I am with Virgin media for years. My account was getting to expensive. I phoned and I was told that the cheapest bundle they could give me was £59 pound. That was only a reduction of £20. I phoned today to cancel my package and it took 3 phone calls before I got to cancel it. I am going to talk talk which is £28 a month. The last offer I got from virgin was £37 pounds but that was after I phoned to cancel.

Virgin Media, I changed my package before Xmas, I decided the offer was good and I have not had a problem with their customer service, apart from unfortunately the staff seem to be reading from a script and do not understand all my lingo. The problem this time is my package included a small payment to 02 which I do not use or want. A couple of months into this new contract I am told 02 payment will increase! It’s all underhanded and as well as that the GVU service is diabolical. I can continue but it will be long and you all get my drift!

Pursued me to and a SIM to my TV and broadband account with the promise of 100GB which could be used abroad. I asked about fair usage policy but was assured the full 100GB could be used. When contact came through this was not true. Then spent 2 hours trying to cancel policy and I'm still not sure that they will not debt my account in Feb.

Virgin Media service has deteriorated in recent times.Very frustrating company to deal with when things go wrong.Engeneers don't even turn up.They bully people as well.Just cancelled your direct debit and treat them the same way they treat customers.Dont be bullied.Anonymous and angry.

We have been with virgin for 10 years. Every two years they put the price up and we stayed, mainly due to their internet being the best at the time and there being no real competitors. I have to be fair, their service worked 95% of the time perfectly (although when I used to play ps5 till late my internet would suit off at 1230ish every night for about 15 minutes, we never did find out why that happened?! However we got wronged by them recently, when I found out they would be putting the price up I called to see if it would affect us, I was told it wouldnt. Only to find out months later that we were paying £20 more! To be fair they had sent an email but this was later and we had already been told it was nothing to worry about. I called up, I was lied to by the adviser but after another phone call they did trying us. We have now put in our notice to leave when the contract is up in November. The fact we have been with them 10 years and the still charge is us such large fees is disrespectful! Ee on the other hand really look after us for such a long mobile phone contact! Virgin used to have a monopoly on the fastest internet but now they don't. We don't have any special packages except bt sport (we can get that for £20 a month with ee), we don't use the home phone and mum only watches Freeview and aids she pays for separately. Community Fibre offer 1gps speed internet for £20 a month, we have a freeview box and recorder, what's the point of virgin now? They offered us £52 which we would of stayed simply for the hassle of changing but now they have a great bit in all their contracts which says they will increase their fee every April inline with inflation and you cannot cancel! Be safe guys, ask these questions.

Basically virgin media sent a adapter I called the company, and after being on the phone the advisor said I will send a engineer, and is there any other issues we said that the wfi keeps cutting out and we are having problems with connection, the engineer turned up he sorted out the phone issue and did a check on our wfi ,he said that it was sorted, but after he left the issues had not been resolved at all, we called virgin media four times, and finally a person answered and we did everything she told us to do ,but it did not solve the problem, the call ended at 10.50 this morning and she said that she would call back within the hour, and it is now nearly three o'clock in the afternoon, and no one has got back to us so basically yet again virgin media does not stick to their promises

As I was moving house but my old property sale had fallen through I wanted to cancel my phone line and TV whilst keeping my broadband so I could monitor the property. But no they wouldn’t do that, if I wanted internet only I would have to take a new 18 month contract. How unreasonable can you get? I therefore had no choice but to cancel the lot. So I have saved a few quid and they have lost a few, not that they are bothered. But where they have lost is this customer who now has a grudge.

Virgin media is good with connectivity but their prices are ridiculous, they go up and up with no explanation why and they NEVER offer rewards, benefits or offers to existing customers 😠

My advice, stay clear of Virgin Media, Volt and their partnership with o2. I thought I had an 18month contract from my o2 shop for £22.99p + free set up. On the basis of this seemingly good deal I bought a mobile phone from them and a £10 monthly mobile phone contract which has been ok. When the broadband contract appeared on screen it was £25. 99p + £35 set up. That was'nt the worst of it as I started getting demands for £45 per month, paying 2 months up front + £35 set up. I visited the o2 shop to complain and they said that figure was a mistake and they would sort it out. Nothing happened, I phoned Virgin Media and was told that I must pay £45 per month. Over the month of August (2022) it seem that o2 have just sat on the fence over this. The contract I thought I had when I walked into their shop appears to have been a myth. Even paying more at £25.99 would not be so bad but Virgin Media just kept demanding £125,44p for 2 months up front + £35 set up charge. In the end I cancelled the direct debit that was due on 30/9/2022. I've now been offered another deal from Virgin Media for £29 per month with the verbal promise not to charge for the broadband which I've been using for the last 2 - 3 months. But my gut feeling is I do not trust them and just want to get shot of them and am faced £280 + cancellation fee + other charges.

Awful customer service, hanging up, refusing to help, when sent help they don't arrive, ignorance and annoying customers. But on the other side, when there broadband is working (50/50 chance) is quite fast in many areas

Basically I have been having a lot of issues with our account, and it needs sorting out, and I was supposed to have a important phone call this morning to sort out the issues out and sort out other problems but , as usual I have had no call from them , I am not very impressed with this situation or this company

Currently a 2 star only because internet is fairly reliable. Customer service is terrible and if you want to cancel be prepared for hours on the phone then some stuck up woman trying to ask you a 100 questions because she cannot understand why anyone would want to leave. They do not care at all about customer service and are only money grabbing in every way possible. New virgin 360 interface is horrific and a child could have designed better. In fact standard tv apps are now offering much more than they can so have no need for virgin 360 or the non existing phone line that we pay for. Try and login to the website to change your package and you get the sorry it’s not you it’s us error message that’s been like this for months.
