“Like so many other reviews, I too asked for a single $39.99 report and got billed $99/99. I placed 3 complaints through their web site and got no reply other than a computer-generated note that they would get back to me. THEY DIDN'T. To make matters illegal, they sent a phony billing to my credit card company which contradicted the billing I have from them. Credit Card Companies will back the merchant's claim if they submit a billing, even if it was deliberately falsified. Stay away from them. There are other, more credible companies which don't advertise as much but are more honest and customer-friendly.”

“I purchased a 2017 Nissan Sentra with extremely low miles at the Auto Nation off of Hacks Cross in Memphis, TN the very next day!! “The dealer supplied a CARFAX, but I bought one of my own. The report said my car was pristine. Over the next few weeks, starting on the drive home, I uncovered a steady trail of evidence my car had been wrecked. A little over $2000 in repair and replacements later, my car is now in pretty good shape. CARFAX is to be believed with a great deal of caution. To be fair, the former owner never reported an incident, and got some cheap cosmetic repairs to make the car presentable, avoiding a damaging CARFAX report.”

“As a carfax customer for 16 years, this company cares nothing about the dealerships that spend thousands of dollars a month with them. No customer service whatsoever for an overpriced report. Autocheck saved us $4000 a month. Only wish we’d have switched sooner!”

“Purchased a used 1976 Triumph TR6 from Boca Classic Motor Sports. The car was delivered within a week from the time the funds were transferred. I love the car. “There was no question as to the evaluation from Carfax as to what real dealers were selling their cars for rather than the ones that marked up their cars with accidents. It became a valuable tool in deciding which dealer to work with and which car is worth quality.”
