“Bought a soundmaster system from them which worked fine initially. Then after about 4 weeks the CD player started malfunctioning. They were fine about supplying a replacement and prompt about. It’s just made me a little wary of soundmaster systems.”

“The ordering process was very good. Buy CleverStuff kept me informed all the way. The product was very good for the money. My only criticism was with the courier they use. I paid for a delivery and booked a given date, and time. I therefore expect it delivered on that date. The courier delivered it one day earlier, which was not what I had requested.”

“we bought a kitchen under shelf radio, the delivery was soon on the door step, and was delivered on time. the radio seems to be all that we were looking for the tone is good but have yet to set all other things up .”

“Buy Clever Stuff offered an item with all the features I was looking for: DAB radio clock alarm with time projection and as I couldn't find one anywhere else I was very pleased. It was a present for my husband and he is very happy with it. It is a bit light and plasticity, but seems to be a well made item. Beware the added postal charge if you live in an outlying area. I was charged extra, but it was refunded without a quibble as y item was sent by Royal Mail and not couriered. Shame it was added at all, but overall great service and a very good item.”

Hello Fiona, thank you for your reviews. We're sorry on this occasion that your item flagged for delivery costs due to your location - we have in the last month been redressing some costs in certain areas, and this is one that slipped through the net due to the product's weight and size and your location. We have now amended this and we hope the refund found its way back to you quickly. With regards to general delivery, we often get queried in relation to additional charges for Lowland/Highland Scotland and other areas of the UK which is outlined in our delivery information on our website. Royal Mail is the only courier service in the UK that is bound to Universal Service Obligation for delivery to charge the same price wherever in the UK - however, that is of standard mail only, not larger parcel items (usually this starts at around 2kg+) through their Parcelforce service. All other private couriers are not restricted from charging how they wish depending on location. We use predominantly either UK Mail or Parcelforce, depending on cost and service provided from the relevant item, as we find them to be the best for price. Unfortunately it does mean sometimes some postcodes are banded together in a particular way, but as a small independent business we have worked extremely hard to get the fairest price on the fastest and most reliable tracked service possible, without customers in these areas paying over the odds. “Original purchase arrived well packed and on time. Had to return the item as audio quality was not as expected. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 was the minor niggle of having to pay £6 return postage as the reason for return was 'personal preference' and not for a faulty item.”

“The product was neat and easy to use. It has a DB radio for which I apparently have no signal! Otherwise it would have been top marks. Ordering and delivery was simple and efficient and I got the player when requested.”

“The Radio produces a fantastic sound, the quality of the product is also very high. Just a shame the gift voucher I received has a expired code, not sure why 'BuyCleverstuff' bother putting things like that in.”
