About Cancer Care Parcel:

After Dr Shara Cohen was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 she found there was very little time to just relax, take it all in and give herself ‘me’ time.

With all the appointments, liaising with work, telling the people who needed to be told…… there was little time to digest what was happening, research the practicalities or to just relax.. So she set up Cancer Care Parcel, to enable children and adults with cancer to take some of the worries away and bring some calm back into their lives.

A Cancer Care Parcel is an ideal gift, to let people with cancer know that you are thinking of them

“Thank you for this opportunity. I was in a hurry to help a friend when I ordered the ginger candy for her. I did not realize until I had completed the order that the shipping for a small package of candy that cost $4.99 was $39.00. This shipping cost seems unreasonable. I immediately sent an email off to request that the order be canceled but there was no response. Rather I ended up spending $44 for 150g of ginger candies. Very disappointed.”

We did actually contact you as soon as we realized what had happened, we had already dispatched the item so gave you a full refund PLUS the item for free. I was surprised to see this negative review. Please contact us privately if we can do anything else for you

“Over priced for the content within the parcel. This was a present for a relative recently diagnosed with cancer. The thought for this person was more important so it was decided to retain the parcel for the intended use. This parcel would have been returned based on the poor value for money. Would not be recommended should I be asked.”

“The gift arrived without any problems and the person it was sent to greatly appreciated it. My only complaint is the cost of shipping - which was almost half the cost of the gift! Since then I have found other options with free shipping allowing me to actually buy more gifts more often for my cancer patients.”
