I purchased a C-Class ( 3 years old ) and they sold me the vehicle with only 54% battery so some of the electrics are not working even though they told me the vehicle passed a 200 point check so you would expect the car to be in excellent condition. This is not even the problem , the real issue is to try to get it sorted !! The sales agent that sold me this car told me that if anything happened to the car I could take it to any local garage as long as they are VAT registered… that was the first lie … I have now been told I need to take the car to one of their centres - the closest to me is in Snodland ( 50 min away ) but surprise ! They only open Monday to Wednesday ! And no appointments available until February . The service from the after sale team is shocking !! It takes them between 5-10 working days to reply emails, when you call them they can’t do anything for you as whatever you ask has to always be checked my another team and they do not understand my needs. I took an extended warranty with them and I strongly advise everyone to not take anything extra with them. I bought this car the first week of November 2023 , I escalated this issue two weeks after and I still have not had a solution. Never buying a car with them again

CX21ZPM SKODA OCTAVIA HYBRID ESTATE Gear selector fault Rear right brake grinding and scored 1 key not working Container of fuel added yet zero miles I took delivery of the car on the Friday 15th December I did swerve the extra 3 year warranty at £1900 and I'm so glad I did because these jokers are absolutely the worst ! I was told both keys worked and a canister of fuel had been put in the car. On leaving the showroom the car read zero miles of petrol and zero miles of electric, but I did get to the fuel station. The brakes did sound very bad but I didn't know if this was what a hybrid was supposed to sound like. I woke next morning and had a look at the brake discs, looking through the wheel spokes , 3 were OK, one was badly scored and it was clear that the noise I could hear was a worn out brake pad grinding on the disk. It was at that point I found that only one key worked and a fault warning was on the dashboard of an overheating gearbox (upon startup) I tool the car back to the showroom on the saturday 16th December to be told no-one there could help me , i asked to see a manager and she changed the battery on the key and told me she would book the car in on monday and provide me with a courtesy car, and she would ring to confirm on Monday 18th December She never called. I did manage to get through to aftersales on the 12th attempt , the previous 11 attempts resulted in the phone line disconnecting before being answered, and a call to the only line in service, sales, Georgie, who was worse than useless refusing to help or connect me with anyone of any help , however on the 12th attempt to get in touch with after sales the phone did connect, and the person I spoke with was quite frankly rude and unhelpful. She told me to drive the car to kwik fit for a free brake check, but would not autorise any repairs if they were needed. So I travelled to the Leeds showroom after work and there I encountered no help either. I couldn't leave my car with them I couldn't leave my keys with them They wouldn't inspect the car And if I left the car on site , they couldn't be liable for its safe keeping , and no , they had no idea which manager I had spoken to on Saturday that had promised to get this mess sorted out. As the car not only has a metal to metal brake issue and also a gearbox issue , I consider the car undriveable, and had the vehicle recovered under the warranty in the interests of safety to my home address as the site could not guarantee the safety of my car to be roadworthy ,and not guarantee the safety of the car if left on site. I phoned after sales again today and asked them to book the car on under warranty for the repairs, yes of course, we could get you in on the 2nd January.(14 days away) WHAT ? what am I supposed to do over Christmas with no car , I'm terribly sorry sir there's nothing we can do. We are now in a position that I have no choice but to consider this car to be unfit for purpose and reject it on the grounds of safety. I have given big motoring world every opportunity to rectify these issues and now consider our transaction to be unrecoverable Now I wait for the next stage with an undriveable car and they have my money.lets see how long it takes to unwind this transaction , they say 2 weeks but ......

purchased a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque! on 3rd December 2023 for the sum of £13000 i put £4000 down payment and rest on finance and was agreed the car came with 3 month warranty.  To my amazement 24 hours later the engine management light came on!!!  Thought all your cars were checked thoroughly (thats what your salesman tell you!) so instantly i contacted BigAssist as advised by your Salesman and any issue will be dealt with immediately but was informed nothing could be done until 15th January!!! but we could get independent diagnostics and the report can be sent to warranty to approve which we did.  To my disgust I have received message from BigAssist confirming they will not authorise work for some reason DONT USE BIG MOTORING WORLD DONT BE FOOLED BY THEM

The customer service has been absolutely terrible. Purchased a car, which broke down after 4 weeks. 8 weeks later and we are still trying to get them to agree to repairing it or give us our money back. No empathy or help from any assistants. Refuse to let us speak to anyone higher up and take ages to get back to you or just don't when they tell you they will. We have had to do all the chasing and arrangements with garages etc. No help whatsoever.

Would never buy a car from here again. I was sold an absolute piece of rubbish. I’ve had the car less than two months and I’ve been back to the garage six times. They sold the car to me in a dirty state scratches all over it alloys scuffed to pieces had the car a week. My service light came on in my tire light came on and now my engine management light is on which I’m having to wait three weeks to see the mechanic disgusting company all they want is your money

Please do not buy from this company. I have brought many cars over the years and this is by far the worst after sales company ever ! I tried to make numerous complaints but they honestly don’t care . Make sure you 100% check that car over with a fine tooth comb . Do not believe the advert on their site as to what the car comes with … Spend your money else where - please . No formal complaints procedure , just email and hope someone bothers .

I was sold a car with 10 months mot left which i accepted...but once I got car home and checked through details it only had 3 months with advisories...I rang after sales to be told well you signed the forms ....the ones on a ipad they flash before you..lol So if you buy a vehicle from these check everything they say as they will clearly say anything to get a sale ...also keep away from extended warranty and other products they try to hard sell you, as alot cheaper warranty out there...you would think a big company like this would put 12 months mot on a new sale but the girl I spoke to [holly]...obviously didn't think customer relationship was worth anything now the sale was done....I bought the car from cannock branch.

I regret the moment I walked through the doors of this place. What a terrible company to deal with once things go wrong. If you like hassle, stress and having to get solicitors involved then go ahead a buy an ex lease car from this place. After just over 4000 miles the engine ceased and despite purchasing a 3 year extended warranty they said I that I wasn’t covered. Boy has it been a battle to get the car hopefully sorted (almost 4 months that I’ve had to manage without it), but having to get a solicitor involved to get to this stage is a joke. They force customers to make a review on trustpilot before they drive off, of course you’re happy then, but if and when the car goes wrong, well expect to be left to sort it yourself. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. The worst company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with

I bought a car in January from Big Motoring Word. We are now in November and this car has cost me £1600 in repairs. Yes, and this is with one a one year extended warranty. They fit inferior parts and avoid responsibility at all costs. After picking up the car and driving home the warning light came on. Nox sensor faulty and condensation in headlight. Replaced at BigMW which failed after a week, condensation issue ignored. I had the Nox sensor replaced by an independent garage with a manufacturers part. BMW would only cover part of the costs. The condensation issue eventually caused the headlight and control unit to fail. BMW extended warranty have said take it up with the garage that sold the car and BMW After Sales have said its too far after the purchase to deal with it. Not a company I would recommend. Avoid at all costs.

Trustpilot reviews Thanks for your review! Big Motoring World Your review is pending.Read more Tanya-Marie Baser 2 reviews GB Rated 1 out of 5 stars AVOID AT ALL COSTS-WARNING Avoid these guys like the plague! I purchased a Toyota Rav 4 from here and everything looked great at the time. Sales a little pushy but you get it with all car sales from my experience, nothing you can't handle yourself. Everything seemed to be running smoothly, test drove the car all of up and down about a mile of road (they wouldn't allow a motorway drive). On the day of collection and driving away I noticed the next day a grinding/scrapping noise when braking. More so when driving st low speeds but very sporadic. Called them straight away to report and was asked to get a free brake report and send in. So I did, but after a week no answer. I called to chase up as you do and was greeted with a very rude member of staff at the other end. I explained I've sent the report and since then I've noticed a leak also. Another report and check sent to them further entailed there was excessive wear and tear in brake pads and discs and was barely legal and were unsure how MOT was passed. Please bear in mind I am pregnant and used the car to drive my current young son around I became increasingly concerned and felt very unsafe to drive this. Again numerous emails sent and no one wanting to respond ot become accountable or offer to resolve. More calls and more rude behaviour from staff really for my back up at this point. I've just forked out for a new car and this should be a happy and exciting time, as it is for everyone when buying a new car, this was vastly becoming a nightmare. I then took to BMW complaints page on Facebook and was horrified thay every post seemed to be having similar experience and all with issues the same or worst then my own. By week 3 of no response or offer to resolve I was hell bent on not being stuck with a car, with repairs that should have already been resolved. They promise a full thorough check of the car which is rubbish as when I requested the proof of this ; low and behold it was not available! It was also sold as having a full service history but last service was 2 years ago at 18000 miles. It was on 42000 when purchased so another deception. I sought legal advice and CAB and they were amazing and gave all information that you have 30 days under consumer rights act for them to repair or refund the car. As they employ delay tactics so as your over your 30 days and are stuck with the car I went one higher and contacted finance company who were sensational! They were the only ones to apologise and take accountability for the distress this has caused me during my pennancy and agreed having seeing the faults the car was faulty and started the demand process which they have to follow under financial ombudsman. Low and behold once this was logged I miraculously started getting correspondence! but even this was bull**** I told them that previously I would have been happy to keep the car if they carried out repairs, but as they haven't before the 30 days I've decided to reject the car and go elsewhere. To be clear this had been put in writing 4 times yet them then took it upon themselves to book the car in and I receive an auto text and email telling me where to be and when; they actioned this without my consent and I have all the proof to show how sneaky they were. Then when I called them out on this they sent me at email on the day saying someone will collect the car 12:30 that day when the email came in at 12:35. Expecting me to drop everything when I was at a hospital appointment to check the stress they've caused me at a pregnancy scan which left me being admitted. They are impossible to be fair and reasonable about, have no remorse, empathy and customer service if I could give a minus star rating I would! I was not going to allow them to collect it knowing they could go ahead and do repairs which i hadnt authorised or worst make the car damaged thay i would be liable for. Everything was done through finance company who van be TRUSTED! it took a few more weeks but i did get my money back, all expenses I had to pay out for to show the faults were kindly reinbursed by the finance company. I would 100% use moto novo finance again but never have any dealings with big motoring world. Save your money time and sanity; this experience nearly cost me and my unborn child's life ! AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS. MANY PEIPLE IN SIMILAR SITIATIONS AND ARE LOOKING INTO TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THEM, don't say you haven't been warned! The reviews on Google are not genuine but paid for (ex-member of staff leaked this information)! if you want real reviews check out Big Motoring World complaints via Facebook.

Subject: Urgent Warning: Unethical and Misleading Practices of Big Motoring World I am writing to you with a sense of urgency to share my recent experience with Big Motoring World, as I feel it is my responsibility to warn others about their unethical and misleading practices. On Sunday, October 29th, my partner and I purchased a car from Big Motoring World, trusting the salesperson's assurance that the vehicle was in perfect condition and adhered to BMW standards. However, within a day of driving the car, warning lights started appearing and parts from the undercarriage started falling off while we were on the motorway. In our moment of distress, we immediately contacted the Big Assist helpline, only to be cut off repeatedly. After making numerous calls, we finally received a call back, but were told that they were unable to assist us. Stranded nearly an hour away from home, we had to temporarily fix the undercarriage ourselves using tape and drove the car to the nearest BMW dealership. To our dismay, we discovered that the car's warranty was invalid due to unauthorized modifications, which had not been disclosed to us by the salesperson. Moreover, these modifications also rendered our insurance coverage inadequate. This is a clear case of fraud, as we relied on the salesperson's assurance that the car had not been modified. Further investigation at a reputable garage confirmed our suspicions. The car had indeed been modified with non-BMW standard parts, and it exhibited damage to the front bumper, which had been poorly repaired with filler. In our pursuit of a resolution, we sent multiple emails with supporting reports and photos to Big Assist. However, their response was disheartening - they outright refused to refund our money. According to the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we have the right to a full refund in such circumstances, as the car is not fit for purpose and we have been misled. Nevertheless, Big Assist has reiterated their refusal to provide a refund in their most recent email to us today. This ordeal has left us deeply disappointed and frustrated with the company's lack of empathy and responsibility towards its customers. I implore you, to not consider utilizing the services of Big Motoring World. Their unethical practices, misleading claims, and lack of accountability make them an unreliable and untrustworthy company. I sincerely hope that by sharing my experience, I can save others from the distress and financial burden we have endured.

I was miss sold the paint protection product as a respray and told that it would be dealership quality. Having a car that's turquoise and having bought a product that's for touch ups only will have many dark green spots all over the vehicle and will stand out more, I would prefer knowing all this beforehand then up selling and causing issues later. No documentation for the product was given at the time and we just took it as face value, now I wonder about the other issues that may arise on the other products we purchased along side this, now I have to chase up all parties involved to try to resolve this when I should be enjoying what I have purchased, great customer service.

I purchased my vehicle at big motoring world and the staff at Wimbledon couldn’t be more helpful. However 4 weeks later after receiving my car that I purchase for 18k, a management engine light come on which was red, failure to the engine, it completely lost all power. I was on the 30th day and no one at big motoring world after sales team told me to bring the car back for them to assist me further, I needed to go to my warranty company. It’s been nearly 4 weeks without my vehicle and they are expecting me to pay out for some of the work. So it’s all lovely to start with but when something goes wrong they don’t want to help.

Car broke down within 24h, no support, potential fraud (Wimbledon) They misrepresented the purchase costs on the invoice. At purchase we agreed to pay £100 for their GardX water protection product, when viewing the invoice the full amount payable (car + warranty _ GardX) was the same, but they actually listed GardX as over £600. This will make it exceedingly difficult for us to get their useless warranty (see below) refunded in full (original quote was £1500, on invoice shows as 900). Avoid at all costs. Purchased a used car with their extended warranty for 3 years, during test drive tire pressure was low, asked them to fix this before getting the keys. They claimed it was fixed, less than 24h from purchase car tire pressure was low again, in addition the car would not start anymore due to battery issues. Car was jump/started the day after, only for it not to work again within another 24h. I found it absolutely impossible to speak with their after sales team: - The phone number disconnects as soon as I select to speak about a vehicle you purchased with aftersales - Their Live chat agents ask to call the number above and proceed to abruptly shut down the chat shortly thereafter - Their assist email has not replied in over 3 days, our car is unusable from less than 24h after purchase - The sales line agents, which connect almost immediately, are not able or willing to transfer to after sales care - We had to stay on hold over 20 mins to speak with a representative of their Extended Warranty, something they also expect the garage to do in order to approve any repair. They will not cancel the warranty on this phone line even though we are in the 14 day cool off period, asking us to contact Bigmotoringworld (which we cannot get through to). They will also not allow us to go to our car manufacturer garage as it’s “too expensive” Even before the purchase was complete, multiple members of staff pressured us to leave 5* reviews for them. Desperate to use the vehicle, we are now out of pocked to repair our 3 day old car an expect a lengthy battle to see any of our money (warranty, repair costs) back.

We purchased our 3rd car with BMW a Mercedes C220, we took their 3 year Big Assist warranty, which is in fact Warranty 2000, (one of the worst warranty companies on the market) it was sold as trouble free motoring, no unexpected high bills, only genuine parts used etc. this is a lie. after 4000 miles I had a fault with a Nox censor, Big Assist/Warranty 2000 would only cover an aftermarket part that they costed at £130 & half hour labour, (the Mercedes part is over £500) they didn’t cover the cost for the diagnostic to identify the issu or the programming of the censor, that is required. my total bill was over £700 were Big Assist/W 2000 paid £177. I contacted Big Assist/Warranty 2000, who blamed BMW, for wrongly informing me that only genuine parts will be used etc. I contacted BMW who responded with "due to yourself purchasing the vehicle on 18/09/2022 we are unable to assist further with replacement because of the time period since purchase. We don't assist further concerns outside of the first 6 months since purchase, so I apologise for this. The warranty company have based their authorisation on replacement based on an aftermarket or used component. The total authorisation they had given was £177. If you have further questions regarding this matter, I would advise contacting the warranty company directly due to themselves giving the authorisation". BMW sold me a 3-year warranty but after 6 months they take no responsibility, despite being sold as Big Assist Warranty!!!!
