Mixed Experience at Arnold Clark Doncaster - Amidst Repair Challenges and delayed refunds. My journey with Arnold Clark's Doncaster branch has been a rollercoaster of emotions, marked by significant challenges yet tempered with exceptional support from certain staff members. Dealing with over £1,000 worth of damage on a used Tesla and ongoing repairs after purchasing a car early Feb period has been taxing, not to mention the delays in refunds and service updates. However, amidst these obstacles, the dedication of Cat from the service centre (Leeds) and Shannon and manager Debbie from the warranty team shines brightly. Their efforts in escalating and addressing my concerns, which have persisted now for over a month, are commendable and deserve recognition. The core issues began with the discovery of wind noise while driving at speeds over 50mph OS door after purchasing the vehicle, which prompted an investigation request. Furthermore, the wing mirror was damaged in the showroom, despite confirmation from the Doncaster branch, this has left me waiting for repairs. Adding to the list, the driver's window presents a draft and noise issue at speeds above 50 mph, compounded by a damaged inside manual driver door handle noted. Although I reported these problems expecting timely repair, the wing mirror replacement part, promised for delivery to my home address, has yet to arrive. Other concerns include a non-functional mobile battery charger connector and unsightly glue stains underneath the driver's seat and a refund for a wall charger. These issues not only diminish the driving experience but also reflect poorly on the post-sale support quality. In summarising my experience, the commendable customer service from specific individuals cannot be overstated. Cat and Shannon's proactive approach in dealing with my concerns provided a glimmer of hope in an otherwise frustrating situation. Their empathy and diligence in escalation are the silver linings in this ordeal. However, the broader picture reveals significant room for improvement in handling repairs, parts delivery, and overall communication and treating customers fairly. A more streamlined and efficient process would not only enhance customer satisfaction but also bolster the reputation of Arnold Clark's Doncaster branch who passed all concerns to Leeds, now the warranty team are resolving all issues. I highlight, If the vehicle wasn’t taken to Tesla for inspection I would have fallen out of warranty making the claim for damages difficult to pursue. In conclusion, while I am grateful for the outstanding customer service from Cat and Shannon, the persistent issues and delays ongoing highlight a need for systemic changes. Addressing these areas could transform customer experiences from poor to exceptional, reinforcing trust and loyalty towards Arnold Clark.

From start to finish the salesman, customer service and rudeness. At the time of purchase was made to wait for hours on four occasions. Promises were made which weren’t fulfilled. Was told they would provide floor mats for the car which I didn’t get for over three months. That even after numerous phone calls. Promised they would call back but never did!! I was told that the car was serviced and after 10 months the warning lights came in the car that I needed oil and filter changed!! Salesman Ronnie Greig was rude before and after purchase. He was biased and treated me badly being of Indian origin. Criminals and cowboys!! Wow never purchase another car from them

I went to the Morecambe branch, in order to look for a car. Unfortunately, I couldn't park on the road, and customer parking didn't exist. Sorry, buying online now.

I was treated with total respect by Simon Cameron who works in car sales at Pottery St Arnold Clark. Simon was clear and welcoming his knowledge on each car was phenomenal. Communication is an art which Simon has in abundance. I would go back to Simon for a car for the above reasons stated

DO NOT TRUST ARNOLD CLARK PERTH. Arnold Clark deserve ZERO stars. When buying a new car you want 3 vital things: reliability, safety and security. My nearly new Peugeot offers none of these. But Arnold Clark don't care - they just take your cash to hit their monthly targets and walk away. After the sale they refuse to resolve issues despite selling you a lemon - even when the car is one of their own registered vehicles and is under Peugeot's manufacturer warranty. Shockingly bad service. Arrogant, disrespectful Perth General Manager who hides in his office. Rude sales team who just try to sell you another, lesser car to help them hit their next target. Rude servicing staff who speak to you like you're an idiot. Useless mechanics who repeatedly take the car in to fix the issue only to return it with a new one. They can never work out and fix the problem even though they take your car away for days at a time... a whole week last time! Arnold Clark can't repair locally either, instead they expect you to drive miles and miles away to other Arnold Clark garages in Scotland. You have to take more and more time off work and chase constantly. With no courtesy car you're expected to find your own way back from the other side of the country by bus, train or taxi. In the beginning Arnold Clark Stirling staff even advised me to complain to Head Office at the poor level of service from Perth!! Having already had to take so much time off work and having already had to shell out for multiple taxis, I have given up on Arnold Clark and been forced to go to another local dealer - staff there are not at all surprised by my negative experience! Only wish I had known of Perth Arnold Clark's poor local reputation before I parted with my hard earned cash! Arnold Clark's level of customer service is wholly unacceptable. I regret buying from Arnold Clark. I will never buy from or hire from Arnold Clark again. Buyer beware - please do your due diligence and think twice about buying from Arnold Shark!!

The service manager at Linwood Kia was unpleasant because I questioned how long it would take for a service and MOT despite having paid for a service plan and MOT in advance I was told to take my car somewhere else if I was not happy I'm looking for money back since the customer service I received was nasty

Dropped my car off on Thursday 15 February 2023 for a computerised issue and 3 recalls. They called pretty sharp to explain delays due to requiring further information from their Technical Team which I accepted. By Monday 19 February 2023, I had heard nothing unless I called them (no updates provided), however when I called they advised they now had the information but my car was at the back of the que as other cars had came in since, to then go on and say that I'd just need to wait, they couldn't advise when my car would be seen, "just when they had time", also mentioning on two occasions that they've had cars there for "a week" (Service Advisor) and then "since last year" (Service Manager). To now, when I call they are refusing to speak with me and are passing pathetic messages of excuse onto the Receptionists. I've logged a formal complaint and written to the CEO. Unsure if it'll make the blind bit of difference. Their attitude is shocking and their Customer Service can't be described in words! They couldn't give a toss about their customers. My car is a Warranty job so isn't making them any profits so therefore chucked to the back of the que as their only interest is profits but like to portray themselves as 'Customer Focused', only when we part with our cash though!

Paid £23,000 for the car and bought the £500 2 year Autocare warranty. 7 months down the line and i have an “excessive” oil leak, numerous lights on the dash which is apparently down to a faulty sensor somewhere and is setting the rest of the sensors off and a number plate light out which they have quoted me £67 to replace! The faulty sensor they will look into but the oil leak is not covered under the warranty i paid £500 for. They conveniently put in the warranty everything that IS covered which makes it look quite extensive when in actual fact it is parts of the car that are unlikely to fail in the cars lifetime. Avoid them

Arnold Clark sold me a faulty car. They buy their cars at auction and patch them up. They consistently lie to you too. I have reported them to Trading Standards and I will tell everyone I know about my terrible experience. Avoid at all cost. The car I purchased lost power on the motorway. The gear box has failed and they laughed and said cars break down all the time. AVOID ARNOLD CLARK.

The best advice I can give to you, is please DO NOT buy from Arnold Clark. Our experience is that they will just lie constantly to get a sale. The after care customer service is none existent. The manager and sales person at Stafford actually ghosted our calls! How unprofessional is that? Plus the car had not been cleaned when we picked it up. We had to clean sick from the door. Worst experience of buying a car ever. Never again.

A two star overall review says it all. I give AC minus 10. 2 cars every 2 years, a verbal agreement with an advise who was sacked telling us we have our first service free. The to be told 'its not in your contact' Diabolical Customer service who should all be SACKED!!!!! And continued calls asking if we want to book the car in first service. I could only reply with words that couldn't possibly be printed. Let say AVOID THIS COMANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

Bought a car from Sefton Street Liverpool 12 months ago. Jake the sales rep advised I had 2 free services as part of the deal. When I called to book my first service I was told by Jake that I didn’t have a free service and he denied offering the service as part of the sale. My nephew and grandfather were with me when Jake promised the free services. Jake denied this and said his Manager didn’t have any recollection either . His attitude towards me was unprofessional and patronising. I would not recommend him or Arnold Clarke.
