“AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Charged my account and still haven't been able to get into contact with them!! Website is AWFUL to read and is a total rip off of money for the small amounts you recieve. The only reason people buy this is because of the influencers who get paid so much money by them!! Fing awful. Do not support this company.”

“Curology is by far the worse product for someone who has little to mild breakouts. I thought I’d try it out to help get rid of occasional breakouts but it just worsen the acne even more. I started breaking out in areas I haven’t had acne in a long time. They say, it’s normal for the skin to “purge” the impurities and should go away in a few months- which I trusted...but after 4 months of trying and my skin just worsening, I call BS! Utterly disappointed.”

“Curology made my skin break out really bad and after I stopped using it I got bumpy patches of scars that never go away. My skin is terrible, before it was like 5 pimples.”

“I did not remember signing up for an automatic renewal of my curology subscription and when they took money out of my account I was shocked waking up. I emailed their customer support at 7 in the morning asking to cancel the order. At 5 PM the order had shipped and was on its way and an email followed with a customer service representative telling me there was nothing they could do. This being my third curology order, the past two took days to ship so I believe this was intentional. What everybody says about the amount not lasting the full month is entirely true and a two-month bottle lasted me a month being frugal. Very disappointed in the ethics displayed by this company.”

Hi Breanna, So sorry to hear that you were less than satisfied. Curology is a subscription service which is why we do have you select a plan for going forward after your trial. We also require a 48 hour notice to cancel postpone a shipment (as once it starts processing, we cannot reverse it!). We also try to be very transparent about the amount in the bottles and share that amount on the outside of every product. “Not worth it! I’ve been using curology for abt 3 months now and I’ve notice there’s glass like shards in the customized cream bottle (both free trial and monthly package). They would show up after using it for 2-3 weeks and I’m pretty sure it not part of exfoliation or whatsoever. The particles are transparent and pretty sharp, they’re big enough to be felt scraping on my face.”

“I recently purchased this product. The product itself is good. But the company's business practices are dishonest. They sell their products in increments in 30-day and 60-day supplies. If you follow the usage instruction the product should last 30 or 60 days depending on which product you purchase. I used their product based on their instructions. I ran out of active product a week earlier. My cleanser and cream last only 1/3 of the time. In other words, we are buying 30 and 60 day supplies, but they are sending 3 week and 6 week supplies. On their website the advertise the early renewal of their product. When I contacted them to let them know i ran out early, they told me it was based on my usage. If my usage is in accord with their instructions I shouldn't have run out early. In other words, they sell you one thing, but send you something else to artificially increase their sales. This is wrong and may be fraud on the consumer. It is very unfortunate because the product is decent, but I cannot purchase product from a company that takes advantage of its customers.”

Hi! We do display the amount of product in all our bottles on the outside - and fill them accordingly. That said, everyone uses a different amount and might run out in various timeframes. I’m sorry to hear that yours ran out early, but we are honestly not attempting to deceive our consumers. “I've been using Curology for almost a year now and my skin has progressively gotten worse over the course of use. When I first started Curology I had an occasional acne bump every now and again but now I have horrible angry red acne all over my cheeks. Even after a formula change it did nothing. The percentages of the prescriptions just are not high enough to help my skin.”

Our cleanser is formulated to be sensitive skin safe, but each person's skin varies and what may work for one person, may not work for another. “I wanted to start using curology. However, once I created an account, sent my photos for the free trial I STILL haven’t heard from them for a whole week, no contact about my treatment plan, nothing. Now I cannot log back into my account with my email and password because it keeps saying “oops wrong email/password.” Now I cannot cancel my subscription.”

“I started it with maybe 5 regular zits and one or two cystic pustules.. when I quit using it at week 8 it had made it worse! My entire jawline & cheeks where covered, and it was all cystic and painful! I asked my provider Jamie, to change formula and her response was this is normal, keep pushing through 😳 I really don’t think so. I’ve never had cystic acne til I turned 34, and since using curology that’s all I get now!”

It is true, it can often take 2-3 months before patients begin to see results with any prescription acne treatment, including Curology. Some do see results earlier, but it differs from patient to patient. “My skin peeled for weeks, the customer care doesn't respond, the doctor assigned to u doesn't know bs. I kept uploading pictures, no response. The product is bad, not suited for Indian skins at least. My friend for the same results, doin peeled, so so so sensitive to touch, even putting moisturizer stings like anything.”

“My acne when starting this product was mild. After spending 6 months on this product my acne became severe and cystic. When reaching out to the provider and changing formulas, my skin only continued getting worse. I followed all of the instructions they gave me and still saw absolutely no positive results. When I cancelled my subscription, they still charged me for the bottle that was about to ship and would not cancel it or accept returns. You're better off going to a regular dermatologist. Save your skin and your money.”

Unfortunately, due to the prescription nature of the products, we do not accept returns once the bottles ship out. However, if you cancel up to 48 before your bottle is scheduled to ship, we will not charge your card or ship a new bottle. Hi Cassie! We send your first subscription box in time for it to arrive at the end of your trial, so there is no gap in treatment time! You can always postpone your shipment if you don't need it as soon. “I got curology as a replacement to my usual prescribed creams from my dermatologist, which weren’t doing much for my hormonal acne anymore. Curology is aimed to dry out your acne, plus the most basic and least helpful face wash and moisturizer come with it that made me break out pretty bad. Honestly curology can initially work for people who have never had a set routine and a prescribed facial cream, but as someone who has used creams and stuck to a routine for a decade, this stuff was just a cheaper quality alternative to my usual products and it was detrimental to my skin. After I stopped using curology I met with a skin esthetician that recommended all natural washes and serums for my skin that was aimed to repair it, not dry it out. My skin has never been better!! Seriously, if you are using curology and have already worked with dermatologists and prescriptions in the past, this isn’t anything new and it’s not going to fix your skin. Do yourself a favor and look into high end skincare washes and serums that have gentle acids, lipids, and vitamin C. And wear a good sunscreen everyday, that alone will do more good than these products.”

“I made it clear that I had very sensitive skin. They should be telling you to test an inconspicuous spot on your arm BEFORE ruining your entire face. I had a major reaction, but it was only confirmed because they said to do a test patch AFTER my skin was ruined. I’m 2 months out, and my skin is broken out and inflamed 100 times worse than it was before I started. There’s no way to know which ingredient it was because they create a formula fang addressed everything at once, which I think is bad practice. If you value your skin, see a dermatologist in person.”

“I used this product everyday for 4 months and listened to whatever my consultant told me but still my skin only got worse. I have stopped using curology and my skin honestly went back to normal, all I wanted to do was be able to say that curology really helped my skin but it did the exact opposite. Maybe if your acne is not bad to begin with this is a good product, but If you are already snuggling with consistent breakouts, just go to a dermatologist and don't waste your time on this.”
