OMGGG COPART HAS GONE NEXT LEVEL GREEDY...TOO MUCH GREEDINESS WILL KILL YOUR COMPANY!!! Reported!! Premium numbers for calling, uneducated and rude staff who hang up after 50mins of average waiting times, just found that membership prices has increased by another £10 and that "memberships are renewed on calendar year basis" instead of normal (so I will have to pay for full year of membership although I am joining in JUNE) So you cannot currently see the vehicle due to covid and are bidding blindly on things where description is incorrect in most cases! not to mention the loading fee, online bidding fee, highways jacket fee, late fee, storage fee, and many other ripping-off fees all for the sake of a mangled car which I bought listed as "starts and drives" but when it was delivered IT DID NOT EVEN HAVE AN ENGINE!!!!!!!!!! COMPREHEND THIS!!!! and on top of that when I rang to complain the lady on the phone said "there is nothing she can do and I'll have to deal with it myself"...I am writing a letter to trading standards and Prime Minister and few other people to close down this company and make auctions highly regulated for customer safety...you should write the same letter.

I had bought 2 cars from copart. One from Rochford and another from sandtoft. Bmw m4 advertised as run and drive . Bought it for 25000 and the engine is faulty. Lost a huge amount on buying another engine. Another ford fiesta advertised as stolen recovered actually a category c car. Paid about 5000 but the actual value is 500 . Spoke to manger and head office they never accept complaints and never look into it. Please avoid this company

Runs and drives Scam. Absolutely disgusting from copart. Bought a car over auction in May and paid £3.2k. The car was advertised as runs and drives however, I decided to sell the car back on the auction and it didn’t achieve the price i wanted so I asked copart to deliver the car to my address. To my surprise when I called Rochford yard they said the car is a non runner and hence need parking instructions. I was shocked and stressed that how can a car become a non runner from a runs and drives and they said it was always a non runner car and their team made an error. I used member services my member if 672515 and the lot that i won was 46154663 but support team has been rubbish. These scammers have held money from last 3 months i wish worst on this company and feel so helpless people be careful and never ever bid and use this scam.

Copart have had my car for 11 weeks. See you in court. You say while your car is in our care , but then you damage it when we want it back. Police have photos of the undamaged car when you had it. Ombudsman have given me a case number. Court time. You just need to avoid these scammers. Plus you stole items from my car.why ?????

BE AWARE!!! Recently won the auction for Lot # 60222969, have all the details downloaded including pictures of vehicle. The auction ended yesterday (06/04/20), and that was the auction without "sellers reserve" or "minimum bid". Bought this vehicle for £2,550. Few minutes later, Copart sent me another information that i can buy this vehicle for £3700? Copart did try to make me pay more,Copart did not accept the result of the auction, they cancelled my won vehicle and relisted today (07/04/20) for another 8 days. THIS IS COMPLETELY DISHONEST, AVOID!!!

IF I COULD GIVE MINUS STARS I WOULD. Coparts were given my vehicle by Kinderton's. Kinderton's work on behalf on my insurance company in the event of a claim. My vehicle was taken from Cardiff by coparts and kept in a storage unit in Bristol. However Coparts employees have caused damaged to the front bumper which is now rusting causing more and more damage daily due to the weather, used 1/3 of my petrol (returned it to me on red/light on) and ragged my car around their yard for 31 miles. It was returned to me a month later, original damage still visible and new damage caused by coparts (i have the before and after photos from kindertons and my own photos to prove it and kinderton's have agreed my car was not returned to me with just the original damage, it was now damaged even more which was unacceptable), no petrol (i didnt even know if i had enough to drive it to my nearest petrol station) and the inside of my vehicle covered in mud - all up the doors inside of the doors, on the seats all over the foot mats, it looked like it had been involved in the flooding), yellow writing all over my windscreen and all the water for the washers had gone. My car was not fixed due to a dispute with the original TP claim, so i understand that, however i do not agree with more damage being caused by copart and them returning my vehicle to me in a worse state than what it went to them with. Be careful who your insurer uses to store your vehicle whilst your repairs are going on. I live in cardiff, my car was towed all the way to bristol to this terrible salvage company. if i could upload photos on here of the damage coparts have caused i would. They are refusing to acknowledge Kinderton's emails regarding the damage they have caused and its 40p per min for me to call them so my mobile will not allow me to do this. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY ANY GOOD REVIEWS. THE BAD ONES ARE WRITTEN ON HERE FOR A REASON. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. it has been nearly 10 days and Coparts are still ignoring Kinderton's and Coparts will not take ownership of the damage, frustration and upset they have caused me. i cannot afford to get the car cleaned/valet and i believe a car wash will cause more damage/rust to the front bumper so my car is in a terrible state daily.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with, conned me out of £1344 for a van that’s supposed to run and drive? It does neither, they could not care less, what a way to run a business

This company are an absolute joke. Not only was collection cancelled by them twice, a third time they tried to cancel it but then told me they managed to get someone to collect 11th Jan 2024. Today my car wasnt collected. 8am til 5pm... 5pm car still there. No phone call, email nothing to say why. The driver collecting the vehicle has just called back at 8.30pm to say all the excuses of traffic/delays (the company clearly dont know how to pick up a phone and courtesy call) and that he will give me another call in about an hour to an hour and half to let me know an ETA to collect tonight. No chance!!!!! I wouldnt trust to even get my money at this point. Do not use this company

Avoid avoid avoid thats with all Copart sites nationwide I stuck my car on Copart auction in particular the Wolverhampton yard after seeing an add on social media thought I try them Out looking like a professional outlet thought they was but after this experience can say they are far from professional. My bad experience started from them listing my car on for the wrong price after calling them on a number of occasions and sent them proof of how much they retail at they agreed to change the price which I find ridiculous when they are quick to over price the scrap they have up for sale after they made a number of admin errors I decided it was a bad idea and decided to pick it up they charged me the £90 fee for this and when I come to picking my car up it was damaged and parts missing picked it up with management and staff at the time they jus said I had to go through a complaints processing which I been doing since may this year 2023 keep going back and forth and they trying to state the damage was already there even tho I showed them Pictures. before and after which they keep fobbing me off and not really getting anywhere got a quote from garages cost go into there 1000s as the body work needs paint and Copart not willing to take liability find it wrong and companies like this should not be allowed to carry on trading.

had a small list of small daihatsu sirion automatics to buy for my dad, car came online in lane ready to bid i was on my phone using the app , £1100 quickly jumped to what i saw as £1400 i was willing to go to £1600 so hit id three times and won at what i thought was £1530 , only to then be informed i'd won a range rover evoke convertible for £15,300 , been in touch not interested in anything you say, and now wanting 10% so they want £1530 for an issue that was clearly at their end , seeking legal advice. avoid at all costs.

This company is a total scam, I don’t know why people are still buying from them, the government should look at their day robbery. I bought two vehicle which was described as run and drive and later appears that engine was damaged. They never described cars as it is in other to scam you and when I pushed for a refund they asked me to read their T&C they ended up not refunding me my money lost £5000. Please please if you can stay away. They are absolutely disgusting scammers.

Never buy from them. Bought a smart car and received with bonnet off and taped - different from pics. Heavy oil leak and missing parts (not described) Their transport service is rubbish - you pay to get a car delivered without prior arrangements- they drop car wherever with key inside and then police rang me next day to inform me - ABSOLUTELY DISASTER - they don’t care as are protected by the regulation - STAY AWAY!

AVOID - COPART LOST MY POSESSIONS AND REFUSE TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY! My insurance sent my car to Copart to be assessed after a not-at-fault incident. When my car was returned to me, my V5C logbook was missing along with my vehicle handbook, service history and my wheel lock nut key. These items were in my vehicle when I handed it over. Additionally, my car was returned in a horrific state, mud-caked on the inside and out, registration plate taped up, graffiti and stickers on the windscreen. I have been in contact with the complaints department TWICE and have been fobbed off both times. Apparently, items "Were returned to my vehicle" (Nothing was in my vehicle when it was returned to me) and then they contradicted themselves saying "There is no evidence to suggest these items were present inside the vehicle when in Copart's care". They are not accepting any responsibility and I am now going to be out of pocket in excess of £100 as I need a new logbook and I need to go to the dealership for them to take a look at my vehicle to get a new wheel lock nut key (which is unique, the code for this is in the documents Copart have lost). Do NOT let your insurance company use Copart for ANY purpose. They do not look after your car and when they lose possessions in your car they will flat our refuse that they have anything to do with it. If you have to use Copart through your insurance, take photo's of EVERYTHING inside of your vehicle as evidence. I will be putting in a serious complaint with my insurance company and taking this as far as I can. The amount of stress, time and money this is now costing me for an incident that wasn't my fault has left me feeling angry and helpless. Disgusting customer service.
