"My friend and I recently completed the Kilimanjaro Machame - 8 Day package with AdventureHero at the end of February, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The dramatic change in scenery, from lush rainforests to the stark beauty of the volcanic summit, left us breathless (both literally and figuratively!).\r\n\r\nA major factor in choosing AdventureHero was their local roots and level of experience. The entire team, from the very beginning, impressed us with their dedication and personal touch. Raine, our initial contact overseas, patiently answered all our questions, no matter how trivial, from both Hong Kong and Canada. Noela, our on-the-ground contact in Tanzania, ensured everything ran smoothly throughout the trip. The equipment provided to us were high quality (e.g. the sleeping bags were extremely warm and appropriate for up to -20 degrees) - and if something was not up to par, it was replaced. \r\n\r\nOur exceptional rockstar guide, Simon, had over 10 years of Kilimanjaro experience under his belt. His calm demeanor and in-depth knowledge inspired confidence within our group, from day 1 he set a pole-pole pace that ensured we would acclimate. The porters were also an invaluable asset on our climb - They traversed the steep inclines with impressive agility, and always with a smile. Meanwhile, the cooks were culinary wizards, transforming basic ingredients into delicious and nutritious meals that fueled our bodies throughout the challenging journey. \r\n\r\nAdventureHero's commitment to service truly shined when my luggage, containing all my essential gear, didn't arrive on time. The prospect of starting the climb the next day without proper equipment, facing potentially dangerous conditions on a high-altitude mountain, was terrifying. Noela and her team reassured me, and made the impossible happen. I started on the trek with some rented gear, and when my luggage arrived; Noela and the team arranged to have a porter (Deo) deliver my gear all the way to Shira Camp by Day 2! (For reference that's over 2000m of altitude in the same day! It's like climbing Mt Fuji up and down with 30lbs) He even thoughtfully carried back down anything I didn't need \u2013 a lifesaver, especially as I did battle some altitude sickness later on. This wasn't the only instance where the crew went the extra mile. They were constantly attentive to our needs, helping us adjust our tents in the wind, offering encouraging words during tough stretches, and helping carry my day pack when I was feeling particularly ill.\r\n\r\nSummit night, in particular, demanded everything we had, but ultimately became one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. Special recognition goes to Simon and Joram, who accompanied me on the grueling summit push. Their attentiveness to my health during the climb was incredible, checking constantly to make sure it was still safe to continue. When exhaustion nearly stopped me in my tracks near the top, they practically carried me to the summit with their unwavering encouragement. \r\n\r\nBeyond the amazing service, the food was fantastic. I still dream about all the hearty soups, and the chef's magical ginger tea became my go-to remedy for altitude headaches!\r\n\r\nA heartfelt thank you to everyone at AdventureHero! You made this dream climb a reality. Your dedication to exceptional service, combined with your deep connection to the mountain, made all the difference. We were also impressed to learn that AdventureHero is actively working towards KPAP certification ( Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Program), demonstrating their commitment to ethical treatment of their porters. I highly recommend AdventureHero to anyone considering a Kilimanjaro adventure. You won't be disappointed!"

"Hi!\r\n\r\nI strongly recommend the Adventure Hero agency for those who want to go to Everest Base Camp (EBC). From the first contact, they were super attentive to me.\r\n\r\nMy first contact was with Raine and she was always willing to answer all my questions, and there were so many questions!!\r\n\r\nAlways available, and at any time of the day, she always reassured me and answered all my questions.\r\n\r\nDuring the trekking to the EBC, I had a guide named Jang Rai who helped me in all aspects of the trekking, from passing on information about the place, people, and local culture and always making sure of my physical condition due to the altitude.\r\n\r\nI just have to thank everyone on the team!\r\n\r\nIf you want to do difficult trekking, but with peace of mind that everything will work out and you will have all the necessary support, please contact them!"
"Our EBC Trip was 26th February 2023. I would highly recommend anyone planning a trip to EBC, to seriously consider Adventure Hero. From start to finish their planning, service and guiding was outstanding. A special mention to Raine who answered all our Travel and Trek questions (there was a lot) prior to our trip, preparing us for the journey and the Trek. We opted for the luxury package and these far exceeding our expectations (Electric blanket WoW) We had an excellent guide called Prakash who basically managed everything from our food at the Mountain Homes and Tea Houses to our accommodation on route. Prakash spoke excellent English and pointed out all the significant sights on route with his extensive knowledge clearly enhanced by him being a local from Phakding. Each night Prakash gave us a summary of how the day went and then explained the next days route advising on the distance, altitude, difficulty, clothing, water requirement and potential weather. Prakash on occasion guided from the front and on other occasions guided from the rear which left us to control the pace to our ability. Prakash was a true gentlemen and now a family friend who we are are still in touch with receiving constant pictures and updates of the route. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are already planning our next adventure. For anyone contemplating EBC I wish you all the luck on your adventure. "
