Bought an office chair from Kallevig. Received an email several months later saying it was not compliant with fire safety laws. Avoid at all costs.

I have just moved into my first flat and ordered the x3 Wishbone chairs plus Carrara Marble Dining Table. One of the chairs arrived damaged which was a shame, but Kallevig offered me a refund so I was willing to accept the sdamaged chair as it was still usable, just badly scratched. The table then arrived, however as it weighs 60kgs the original delivery man couldn't get it up my apartment stairs and so had to reschedule the delivery for when a second delivery man could attend. The table was in a box nailed shut and arrived without screws or an assembly pack, so I had to organise and pay for a handyman to assemble the table with his own tools and screws. Once assembled, we realised the marble was badly cracked down the centre. It was not only unuseable but unsafe. I called Kallevig and explained the situation. They offered me a refund, but wouldn't come and collect the table. I explained that I lived on the second floor on my own and had no way of removing the heavy table. They repeatedly told me there was nothing they were prepared to do about it and that I should be happy that they had refunded me the purchase price. I am left £200 out of pocket with a scratched chair and a broken table. I was so excited to furnish my new home, but have been left feeling cheated and ripped off by a funiture brand purporting to sell luxury goods.

I’m sorry to say I’ve not had a good experience with this company. Not only was the wishbone chair I purchased extremely uncomfortable but returning it has proven strangely difficult. I still haven’t received a refund and customer service won’t respond to my emails. I would never deal with this Kallevig again.

Ordered 4/19, cancelled the order on 4/22. Received a confirmation email. Still waiting for my refund of $1521. This is awful.

Chairs were due to arrive on 7th December as they were listed in stock. Arrived mid January and customer services said the were still in a container before then and the fact the were still listed in stock the whole time through to delivery was an IT error but never changed. The chairs arrived with a part missing which they will not do anything about. Customer service is non existent. DO NOT BUY FRÔ THÉ

Ordered x6 Wolfgang Chairs in June with an estimated 2 week delivery. 6 months later and these have not arrived. I have chased several times and I have been given no information about when to expect them. These are still for sale on their website with a 2 week delivery claim. Frustrated and concerned about my the possibility of losing my money.

This company refuses to act on repeated requests to stop text and telephone marketing and treats personal data with utter contempt. Beware, you may a buy a chair and then enter into a lifetime commitment of unwanted spam marketing. AVOID!

Terrible - will most certainly not order from this site ever again. Firstly I order items which im told will be with me in two weeks, only three weeks later without any update I contact them to find out myself it’s an additional 8 weeks. Despite the fact on the site it still today says two weeks! Then I order some new chairs which say are available for next day delivery to then be told it’s a further four days! This is completely unacceptable to offer false and inaccurate delivery dates on your site, followed by zero communication on any such delays.

I would review 0/5 stars if possible. Believe the reviews, this company should be avoided at all costs. The desk sent was not as pictured on the website. When contacting customer services (incredibly slow at responding) they state that "some table tops might vary" and that I received "Phase 2 Compliant MDF" (a hugely inferior and cheap bit of tabletop that was received very messy with some small damage. Customer services have no interest in providing any service to customers. I am offered to return my item back to the warehouse (to arrive within 30-days), but its incredibly heavy and needs to be returned to Ireland so it is so cost-ineffective to do so and they have delayed in contacting me that I am very short on time, so now I am stuck with the desk. When enquired if it is possible to pay extra for the correct desktop as pictured, the email is ignored. I would guess that it is no longer available, however, the marketing images and description on the website are not changed. Further, the continual "Sale ends in..." ticker on the website just resets daily! Another illegitimate marketing ploy. I will be seeking to take legal action against this company. DO NOT BUY FROM byKALLEVIG

Delivery took several months(!) and now have to arrange return shipment on my account as I don’t t have a use for the item anymore. Overall very bad experience, so not recommend!

Our chairs were not dispatched on time, the website said next day delivery and this wasn’t fulfilled even though delivery fees are extortionate. The courier sent an email telling us to expect delivery on a Tuesday. Waited in all day and they didn’t appear. They sent another email the next day to say it will arrive that day. Due to work commitments we were not home to receive the parcel, so they delivery driver took it upon himself to throw it over the garden fence. Goods in the excess of £500 just casually tossed over the fence. The company then sent us a picture to show us that it had been delivered. After making a complaint I was informed that they have had numerous issues before with this courier but rather than change them to prevent further issues to customers they were going to investigate?!? Not happy at all! I wouldn’t purchase from them again.

Ordered two chairs and only one was delivered. To try and get this resolved is ridiculous. I have to download, print and return an affadavit and then my claim will be investigated. Wouldn't bother

I have had bad customer experiences from time to time. We all have. Things happen. I'm not normally one to write negative reviews online.  However, when there's a series of negative experiences with one company demonstrating consistent poor quality goods, and poor customer service, I can feel prompted! I ordered a desk from their website. I knew there would be a lead time. However, 6 weeks later they email to say they never had the product they sold me but they'd be happy to send me a smaller one at no extra cost. Oh, thanks.  I insisted on the size I ordered.  So they scramble to find me something. Maybe the lowest quality they could source. It arrives with two areas of significant damage to the top, metal damage to the leg, a non-functioning connective rod and a plug socket with only one pin pointing in the right direction.  So of course I complain. Yes their portal system for complaints in annoying but it's not terrible. "Throw away the plug and the rod," I'm told. "We'll send new ones." Sure, great for the environment. They send me a plug from amazon. Wow. "Fix the damage yourself and we'll reduce the price a bit."  The new connective rod they send is bent and looks terrible. The desk top doesn't fit but "don't worry we sent you sticky pads." In short, I bought this desk "new" at significant cost and it looks like something I might have bought third hand from a dodgy guy at a market.  I've really never experienced anything like it. I was angry at first but now when I look at my ridiculous desk with its damage and wonky rod I find it quite comical. I don't want to underplay it with humour though. The company is terrible. Unless you have an extremely high tolerance for disappointment and a philosophical outlook I'd recommend using a more reputable company.

Worst customer service ever on top of a failed product - office chair with key part that shattered after just a few days. Avoid these guys - they are a really shoddy outfit

keep on getting promotion emails from this company email domain that my order was shipped and that soon I will be able to track it through GLS. I have never ordered anything from this company.

Ordered 2 office chairs, and they charge for delivery by the way and proceeded to delay delivery . In the end I cancelled my order on the 18th of January 2022 and still waiting for my refund. When I chat to them, they keep saying the refund was processed and the date keeps changing. Do not deal with these cowboys ! Still waiting for my refund.

Absolute pile of cr*p. bought an adjustable desk as it seemed like very good quality. 1. Top part arrived within good time, bottom part was then lost apparently. After 2 weeks, when I said I wanted to return top because they couldn't give me a suggested arrival time I was told I'd have to pay for return myself!!! They eventually conceded and agreed to send replacement legs which arrived within a few days. 2. In any case, top part had a massive dent in it once it arrived. 3. Legs eventually arrived but: 3a. one of the screw holes was defective so the screw won't go through it and metal stand therefore not entirely secure 3b. holes on underside of top didn't align IN ANY WAY with the legs. Was told that in order to get this fixed I would have to go through some laborious process involving making a video and sending everything back (no doubt at cost to myself). Deciding that it was easier to just make new holes myself, I did. And eventually attached legs to top. None of this should have impacted the adjustable mechanism. Table worked fine in terms of moving up and down. FOR 2 DAYS. Having not touched it over xmas (about 8 days) I have gone to start work and the mechanism is no longer working. Have tried resetting, and followed all advice for troubleshooting. And the power pack just clicks. Personnel working for ByKellevig perfectly pleasant, but the product is a pile of nonsense. I am soooooooooooo disappointed. Now I have what is effectively a standing desk and completely the wrong height and a sore bank balance. total and utter nonsense.

Really avoid this company! The small print says you have to pay for return to uk depot which is in Ipswich! For me that is £150 to return a £700 table. Delivery was a nightmare. And they do claim you can’t damage delivery box if you want to return - even though the one I had already had been resealed.
