I returned to peter vardy as my last experience buying my previous car was great however this time was completely different. The initial sale was fine but as soon as I bought the car it was very difficult to get ahold of anyone. None of my calls were being returned and no one phoned me for a follow up call which I was told to expect. My appointment to pick up the car was 5pm and I wasn’t actually seen until 5:50pm. Ridiculous amount of time to wait considering the actual handover took no longer than 10-15 mins. Then when I seen the car it was not to the standard I was told I would receive it. There were some issues with the car so I went back into the store before driving it away and made them aware. I was told I would receive a call later that night or following day and I didn’t receive any calls. I tried on numerous occasions to contact the store, leaving messages to be passed on to them and I still received no contact. I ended up needing to visit the store again 3 days later to complain as I was left in the dark not knowing when my new car was going to be repaired and no one was returning any of my calls. I also asked the salesman for a final price of the car with no hidden admin fees etc however he did not take the deposit into consideration so I ended up paying that twice and I’m still waiting for it to be credited to my account. The customer service I received this time was atrocious and I would not recommend anyone to go to peter vardy, very disappointed with the way I was treated, it seems to me they were only interested in the sale for month end and they didn’t care afterwards when there’s been issues with the car. In fairness the only positive I can say about my experience is when I went back into the store the woman in aftersales was very helpful as was the salesman that sold me my previous car. I now have a booking to go back and get the car fixed next week.

Eventually got my car only to find all Sd cards had been removed so no satnav or anything in the car disappointed if im honest . Darren did try to help me with getting the car on time

To begin with the whole experience has been nothing but a disaster and trouble. Service manger George has no communication skills what so ever and doesn’t know how to deal with his customers appropriately. Thankfully for mark and Harry they managed to make the experience a little more pleasant.

On the whole my experience at Peter Vardy Glasgow was a positive one. We were offered tea/coffee almost immediately then shown to the area of the showroom where our preferred type of vehicle was on display. Every effort was made to find a car within the stock which was good. The only negative was that there seemed to be some miscommunication regarding my personal number plate. Each side thought the other was arranging its removal. Clearer verbal instructions would have been good. As a result it took almost a fortnight to pick up my car.

Jodie Boyle was absolutely fantastic in her role, a total gem 5 out of 5 stars, helping us choose the right cars and the right finance deals for us. She kept us informed all the way through the process and beyond. The actual length of time for getting the cars was long, over two weeks in total. But the quality control was abysmal. Both cars had numerous faults on the day of collection including a car that stank like an ashtray, seriously whoever moved that into the showroom must have smelt it. Quality control truly let you down. Poor Zoe Clay on our collection day had to deal with two very disgruntled customers, after having to wait 5 hours beyond our initial collection time and having to wait for one of the cars to be taxed. If it wasn't for her professionalism, mediating skills and honesty I think we would have walked away from the deals. 5 out of 5 stars for Zoe. And then poor George Ewart who has had to pick up the pieces of the abysmal quality control. He has been very professional, very honest and very diligent. The cars have been booked in to have all the remedial work carried out due to his quick response and professionalism. Again for George Ewart 5 out of 5 stars. We loved our last experience with Peter Hardy 3 years ago but did not enjoy it on the whole this time round. Your quality control has been abysmal. We never saw the cars until we collected them as they were off site and I know they are second hand cars but surely when they were being prepared to be handed over someone must've questioned themselves as to the condition

Flashing lights and dreadful blaring music nearly had us out of there while the salesperson was away. Awful environment . Also car wasn’t going to be ready as assured , had to email peter vardy to make it happen

Car was late getting delivered couple of issues number plate not fixed properly not valeted good enough wheel arch was very scratched

Handover was not prepared. Waited for an hour and thirty minutes. No manual or service book in car but is now getting sorted. Sales advisor was very helpful.

My initial visit was after I received a call from the retention team. They got my interest and I decided to come in and see what was available. The details of the call suggested I was going to be expected at 430pm and I even received a 2nd call just before to confirm what time the team should expect me. However when I entered the store no-one had any idea that I was coming in. So I had to explain the situation to the receptionist and then again to the salesman once a free salesman was found. Not sure what the point of making out that I had an appointment was just to turn up and not be expected. After that the service I received was excellent, Connor was very attentive. On delivery day I was asked to come in at 5pm to pick up the vehicle and then I had to wait about half an hour just to be seen. I appreciate the work involved in getting a car ready for pick up. However if you know when clients are coming in to pick up their new car, why isn't there more work done before the client shows up at the agreed time.

The sales team were excellent especially Paul who gave me a great deal. He is an asset to the Vardy organistion. The problems started when I came to collect my car at 11am. The finance people did not have the finance sorted and I was sent away around noon for an hour or so. On returning near 13:30, I was told that it would be fixed shortly but as the hours went by and being fobbed off at regular intervals along the way and also asked to return the next day! I finally took possession of the car shortly after 16:00 after threatening to walk away. I'm affraid I cannot recommend Carstore to anyone as the finance should have been in place either night before or first thing in the morning of collection. After all it was 6 days you had to arrange it. 5 stars for sales guys but 0 stars for the finance folk.

Takes forever for someone to answer the phone The car I bought was dirty inside and a repair wasn’t done before collection Would not recommend to a friend

Sales process by Jamie no problems but like a lot of companys after sales service not so good kept waiting 40 mins for car pick up ,ended up rushing it in the end as had to rush off.so 2 stars off other wise it would have been 5.

The salesman was great, however there was a lot of waiting about (even after the price display issue was resolved). We were paying cash and made it clear we had just sold a car and had the cash ready to go but the sales manager choose to offer us a 'deal' on a finance agreement which just seemed weird as we were cash buyers. I was hoping for a deal on the price or some extras (mats ? dashcam ?) but got nothing and the price didnt budge an inch. Nice environment and nice salesman though.

Not too happy waiting for almost an hour to pickup the car. Seemed quite sexist as several male sales people had little to do and the women did the admin/handover. We were not kept informed as to the reason for the delay just left to our own devices until we asked what the problem was.

As we were picking up car noticed that it was in my name. When we first came in said it would be my daughter's name on car mine on finance as she is 17. Wasn't a problem... this definitely a training issue

Salesman delivered on promise of mending bodywork prior to purchase. On the day of picking up the car I was waiting a long time before the paperwork etc was finalised. This would've been a 4 or 5 star if I hadn't needed to fix something with the car myself.

Indifferent would be a better word, I don't think I'll be back, the sales advisor was good but was let down by customer services not backing him up.. They were terrible.. Really terrible. So apart from Michael the sales advisor.. The rest... Well like I said don't think I'll go back.
