WELL, DONE AMPLIFON After many years and two companies trying to fit me with hearing aids that were not uncomfortable to wear and did not irritate my inner ear not to mention adjustment to suit different noise situations, I decided to try Amplifon. After all the moral test that I had had before plus 2 test that I had never experienced before I had problem believing what I really what could hear with what was recommended. I now have my hearing aids. They are much smaller than the others and are a pleasure to use the settings are brilliant, do not irritate the inner ear and I am not fiddling with them when I change my location or environment. The first day I wore them for 8 1/2 hours and it was like living in a normal world again, no adjustments or fiddling with them at all and I no longer must use the high volume setting on my phone and all settings and adjustments can be done on my phone if needed. Day 2 they have been fitted for 12 hours I have lowered the volume setting from 5 to 3, phone calls are a pleasure to experience again with moral volume again and I can be up the yard and my mobile rings I can hear it ringing. Thank you Amplifon and the staff at Eagleby Qld. Cliff. Hodgson

Have been waiting since 10th march for new battery trays which they said would take a few days. Have never kept us informed as to the delay in supply. We have always had to ring them up and their answer is always we will chase it up and get back to you. Rubbish customer service.

From Manchester to Harrow, the customer team were either not sure of themselves or they were just interested in constantly harassing you for personal details. Even after the details were disclosed, they went back and asked again, leaving the customer suspicious of funny goings on. When questioned about why the constant repeated detailed questioning, the response was "a computer glitch". Good thing I backed out, and saved myself from further harassment and expenditure.

I bought hearing aids on 09/02/2018 for £1,615.00. I had regular hearing check ups, unfortunately I started having problems with the left hearing aid just a couple of months after the guarantee ran out, they would not do anything for me except inform me it would cost me £99.00 for it to be repaired or £3000.00 for new ones, they promise a life long after care, I don't think so, I have been left with only one hearing aid working, I am so disappointed, I have now gone somewhere else, but I feel my money was wasted with amplifon and I would not recommend them.

Not at all satisfied . Poor service. Customers are not informed that availability of spare parts is available for only 5 years from the date of introduction of particular model. Almost every 6 month, there is a problem with Widex hearing aid purchased for around Rs.50,000/- and charges for the same are around Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 6000/- and take around 3 weeks to get the replacement of the part done.

Dishonest mailing campaign. Just got a mail from Amplifon stating it was an appointment reminder on the envelope. The first line on the letter inside was also that it was a “reminder”. These are predatory business practices aimed at seniors. Don’t trust this company.

Its only money making after the warranty period. Very expensive and build stories to charge you. Had a bitter experience after warranty.

It's just a scam, they say it's a FREE hearing test, when actually they have to test your ears to know what level if hearing aid you need .. Then they start, how much is your budget.

It is a shame that Cigna partners with this company. Service is bad, very unprofessional. They wanted me to send the custom fit hearing aids back and they would replace with an older model???? They stated the model they gave me were not on the Cigna covered list. However, I cannot get a list of covered hearing aids from Cigna or Amplifon. Now they are calling and harassing me and I called Cigna and Amplifon ahs not even filed a claim with Cigna. Cigna said that it was their mistake and they should not expect me to return the hearing aids. Stay away is the best advice I can give.

Filled in a suitability quiz to see if I should go look at the 'better' hearing aids than the one I got elsewhere. Was interested. Arrived and was initially impressed at the look of the place. My file was all messed up and the provider would not even turn my way when speaking to me (as if masks don't make hearing hard enough! Was told the hearing tester was not available today! Then told I was INeligible as my aids were too new and the only way to fix this was to 'lose' them! Was further told to even give a comparison, to even look at mine I would have to cut ties with my old provider which I am certainly not going to do. A shambles and unethical.

Worst service I have ever had in my life. Trying to replace hearing aids for my dad after he lost his. Made 3 appointments which were all cancelled by this office. My dad dealt with this office for years even before it became Amplifon. There was never a problem. Now there's every excuse in the book that they have to change his appointment, the last one was that they never had a hearing specialist. Thankfully the last time I booked an appointment, I also booked it with another company, knowing that my dad's appointment with Amplifon would be cancelled, and yes it was. My phone calls to them went unanswered, messages never were called back, the man at the 1-800 was polite and helped me finding out when my dads appointment was. With covid the door to this office was locked, which is all good. I knocked on the door and a lady came and opened it, I asked if she could look up my dads appointment, she asked if it looked like she was sitting behind a desk. WT... How about you close the door, go look and come back. I will never tell anyone to go here and with all the problems they have this may be another company closing it's doors to awful management. I could go on with this review but I don't think everyone needs to know the hell this company put my father and I through for many months. Do not make an appointment. I dealt with this company with email and telephone. Calls were never returned. Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Worst company ever for customer service and follow through . My Father lost his hearing and had a very bad fall. He was hospitalised but he suffered with delirium because of the fall . The specialists and doctors advised me without them it would get worse and so would his frustration and he would get angry and fearful due to Covid masks amd not being able to hear . This all happened . Watergardens store I put an urgent with them on the 12th November . Every time I called a different story and excuse . It’s in the mail , manufacture called said they had trouble making it without the other mould , manufacturer doesn’t have the Material and many more . I called head off more excuses . I escalated to Management nobody called me back. It is now the 2nd December my father just passed away . The stress of it all killed him and had a heart attack

I have spent over 5,400 with Amplifon in the last two and a have years, I lost one of my first Aids and they could not replace one, they wanted 3,400 for a new pair, Why couldn’t they replace one ?? So I bought a new pair, singing and dancing But they kept going wrong. At the moment I have not got my Aids back, so my hearing is awful. I bought a pair of Apple iPod Pro and pair them with my iPhone that is used has a Microphone they are Brilliant and cost 250 pounds. Another thing when you buy any hearing Aids make sure you tell your the Insurance company ! Other wise they are not covered. Regards Alan

Worst experience I've had with a company. Cigna contracts out to Amplifon which for most people is prob ok if you don't mind old technology. They DO NOT cover new tech nor are their reps trained very well. I wouldn't buy a phone from 2018 or 2016 so why would I be limited to old technology? I guess so Amplifon can save money. They blame Cigna, Cigna blames Amplifon. Amplifon will not send you a list of covered devices as it's secret. If you can avoid them I would!

This has been a good company which I fear has deteriorated, perhaps due to poor management. My local branch quite good although turnover rate of audiologists may be a warning sign. Individual staff mostly very good. However after the (Coronavirus) lockdown started I needed help with a wax-blocked hearing aid. All clinics closed of course. I would have been happy to send it somewhere, even clean it myself if possible (never been shown how). National helpline (long time to get through) arranged someone to a call me. That one call happened while I was out (daily hour-long exercise); can't phone the calling number back - it just refers me to helpline. Helpline guaranteed I would get another call. I'm still waiting (over 2 weeks). Luckily a small local independent was prepared to fix the aid - at no charge.
