Awful customer service. Bad quality Take me a month to have a replacement system and even the replacement system has issues. Don't waste your time with Dell Support, they are just useless. Don't buy any products from that company.

I purchased refurbished laptop from Dell Latitude 5490. When I start to add my details and connect to the internet. Few minutes later, it switched it self off. When I restarted it again, the screen showed, your "Device needs to be repaired, files either corrupted or missing". Next day, I contacted Dell team, technical staff, retail team. I made 9 long phone calls and send 27 emails over 6 weeks trying to fix the problem. However, I never receive any constructive advice except very trivial naïve advice sent by e-mail such as press F11 key!!!. At the end I spoke to customer service and got told this laptop is 5 years old and no history of refurbishment. I feel extremely annoyed and realized what is Dell and Dell team like. I paid £321.60 for 15 minutes Dell laptop. I sincerely hope one of the managerial team see this and allow me to either to replace, or return or the least to repair. It is experience indeed. Thanks Dell I concluded that, the refurbished laptop I purchased (£321.60)from Dell has no value at all and Dell team skills is not up to standard. It was waste of money, effort and time.

Just got electrocuted by negligently made laptop charger by Dell. Pulled out cord but adapter broke. Bare metal contacts exposed and I touched accidentally and got a DC mains shock which tripped a fuse and lights went out. Reporting to HSE and trading standards. And taking legal action against Dell. Negligently poorly made dangerous products.

No spares for warranty items. Do not buy from Dell this Black Friday or any other time, they have no spares for faulty products. I purchased a laptop last November, the screen was damaged in February, 10 months later I am told after repeated contacts that a replacement will be months before they have a part. Avoid all at all cost.

had the worst experience buying the DELL product (New 30 Rotation LAPTOP) on the recommendation. It was a faulty technology. The Rotation 360 angle doesn't work properly. You turn around, and when you bring it back close the flip. It doesn't come back balanced from both sides and the screen cracked. It's a manufacturing fault and they are in DENIAL with the claim that their technology can not be wrong. Maybe tomorrow the DELL may CLAIM as GOD (Can never be wrong) Dell's after-sales are the worst customer service. Rather than taking responsibility, they put the blame on the customer and then in a way start giving you notices with the Solution of PAID repairing (With deadlines), felt like Putting customers on NOTICE. Completely non-professional behaviour of DELL staff on behalf of DELL. Hope that won't be the policies of DELL. NEVER BUY DELL PRODUCTS (Won't recommend) They ripping off people. Money does not grow on TREES. SHAME

By carrying Great Accessories! MY REVIEW: Alurateks 4KHD Webcam 5x Digital Zoom & Dual Stereo Noise Cancelling Mics. – Purchased through Dell accessories I love this Camera!!! I give it 5 stars!!! I had initially purchased another webcam but it was not compatible with my new OS unit –so I used it on my old unit. But THIS camera…OMG it is so cool. You can see the HD difference with the click of a button and it has its own “camera shield” for privacy, mounts super easy and stable on the monitor with all kinds of angles available. It can also be used on my light ring easel and other easels…and it also has a wonderful noise cancelling microphone that really cancelled my background landscaper noise! Wow!!! I am so happy I bought this Aluratek Camera and highly recommend it.

For two days, I have tried to purchase an Alienware laptop, and a Netgear router for my daughter as a reward she earned. I have not been lied to misled and disrespected as much as I was by Dowell in the past 12 hours of dealing with them. They charged my Visa debit card for $2756.04, and then they charged my MasterCard for $2756.04. They deny that they charged my debit card even though I bank official phone them provided them with the transaction number provided them with a picture of the fee. But because she wanted an Alienware I persisted and did order one with the full knowledge that it had to be here before the 21st, I was promised confirmed that it would be. A few hours later I got a sheep’s phone call from one of the attendance telling me he had sent me the confirmation. I asked if it was the same confirmation that he had given me for hours earlier, and all I got was a bunch of mumbling . When I checked the latest confirmation, they had switched the delivery date from the 21st to the 24th and try to sneak it by me. I cannot believe that dell and Alienware has deteriorated to such deplorable treatment of customers and they need to steal their money so anyone reading this please take heed . This is not the company that Michael Dell built it on.

Dell Inspiron 7559 5 Y/O laptop has broken motherboard lockdown - I contacted Dell and sent laptop in for repair - 4 weeks later I received a call from support stating the part is no longer manufactured and is out of stock. 5 weeks later. I received the laptop back - minus the battery. I realize the battery can become swollen and may not be shipped that way. Horrible customer service experience - I will never buy anything Dell!

Le produite est re-disponible sur le site 1 semaine après ma commande et en statut "Livraison demain" mais ma commande est toujours en production. Service client n'est pas très utile. This company customer service is sending to people fraud/scam emails. I brought a computer and my son did not want it because it does not had a card so i decide to returned. they told me to wait around 30 days to get the return money back. I have almost 3 months and I still not get my money back instead I got scam/fraud emails saying that my money was deposited in my bank account which was not true so, I was keep calling the customer service and I still getting messages with fake recipes saying that the amount of money was deposited in my account. amount of money that was not even the amount of the computer I brought. I talk with around 5 different people of customer service, and all of them sending emails saying that the problem was resulted but not. I still waiting for my money return into my bank account and my child almost finish his school without computer. really how can a good company send fraud/scam emails to their clients. I do have proof of all the mails, people of customer service who sent those recipe. I do not recommending anymore this company to anyone instead be aware because their are people who can still you information and do bad things to you like they did with me when they send fake recipe of computers that I never brought or those scam/fraud emails saying that they returned the money when is not true.

I purchased a laptop from Best Buy. I had the laptop less than a yr. When I go to use the laptop and it won't load. I called Dell... after transferring me about 3x, finally someone willing to help. We tried all troubleshooting methods but nothing worked. At this time I was asked to send laptop in for repair of software. I was asked if the laptop was dropped or broken. I responded No! So I proceeded to FedEx and sent the laptop back. After, a month or so and not hearing from them I called in to check the status of my laptop. At this time after being transferred 4x I get a rep explaining my laptop was lost. I provided FedEx information and who signed for my laptop. I had to make this call several times repeating myself several over the course of 7 months. At that point I was sent a replacement by the 8 month of this on going issue. Now, after having the Replacement for less than 3 months barely using it because I opted to by another laptop while mine was lost. The laptop doesn't open the screen frame is popping from the backing making it unable to open. Once more I've been transferred about 10x and no real resolution. Besides being told I will need to pay for repairs because it's out of warranty now. I will never buy another Dell. Customer Service is the worst and no real solution without constant calling and several transfers.

I ordered an alienware mouse for my son at Christmas . Dell delayed the shipping and eventually said it’s no longer available ,but they have not refunded me yet. I talked to all the support agents explaining that I wanted a refund before purchasing another one and they said the refund would be released ,but it has now been 3 months since original purchase and still nothing . This company has terrible customer support as well as ethics ! Never will order from them again!

I've been an enterprise customer of Dell's for over 15 years and an IT professional for over 20 years. While I'll continue plying my trade in technology, I will never work with Dell again, and I'll be steering my clients to other technology providers. If you're short on time and shorter on patience, the bottom line is this: no matter how much you spend with Dell, their service and warranties are absolutely worthless. Moreover, if you rely on Dell equipment for your job, company, or livelihood, you're playing with fire. Because when that equipment fails, Dell will focus on their bottom line rather than show integrity by supporting their paying customers. I spent nearly $3,500 on a high-end workstation and almost an additional $600 on Dell's elite, premium, Next-Business Day warranty... And when my workstation (which was less than a year old) broke, rather than repair it in a timely fashion, Dell gave me excuses and then took more than two weeks. I had to spend $2,500 to purchase a completely new machine from Apple to get back up and running and lost an entire week's worth of productivity along the way. The total loss in revenue was over $11,000. When I attempted to hold Dell's feet to the fire about their Next-Business Day "warranty" the first thing out of the Dell rep's mouth was a quote from the fine print saying effectively that: "we don't have to honor the warranty due to parts availability." That's cute. Even more interesting is that I could track the part, and it had to be shipped from overseas. The part in question was simply an incredibly basic fan pump component. The fact that Dell is happy to sell a $600 warranty and then not stock even essential repair components is obscene. AND the fact that they are shipping critical repair parts from overseas means: they don't care about enterprise customers, regular customers, or their level of service. I know, I know, this sounds like the ranting of a crazy man. I totally get it. So I went ahead and attached a couple of pictures. My advice to anyone who reads this: Cancel your Dell contracts. Never buy their equipment. Absolutely do not waste your money on their warranties. There are tons of system-builders out there who can outperform Dell. Try one of them and save yourself a lot of lost income, frustration, and prevent a few migraines along the way.

Very bad customer support. shipped out the package on 1/27 to Fedex and it is not an express. Due to the snow storm, the package was not updated with the status, DELL always said it is delivered. Transferred me here and there and no one answer my question. Cannot get update from Fedex because it is a ground delivery. Not allowing me to cancel the order because it is shipped. Finally the package arrived NJ and it said the delivery date was 2/8, then it is not delivered. on 2/9 I received the notification from Fedex that DELL has recalled the package and Fedex is returning the package to the shipper. DELL does not know why and I have been waiting since 1/28 , no laptop to use, no cancellation, no refund, no status, no update. no one follow up. none. And now nothing I can do and to order the laptop from another vendor. I will never purchase DELL again.

Rubbish. Estimated delivery date for my order was 5th Oct, I contacted them on 4th Oct because the status of the order was not even in production. On 5th Oct they replied sorry, the order will be delayed and i will now get the monitor around 2nd Nov. What a stupid respond. I needed to find this out by myself? I gave you my money to get the monitor on 5th and you took the money and said nothing knowing you would only be able to send to the monitor to me on 2nd Nov? Basically this people took my money to use for investments with no interest. The revised ship and delivery dates, by the way, were not there til 5th Oct after I contacted them on 4th Oct.

I purchased a Dell Precision 7750 Laptop on the Dell.com Website on June 6, 2020. The computer arrived on June 26, 2020. The computer in question worked fine until Dell released a BIOS update that throttled the CPU down to 0.8 Ghz. I contacted Dell Pro Support about this and they instructed me to restore an older BIOS to correct the problem. I did as instructed (dell support walked me through the process) this appeared to fix the problem until I booted the system the next day, it then went into a loop of upgrading and downgrading the BIOS. Dell sent service techs. To repair the system but it was too no avail. The Pro Support department determined a replacement system was required. The order for the system was placed on Aug 8, 2021 went into production on Aug 20, 2021 and shipped on Aug 27, 2021, I have still not received the system it is Sept 30, 2021. I was informed yesterday I was told by the rep was going to file for a replacement system. This would be ridiculous as one has already been filed for and approved and built and have to wait another 2 to 3 months for the system.

The worse buy i could ever do is an Alienware, I thought it could be a good change but my MSI, that has almost 5 years is faster than this piece of joke call Alienware, it is a nightmare to have it. It takes 35 minutes to turn on, 35 MINUTES!!! AND ANOTHER 20 MINUTES till all the programs start. It was supposed to be a good buy for my graphic design projects but all I have is an expensive piece of nothing. I have call many times to customer service and for them the only solution is to pay 500 dollars so it can match with something regarding to Windows, why I was not tell about it, i asked, i consult to their sales department but I guess they only care about selling because, we the customers, have a plant where we get money to fix their incapacity to sell a good product. I wan very very very disappointed, the worse buy ever. If you are thinking about it THINK TWICE AND READ THE COMMENTS. Save your money but most of all buy something that can help you with your projects not something to be beging to star and pray for it not to restart. WORSE BUY EVER. Expensive and useless.

This company is fraudulent, simple as that The products prices are changing randomly, switching Excl. VAT or Incl. VAT (see attached screenshots). Then, when you complaint about the price difference, the 'customer service' Indian call centre will always see that Excl. VAT 20% higher price. You cannot cancel the order. You cannot use your 14-days online cooling period even after 5 minutes after order.

Have a Dell Notebook 7300 2 in 1 notebook computer that is still under 'warranty'. The screen, after being left alone for a few hours has horizontal lines running from top to bottom of the screen with the top 30% flickering. I called their 'customer support' and after talking to 2 different reps, get tied into running diagnostics and being asked if the problem is still there. After telling them 3 times that the issue is horizontal lines in the display, they ask, is it vertical or horizontal lines that you see? Nothing is resolved, they have my contact info, 'in case we get disconnected' - the disconnect, then never call back. DO NOT BUY DELL products unless you buy knowing they are disposable.

I use my computer until it isn't really able to keep up and then the new one I purchase is set up so it has as much current technology as I can afford to keep it running for a long time. Generally I can get ten years or so out of one. The last one was a Lenovo, and after they were able to get the printer consistently working (it took about a year) it ran fine. It still runs fine now, but since it has Win 7 I cannot use it on the internet due to support ending so this time I went with a Dell XP8930 desktop. All decked out it was just under $3,000 and should have lasted a very long time, but right away it would freeze up, crash, and then mess up the boot drive. Using my smart phone to get online I figured out how to get the boot order corrected. Tech service was very polite, but was not able to fix the problem. Then one day I was in front of the computer when it happened, turns out that their bloatware called SupportAssist was causing the problem during it's scan. Twice now tech support has "disabled" that program but it continues to do this. They tell me it cannot be uninstalled so now I am to wipe the computer back to factory settings and then have to replace everything (data is backed up online, but it takes days to download it back plus reinstalling everything else that has been added in the 1-1/2 years I have had it). And since the computer did this from day one, there is no guarantee that it still won't do it after the reset. I have way too many hours wasted on the phone with tech support as they fumbled around trying to run into the problem. The tech support people were very polite, but the bottom line is that so far the computer has not been fixed. Sure am glad I got the extended warranty. Run away from this manufacturer as fast as you can. If I could afford to throw this away I would do so in a heartbeat.

Purchased a laptop last year. Screen was scored internally. Called Dell. They replaced the laptop within 14 days. Had no issues thereafter. Purchased another laptop directly from dell inspiron-13 in December 2020. Have barely used the laptop Ongoing issues with blue screen error. Technical has wasted my time for over a month. They take my laptop for repairs 14 days without a laptop or replacement. Finally replace the motherboard and I then have issues with touch cursor pad. They sent out a engineer to repair on site. Asked if the repair has been successful and the engineer replied yes. 2 minutes later once he's left i noticed touch pad working but unable to click on icons so touch pad faulty. Backing case of my laptop is not fully secured. Can visually see casing clip broken. So casing not completely sealed. Where theres a gap I can see wires positioned incorrectly and have been squashed. Insulated part of the wire is damaged and copper is exposed. And I can see dust and metal particles within the laptop. Once again brand new laptop. Barely used due to ongoing issues. And all dell can do is apologise for the inconvenience. Not been able to use my laptop for 3 months due to issues and they cannot offer me extended warranty as a gesture of goodwill even though I'm concerned weather my laptop will even last over a year especially after seeing such poor repairs and ongoing issues which are still not resolved. I was previously advising people to buy dell but now purchasing 2 laptops within the space of 1 year I can definetly say that there laptops do not have quality checks carried out before there sent out to the end consumer. Absolutely dissatisfied and dissapointed

received my what was supposed to be a brand new m17 r4, a 4 grand laptop received scratched, and there is a dent in the inner exhaust vent I contacted the support and first they offered me a repair!! they offered to replace the scratched parts but indeed I refused, so they offered a replacement. What bothered me the most is telling me this happened because of a shipping problem so they put the blame on the carrier, this really drove me nuts! shipping will not cause inner metal vent dent without touching the outer plastic chassis, also will not cause these 0.5-1mm tiny scratch I asked to escalate to a supervisor, they assured me that this is a brand new one not refurbished but could be a manufacturing defect due to which it was delivered with scratches and dents. I do not understand how something like this can happen with a 4k$ laptop, where is dell quality control?! They are supposed to send a replacement in 2 weeks Moreover, I do not understand how DELL even ship laptops without requiring signature as a proof of delivery. I found my 4k$ laptop left by front door, how ridiculous!! Noticed that the price dropped on my laptop, spent hours on CS chatting and speaking, explaining that I am just asking to apply dell's price guarantee policy: https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/price-match-guarantee/cp/price-match-guarantee One CS agent told me return the old product, cancel the replacement, and order a new one, how funny! After long time spent with different agents, finally they submitted a request to get a credit for the price difference and promised to get a confirmation within 24 hours, guess what, no confirmation received chatted today with another agent for like an hour and he promised to submit another request. I wonder how dell hire their CS agents?, did you ever teach them that they CANNOT break their promises to customers. Do you really care about your customers?!! DELL CS guys are not well trained. I bet DELL hires low cost agents just to reduce cost. They do not care about their customer satisfaction by any mean. Am I paying 4000$ to get a defective product then wasting my time with CS??? The funny thing, when the line disconnects or when there is a distortion in the call they tell you we are working from home, funny!!!! this is not my problem, if you work from home make sure your infrastructure allow this!!!! Thank you DELL for the poorest experience in my life

Who the **** really owns Dell? Obviously, it is not a US based company. I have called customer support 3 times about my order and I have yet to talk to an American!! Every time I'm talking to someone in India. Why?!! I ordered a monitor with a delivery date for next week. The following day I get a email that my order's being delayed by a MONTH. HOWEVER, when I bring up the product page, it still says that I should get it next week. The Indians could not answer why MY order was being delayed by an entire month! Again, who the **** owns Dell?!

I am writing to you out sheer and total frustration. I have a new (45 days old) Dell Inspiron laptop. Inspiron 7300 2n1, Service Tag GDFN***, Express service code: 35640852***. I paid $693.00 for it last month. I just spent THREE DAYS, several hours each call/chat, with Dell techs trying to repair my computer. I’m sure you can access those records but, in a nutshell, my new laptop is worthless and three different techs spending hours with me missing my job to assist, have been unable to fix the problem. I have requested but not received escalation to Level Two. What I want at this point is one of two things: Dell can send me a NEW computer (not refurbished or used) or Dell can refund the purchase price. Those are the only two options I will accept. I will wait seven days for your response, and am prepared to take every action I can starting with a complaint to the BBB, posting reviews, and even small claims court if I have to. I have been patient and allowed Dell three opportunities to repair this issue while I missed time off work to assist the techs in diagnosing and trying to repair my Inspiron which has been unusable for four days. My old Toshiba Chromebook worked perfectly and I wish I had never bought this Dell.

If there were a poster child for horrible customer service, it would be Dell. I didn't think any customer support could be worse than United Airlines, but Dell managed to surpass even United. My Dell computer became so slow over time that it was almost useless. I contacted Dell customer support, described the symptoms and was told they could fix it for $99. They said I wouldn't even have the send the machine out for repair. They would fix it using a remote connection. I figured it was worth the investment since I couldn't buy a new computer for $99, and they guaranteed it. If they couldn't fix it, I would get my money back. It took a week, and at least three sessions with technicians working on the machine for several hours, and several broken promises to contact me within a certain time range to begin these sessions, and a full reset that required my reinstalling all software and moving all content to my Google Drive ... but at the end of all that, my computer was ... as slow as ever. True to their word, the technical said my $99 would be refunded. When I received my credit card statement nearly a month later, I noticed the charge for the $99 was there from Dell but no refund. Thus began another ordeal during which I called Dell (all support personnel sounded like they were in India), waited on hold for 50 minutes. I was then told that I would need to talk to the Tech Support team, not the Customer Care team, which I'd called. This seemed very odd. So I was transferred to Tech Support and after a much shorter wait, the call was answered and I was told that, in fact, I needed to talk to Customer Care. The Tech Support person did not understand why Customer Care had transferred me to Tech Support. She promised to transfer me to a supervisor. After another long wait, I ended up back in -- you guessed it -- Customer Care. The agent asked me to hold for a minute or two while he checked "the notes," and after another few minutes on hold the call was disconnected. No one called back, even though they had my phone number. This was the start of Day 1 of three days of waiting on hold and getting the runaround from phone agents and chat personnel. A supervisor in Customer Care sent me back to Tech Support. Again, Tech Support (a chat agent this time) said I needed to call Customer Care, so I made him stay on the line while I called Customer Care. We waited together an hour and a half on hold until my call was finally answered. I sighed with relief. The voice that answered said the department was now closed. Please call back tomorrow. I persisted and finally got the refund by the end of the week, but I promised I would take appropriate action against Dell for probably the worst customer service experience of my life. This post is part of that appropriate action. I hope I have convinced you to never buy a Dell. Whatever you might think you are saving on the machine, it isn't worth having to deal with the worst customer service operation on earth.

I bought a Dell Inspiron directly from Dell.com in 2018, which is about two years old now. The laptop has been very slow ever since I bought it. I never returned it even though I never loved it, because it was our secondary machine. I hardly ever use, but now, it won't charge, and the warranty has expired. Dell wants $39 just to diagnose the problem, plus whatever it costs to fix it. Who knows what they'll charge for that. It could literally be any amount. The customer no-service rep lacked empathy and did nothing to help me. This is the first and last Dell I'll ever own, and I suggest that you never have a first Dell.

I regret the day i placed the order for Dell inspiron on 24th july 2020 from dell official site. I took 2 days for financial approval. The expected delivery was 8 days after placing order. Then after a week, dell postponed my order. I tried reaching them on customer care number and it goes on waiting for 30 to 45 minutes and disconnects. I raised service request and no reply. Week after week they kept on postponing my order. I raised 3 service requests and no reply. Luckily i spoke once after 2 weeks delay and they said parts shortage. Why the hell DELL then accepted order and approved finance ?? Finally on 24th August 2020 (after 4 delays and 6 service requests ) i was lucky to speak dell customer care and canceled the order. They agreed to refund 100% Now I am waiting for cancellation and refund status and yet no update. Genuinely in this fast paced world, how much time is required to simply cancel the order and refund ?? Also at least the order which was still in only initial confirmed state. WORST customer care !! every time the call goes on waiting for 45 minutes, if u r lucky you will be able to speak, they don’t reply on mail, they don’t take any action on service requests. After paying approx 70k i was behind DELL all the time for updates, waiting 30+ mins on every call, raising service requests and finally waiting for refund. I GENUINELY suggest everyone to go for Amazon, flipkart etc at least they are serious for delivery, updates, cancellation and refund. NEVER EVER BUY LAPTOP FROM DELL OFFICIAL SITE.
