For the astronomical amount of fees they charge, they should cater to the dealers like crazy, however, it is a total cluster trying to pay, get the vehicles and a complete waste of time to do something that should be so simple. It should be, go there, look at units you want, bid on them, write a check and load up your purchases and go home.

I HAVE BEEN RESEARCING A TITLE FOR OVER 4 MONTHS SPEAKING TO AT LEAST 3-4 DIFFERENT REPS AND HAVE BEEN GETTING NOWHERE, FUSTRATION HAS BEEN BUILDING BUT FINALLY AFTER SPEAKING TO MICHELLE MORENO A COPART REP, ON 6/10/22 SHE ASSURED ME THAT SHE WILL GET THIS MATTER HANDLED FOR ME, EVEN THOUGH I AM STILL WAITING SHE MADE ME FEEL AS IF SHE REALLY UNDERSTOOD ME AND WOULD TAKE CARE OF THIS. SHE GAVE HER DIRECT CONTACT INFORMATION SHE ASKED ME TO GIVE HER A FEW MORE WEEKS.

Try to take delivery in a timely manner DOES NOT EXSIST any longer, I been buying from copart over 30 years and it never was like this as it is now, 6 HOURS waiting for something that use to be less than a hour to pick up your purchase. Every since copart started with this "phone app" B S like were a bunch of grade school kids or wash women whos world revolves around their F**king phones. I no longer can find a transport hauler who wants to haul from copart and the ones who do bends you over because THEY HATE COPART PHONE APP BULL SH*T taking up to 2 days to pick up a vehicle. The one one happy about taking this long is copart because they get storage every day for something that use to take only an hour

Inside people running the auction prices up on the vehicle available is ridiculous.. Expensive fees.. 100% Ripping the General public off with mostly privately stuck together cars.. pictures don't show really most of the damage properly.. no history checks available and 50% have been listed as insurance damaged beforehand.. Another company allowed to robbery of the normal people.. Cheers nigel copart member for 10 years plus. Spent 100000s of thousands of pounds. Is really difficult to get a refund when you have been ripped off blatantly

WORST AUCTION EVER.THEY ARE BULLIES. NEVER TRUST PICTURES. YOU BID BASED ON PICTURES BUT THEY TRY TO HIDE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND I'M SAYING THIS AFTER MAKING MULTIPLE PURCHASES AND EVEN COMPLAINING TO THE MANAGEMENT, THEY KEEP DOING THE SAME THING. THEY WANT TO MAKE INSURANCE HAPPY BY GETTING THEM MORE MONEY. THEY DON'T GIVE A CENT ABOUT CUSTOMERS.THIS IS THE ONE PLACE THAT I PROMISE YOU THAT CUSTOMERS COMES LAST AND THEN EVERYTHING ELSE. THEY WON'T EVEN TRY TO MAKE ANYTHING RIGHT. ITS BASICALLY TRANSLATE INTO IF YOU BUY HERE, YOU ARE ON OUR OWN AND YOU ARE SCREWED. ITS MORE LIKE THEM TELLING YOU, BUY IT OR DON'T, DONT BOTHER US OR GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Copar is more like a legalized scamming company, you bought a car due to the details they provided on their sites as run and drive vehicles but you got junks after buying they are the only auctions that doesn’t provides a videos of Thor vehicles running, bought 4 vehicles as running but all were not running…..PLEASE IF YOU WANT SINCERITY IN DETAILS DONT BUY FROM COPART , you tried to call the yard manager for complains and concerns about your purchase not available to hear your concerns

After subscribing for Copart basic subscription, which is refundable (and you get the money wired back), i was told my documents could not be verified so i decided to cancel the plan the days after opening the account and get my money wired to me. That was when i was informed, "We charge a $35 wire fee to wire funds back to international members.". When i mentioned this was never stated anywhere and my account was an American one, Then i was told, we do not refund into the card you used to pay and do not do wire transfer for card transactions but only send cheques to an American address. When i provided an American address, they went silent. This is a ploy to frustrate customers and keep the money for refunds. I have sent them several email asking for my money back but i just seem to be mailing myself at this point because they just want to keep the money

Bought a "Run" "Drive " car with a clean title and it looks like about 7k of work to get it up and street legal. Catalytic Converters were gone and bunch of problems that it should've been a salvage. Unfortunately I paid a higher price for a car that would drive. It will be cheaper for you to by one that you can inspect on auto trader or something like that, unless you are a mechanic. I would have given zero stars if it was an option. Run away very fast !! It will give you months of heartache

Absolutely horrible customer service. Paid for a premium membership, put a deposit to bid, bid on a car, won, paid, paid for shipping. Two days later (Saturday Morning) I try to log in to check the status of the car I had won and paid for and my account was suspended. I tried to call but no one could help until Monday morning. Because of this the car cannot ship until it is resolved. The card I had opened the account with the year before had expired and a new card was sent to me etc.. All of the above items were paid for with the new card, I now had over $7k charged to my card and which they had no problem charging me for even though the now claimed the suspected fraud because a new card had been used. They informed me the Accounting department had flagged my account and placed an additional fee because of this ($200) yet I could not talk directly with them. Over the next four days I called 6 different times, sent multiple emails with pics of the card and ID and talked to a different person each time all saying slightly different stories on what was going on. I was basically told it was being done to protect me? Holding my money and the car and adding additional fees does not protect me in anyway. If they had said they did not charge the card it would have been at least somewhat reasonable. After one week of them having the $7k and not allowing the car to ship I ask for either my money back or preferably ship the car (which is paid in full). They said they could not refund my money. About an hour later I received an email that the car was being relisted for auction. I call again and find out they could not refund the card but could sent me a check for most of the money but I would need to pay for shipping of the check. Over one week later I received the check. The process cost me several hundred dollars and hours of my valuable time on the phone. I would be very cautious of this companies policies and realize they do what they want and will not allow you to talk to the people making the decisions.

Buyers service is pathetic we have never had a lisence expired and we are a premier buyer. They notified us that their copy of a dealers lisence was out of date so we had delivered copies of current license to the location a mile away. We continued to purchase vehicles the we noticed we were charged sales tax and moved to a buyers fee list that was same as individual members. 4 vehicles taxes and fees over our regular amount over 3000 which they said they wouldn’t refund the overcharged fees even though they had in their possession our current licenses prior to these purchases. They said the taxes would be refunded that was august of last year still nothing. The fact that you can’t talk to any heads of their financial departments to make your case all is submitted and forwarded to that person and wait for an answer all of which takes forever. They just keep putting you off hoping the issue gets old and you get screwed out of the money .

Bought a car advertised as minor dents/scratches and normal wear as damage and runs and drives. Even when they agree to refund they continually lie. That's almost a month now I'm without the funds.

Their vehicles are often misrepresented and hide damages, are sold as running when they do not run, and their dealer fees are high with additional charges for EVERY possible thing including gate fee, bid fee, payment fee, storage fee, etc. DO NOT USE COPART.

SCAMMERS / Copart has 2011 Altima listed as normal wear and tear in auction today Jan 6 - 2021 listed as runs & drives it does NOT.. I sold this car for junk last week for $900 Transmission BAD. It may move 2 feet but you will never get off the lot. Car does look in almost perfect condition. Who sells a good running car to a junk yard ? NO ONE. Run Forrest Run

Unfair and dishonest company. Copart bends the law selling membership which is refundable following Consumer Contracts Regulations which came into force on 13 June 2014 and implement the Consumer Rights Directive within a cooling period. They refuse however to refund a membership online purchase where the law states we have a right to opt out within 14 days. According to Copart people who pay the fee are not consumers. Following other comments about them there is only one advice - AVOID!

Besides as many stated here, it does not have customer service, thi sis just the TOTAL SCAM place. Avoid it at any cost. They are selling damaged vehicles, with indication these are in "RUN and Drive" condition, while these vehicles could never be in run and drive conditions after accident. There are tons and tons such reviews, thousands of court cases regarding this, this company should be admitted as total fraud. and go out of business. If you read this, spread out this information across, only this way would will be able to save other people from this monster.

I bid on a 2005 PT Cruiser convertible where the damage listed was"side damage" and "rear end damage" and scratches, but "runs and drives". Before I got too carried away by auction fever, I visited the location and inspected the car. Staff was very cordial, and loaned me a car starter pack to start the car. Engine ran good and so all looked ok. Then I noticed that there were strut springs on the passenger floor and I wondered where these came from. The rear end of the car was down on the axle, and it was obvious that someone had taken the struts off and stole the cartridges and left the springs on the floor. I compared the "sag" at the rear of the car to the listing pictures and it is obvious that the listing pics show the rear of the car on its suspension as per normal and the actual condtion showed a suspension tampering that left the car undriveable. I alerted the store manager that I wanted my bid cancelled based on the stolen parts. This theft could only have been done by those with access to the car after the listing; namely employees. My bid was cancelled, and the car re-listed with new pics but the same description of damage as before- no mention of suspension damage. This is for the next guy to figure out I guess. Is this ethical behavior? Do we expect this kind of "catch us if you can" treatment at Lowes or Home Depot? I have bought cars from Copart in the past with good results. This experience made me read other reviews, and I think its best for me to stay away in the future from this operation, based on this non disclosure of problems with this car. Would you like to be the buyer of this surprise??
