand will move forward to force them to refund my money.”

“For the last eight years, All of my internet services for web hosting, emails, fax domain have been with GoDaddy ( proof of services) . I never transferred any of the services Webcoders made me pay for prior to building my website and proof no website design ever commenced. Also, please the email proof of my cancellation ceasing all services communication. I'm not very computer literate. As a result, I almost became a victim of an international scam organization. On 9/16/21, I contracted Wed coders to upgrade my website for $2499- They told me to fill out a questionnaire about the type of website I'd like to design. I didn't feel comfortable giving out my passcodes to Web coders till I saw a finished website product. On 9/17/21, Brain Willams contacted me and started to build the website. I needed to pay $4300 – ( see receipt). I never moved my Domain, Email or hosting, or fax. I didn't feel comfortable giving them access. I didn't understand why I needed to pay for these services until they finished designing the website. On 9/22/21, Web coders contacted me again, stating that I must acquire a Norton Security & DMCA compliance to build my website for $3000. They use very high-pressure sales techniques to scam money from victims. I must pick a website layout. (see Email) Unfortunately, I was not too fond of any of the website designs offered. I just wanted to update my existing website. I became suspicious. I contacted Go Daddy, who informed me this was a scam. I didn't need to pay for any of those services to build a website. It was never necessary to pay for server or even ex-fax when GoDaddy was already my server. Efax is with go-daddy. I immediately sent an email on 9/24/2021. (see Email) to cancel everything. I didn't want to pursue working with web coders. I already paid for my domain for one year with go daddy.
For Example, Go Daddy also informed me there was no such thing as a lifetime domain or any of the other services they kept adding on to my initial request to build a website. . That was a lie. Domains are with GoDaddy and paid for 1 year. All websites come with security. I didn’t need to pay for that up front. I’m already paying for this service with GoDaddy. See proof of GoDaddy services already provided to me. I've hired GoDaddy to do my website. Continue all my internet email services, hosting security etc. I never transferred any services to Web coders at any time. – see receipts. Web coders never performed any work on my website design. I never selected a layout. I never transferred my hosting or emails. Go Daddy also told me informed that I was lucky I didn't give them my passwords to get into my domain or emails to steal, I canceled my credit card & disputed the charges. Unfortunately, this company isn't in San Jose; It's an international crime syndicate that's scamming computer illiterate people like myself. I've hired GoDaddy to do my website. Continue all my internet email services, hosting security etc. I never transferred any services to Web coders at any time. – see receipts. I did a little research on web coders. Unfortunately, all the reviews are fake.”

The plan that you opted for was a Platinum Website Package worth $2500 that was needed to be worked on the existing website provided by you. Initially, you told us that you were not satisfied with the services being provided by Go-Daddy and with your full consent you signed up with us also additional services were given as per your requirements with your approval to everything. A dedicated project manager was appointed for you, everything was informed through the calls and emails about every update on each step before any changes were made.
The bottom line is that you were not satisfied by the services being offered to you by go daddy and decided to work with us with full consent, you were aware of everything and nothing was done without your approval. There was constant communication between the project manager and you through calls and emails hence everything was informed beforehand. Moreover, you even insisted that you liked the layout and would just recommend a fine-tune.
