“Copart are absolute crooks and I have no idea how they are still allowed to be trading in the UK. They should be prosecuted. After the final bid, they added on all of their additional fees for 'whatever they like' and 'forget' to mention all of the issues with the car that they listed on the auction so what you actually get is nothing like what you think you bought. If you are mad enough to buy anything from this company, don't believe a word on the auction and assume that the car is completely f***ed. Don't buy anything from them without seeing it in person, they lie on the listing and when found out they don't care and offer to resale the car for you at a cost of £250, but now they will describe the car with all the faults you found making the car near worthless. Absolute scam. If you are stupid enough to buy from them, and everyone can be stung once, just wait till you try and complain. They don't care one bit, their customer service is a joke and you'll be phoning up for updates for days and days. I wish I'd read the reviews before buying a car from them, seriously one of the worst experiences I've ever had from a UK company. My next stop is Trading Standards to ask them to be investigated.”

“This company is trying to auction my 2007 Shelby GT500 that is in storage and won't return phone calls or cooperate with my Insurance Company. Please don't do business with them and stay clear. Only 1/3 of their customers recommend them. Probably people that work there.”

“Item was totaled for flooding, but the listing indicated the unit "runs and drives". Coparts does not guarantee the vehicle will run and drive when picked up, but they do represent that they started and drove the vehicle. When I got the vehicle to my shop, I found the oil pan and cylinders filled with water. It would have been impossible for Coparts to have started and drove the vehicle. I challenged Coparts on the integrity of their listing, they said it was my fault for not properly inspect before I purchased. I told them they falsely represented the vehicle, they said it's my word against theirs....too bad.”

“Do not but please they strip the rv I bought down to nothing , when I got it I was so hurt but what can I do, it a lemon the insurance company that savaged it was progressive , I will never do that again sight unseen please check it vehicle first , they act like crooks”

“This company dumped a wreck of a car which was nothing to do with me fully over my driveway. They refused to help me and I was basically told I’d have to pay to remove it. Lovely for a struggling mum. Stay clear from this awful company”

“Copart is a scam. Won a bid for 1500$ ended up paying 3500$ and I can’t cancel it or I’ll have to pay 1200. Biggest scam ever don’t trust this website IAA is 100x better Copart is no good will definitely not be buying from them ever again thanks for my 3500$ Honda Civic that’s only worth 2500 Copart!”

“Just trying to deliver paperwork for insurance reasons. Completely ignored for 15 minutes not even eye contact. After waiting all that time somebody finally looks at me says "there's a virtual line you need to go out and get on it." As though every business in the world has a virtual line you're supposed to check in on before you get there. If I want to be treated like s*** I'll visit my family. No professionalism and extremely Petty.”

“I gave Copart a deposit they said it could be refunded in 1 -3 Bussnes Days . Not true, it’s been 3 weeks and I’ve been getting the run around and nobody’s been helpful, now they say we will send a check in 30 days , I never would have given them that money if I knew they were this shysty, they just don’t want to give refund. And keep making up reasons….So don’t believe them when they say it’s easy.It’s not .i never bout a car and don’t have any fees, just out of my 500bucks🤬 I guess I just keep calling, and begging , and calling and begging. Don’t get screwed like me . Hope this is helpful”

“For the astronomical amount of fees they charge, they should cater to the dealers like crazy, however, it is a total cluster trying to pay, get the vehicles and a complete waste of time to do something that should be so simple. It should be, go there, look at units you want, bid on them, write a check and load up your purchases and go home.”

“I brought my boss here because GEICO instructed us to bring her paperwork. The women inside were extremely Rude to us. They ignored us because we were unfamiliar with their process, and when we tryed to explain this to them they were Extremely Rude in the way they talked to us..... What ever happened to Customer Service??? Not everyone understands the process in which each company conducts business. Stop talking down to customers because we don't know how to scan your QR Code and stop ignoring customers and talking down to us because we are not as "Tech Savy" as you would like. When they did finally sign us in, they talked to us like they were doing us a favor by helping us.”

“Woodhaven, MI CoPart…They wouldn’t open the door for us (they were open with three customers, no limit in waiting area, they just looked at us through the glass door/wall), Horrible customer service (rude, dismissive, etc.). I asked about previewing available cars and was informed that I had to pay $59 to be a member, but she never told about the free guest membership.”

“I was involved in an accident that totalled my car because I was rear ended on the freeway. Mind you, there is damage to the bumper because of that, but the back windshield was not busted, their people did that! I went to the yard assigned through my insurance, which was Copart Auto Auction located at 7519 Woodman Ave. Van Nuys, California 91405 1509 My car was delivered to them around May 24th. I called ahead to let them know I will be coming in to get the remainder of the stuff out of my car. I came in on May 31st. I already felt upset knowing my car was at a yard along with other junk cars where I felt like it didn't belong because it meant so much to me. It was my first car I purchased. I was waiting for what felt like 30 minutes in an office filled with at least 10 people busy on their computers ignoring people with no hello or welcome greeting at all. To top it off, I only had 2 people in front of me. When I was finally noticed, a lady named G was playing stupid about my car not being there or them not being able to find it. Luckily, I have a low jack on my car and was able to show her that it was indeed there. Down to the exact date, and time it arrived, and where exactly on the lot it was located. Her demeanor quickly changed and she got scared and panicked when she found out I could track it. When they finally located it and brought it around for me to see. To my horror, it had been vandalized, the back windshield shattered with some glass inside the trunk, and some of my property was stolen. They took my tools, stole the spare tire, tire rod, ripped out my trunk subwoofer, and destroyed all of my custom seat covers. I just wish I had a camera to catch who did it, but then again, those greedy rogues would have stolen that as well! I am already in the process of trying to heal my physical wounds, but now thanks to this trash company and the people that run it compounding my pain, I have emotional wounds as well. Going back to the lady at the front desk that goes by "G". She was so cold hearted. When I told her what I had just saw from my car, she was very nonchalant about it. When I was trying to gather what little property I could salvage, she had the nerve to ask me do I know what type of car I want to get next, like my current one didn't mean anything to me. I put my blood, sweat, in tears into maintaining my car and making sure I stay on top of the payments, all without any help from anyone. When I asked her, is this how you guys treat people's property, she didn't say anything, but give me a blank soulless stare. I hope whoever reads this knows that what I am saying to be the truth and that you do not support this terribly run business. I hope these numerous complaints will give them a wake up call. If everyone cares to check, look up Copart on the BBB website, their headquarters is in Dallas, 14185 Dallas Parkway Suite 400 Dallas, TX 75254 they are NOT an accredited business. Their rating is very low on there as well to the point where they have so many complaints Better Business Bureau can't show them all. To the owner or whoever responds to these complaints, don't bother giving me the same generic response you give to all the other people that complain on here. You can keep your two cent opinion because you probably need it, just like your people kept my tools and subwoofer, which one of them probably installed in their car because their sound system is trash just like your company and the people that work there.”

“STAY AWAY FROM COPART. Do NOT make business with Copart. STAY AWAY FROM COPART. Horrible customer service. I bought a vehicle from Copart Mebane, NC, they lost the title and I had to wait almost 3 months to receive it. No body cared about this (no even an apology) and all they kept saying was that they had to orden a copy of the title and that there was nothing they could do about it (with the most absolute lack of interest). On top of that the car was broken, proved that they did it while moving the vehicle, but they did not seem to care about this either. I had the worst experience with Copart. After so much back and forth they agreed to reimburse for the repair cost. We agreed that they would reimburse this amount to my bank account, but they did not do it as agreed and instead they added the credit to my Copart account (I do not want to make more business with them). When I called back, the manager (the person I had been in contact for the last 3 months about this matter), said that he couldn’t cancel this credit and mail a check and at this point, there was nothing he could do to help me. I felt like nobody cared about my situation during the whole time and getting a response was a hustle. This make me wonder, if they deposited 100k in my account, by mistake, there is nothing they could do about it? Stay away from Copart. The worst experience. Horrible customer service, specially Copart Mebane, NC.”

“Try to take delivery in a timely manner DOES NOT EXSIST any longer, I been buying from copart over 30 years and it never was like this as it is now, 6 HOURS waiting for something that use to be less than a hour to pick up your purchase. Every since copart started with this "phone app" B S like were a bunch of grade school kids or wash women whos world revolves around their F**king phones. I no longer can find a transport hauler who wants to haul from copart and the ones who do bends you over because THEY HATE COPART PHONE APP BULL SH*T taking up to 2 days to pick up a vehicle. The one one happy about taking this long is copart because they get storage every day for something that use to take only an hour”

“bought a 09 cadillac escalade in detroit mi- woodhaven car said it runs and drive when forklift sat it down for me to take possesion after i paid 5133$ it did not go into gear went back in where i paid the same day was told no refund through emails fromtayler bernard and logan kilbride dont buy cars in detroit from copart”
