“UPDATE: the product continues to work great but their service and warranty is all talk and no action. The horn button on my very, very expensive dockmate has failed. They said they think it's a fuse. However, they want me to find it and change it. If they send a service person and it is a fuse, they will charge me. No word on how much. I expected much better. I have sent this company several referrals and I regret that decision. If that is their normal practice I don't expect them to be around very long. Very disappointed 😞”
“The response between operation and response is slow. I find the set up way too aggressive. Many users I have spoken to get confused when stern to as you need to turn the unit round and in wind and tide you simply don’t have time.”

“I have a extremely fuel efficient 40 foot trawler, however with a single underpowered screw, wide beam and huge windage with fly bridge, she was impossible to control in the marina. Every dock job was a huge challenge and sometimes required several people to pull me into a slip. Dockmate has completely changed all that. I was able to dock the boat stern in to be rafted to another boat in a very narrow channel in a completely overbooked marina and with wind pushing me away from the raft with no help whatsoever.
