I am a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience in solo practice, based in Athens, Georgia. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I closed my traditional office and transitioned to virtual psychotherapy. Post-pandemic, I have continued my practice from my home office, located in a historic 1880s home within a designated historical neighborhood. While I still offer virtual sessions, the majority of my patients are now seen in person, in the comfort and privacy of my cozy home office.
My primary focus is on individual therapy, accepting Blue Cross, Medicare, and Workers’ Compensation. However, my true passion—and most rewarding work—lies in couples and marriage therapy. I have been extensively trained through formal education, continuing education, and the full third level of The Gottman Method. I offer both traditional couples therapy and Weekend Couples Intensives, which involve 16 hours of intensive therapy over a weekend. These services are not covered by insurance and are billed as out-of-pocket expenses.
In addition to my individuals, couples, and marriage work, I offer psychological testing services for ADHD Assessments, Fitness for Duty Evaluations, and General Psychological Evaluations. These testing services are also out-of-pocket expenses.
