Unfortunately I can leave a nil star review. Where to start ordered loads of stuff from Dorothy Perkins from March through to end of April. Initially the returns and refunds process was ok. Then Boohoo took over and since then I have persistently emailed, DM on FB…… to get refunds. My last resort to get resolver involved. I have copied and pasted a messagei received last night I. Response to several emails. One email gave me a promise the items worn £56 had been refunded and would be in my account on 6/5 of course it didn’t appear. So I have opened another Resolver case because I was getting emails telling me I’d have to wait until 23/5 for Do to investigate despite the fact I send the returns documents every time. But it was this reply which has angered me so much because I am a pensioner on a limited income and this billionaire company dosent care I’ve been forced to borrow money to feed my animals……. Because DP have taken an exorbitantly long time to resolve any issues so here is the reply: Due to the takeover and us having the new systems etc, the refund will work a little differently on this occasion. I can offer a refund 1 of 3 ways listed below: -If you’d like to receive a voucher credit, rounded up to the next £5 you’ll be able to use that to shop with us again on site straight away. -Alternatively, we have the option to refund you via your PayPal account. If you’re happy for us to refund via PayPal, please provide us with your PayPal email address and we’ll get that requested with Finance. -If you’re unable to accept your refund via PayPal, please come back to us with your *bic/iban/account/sort code* info and we’ll pass that over to our finance team to be processed. Please note that this option may mean your refund takes longer than usual. Account refunds are usually processed within 10 working days plus 3-5 working days depending on your bank Megan Dorothy Perkins Customer Services ****************************** So I reply saying no voucher cos I will never buy again , yes I’d do PayPal if DP would pay the fees …….. but you can see I am being blackmailed into accepting terms and conditions which must go against Trading Standards. My advice to all is don’t use this Micky Mouse company who take your money and then refuse to refund. Buy from a reputable retailer one who will care about your repeat business. My mission is to tell as many people as possible about my treatment at the hands of this business …. Cos how would you feel it it was your Mum, Gran, Sister, Aunt being treated so disgracefully. Refund. Returned two orders and proof of postage and delivery to DP and still no refund, I have sent several emails and a couple of replies but only to ask the same question which I had already replied to and sent relevant information . It is totally unacceptable and I see there are lots of your customers waiting for refunds and which we are getting totally ignored. I realised Dp has been taken over by Boohoo but this should not stop people’s rights to receive a refund, as stated on web sites

I used to shop online with DP quite often, however, the whole experience has nose dived since DP has been taken over by Boohoo. Waited two weeks to receive the items as standard, no dispatch note in the package so returns near impossible (when checked out as guest) as you have to make contact with them. Messages/emails take 2/3 days to respond to so difficult to get a refund when you only have 14 days to return. A lot of responses seem standardised like customer service is not reading the content of the message. If I was cynical, I would say it’s made this difficult and frustrating so you keep the items not wanted. I won’t be using DP again. I daren’t!

Their updated website is a disappointment, and not as good and appealing when compared to the previous better version (website, functionality and design, amazing deals, prices and product variations) of the website. Very upset as will have to find a new clothing retailer and a new favorite now...

Disgusting customer service, returned an item in March, no acknowledgement of return even though Hermes state item is with the retailer. I've sent 3 emails with no reply to them either. Will never order online with Dorothy Perkins again.

Ordered a dress for £4.50 with free delivery on the 17th march estimated delivery 31st march. Dress arrived this morning 25th well packaged beautiful dress for the money. Shopped with dp for years never a problem

Ordered 3 jumpers size 16 as this is what I've always ordered. They are like tents! No shape at all and very thin. Since Boohoo have taken over the quality has become shocking. I'm tall so rely on DP tall range for my clothing. I shopped directly with Boohoo once and never again. Same bad quality.

I was ordered 3 items and received only two. Dorothy perkins charged for me 3 items and send only two very bad experience no help line working and no emails working.i was trying to contact with dorothy perkins but I was failed

Returned a pair of boots value of£40 2 weeks ago I used clearpay so I have to still pay for the boots even though they have been returned first time ordering a will be my last the reviews for dp are shocking and rightly so

Truly appalling! I still have not received my refund for an item that was returned well over a month ago. I've contacted customer service multiple times with no solution. Their cs team is useless. I also can no longer use my gift card either. Stay away from this company!

This is the first time I have shopped at dp and I now know I will be a loyal customer! I got ankle boots and I love them! Excellent quality, excellent design and amazing price! They are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn I would recommend it to everyone! If you are wondering about the quality or not sure if you should buy from dp have no doubts! ;)

I got a jumpsuit with securing clip! I sent jumpsuit back,I had to pay for the shipment back,I should get a full refund,I did not get. very bad customer service!!!

I had a bad experience with their online refunds. Hermes are great at picking up. However I am waiting for over 3 weeks on my monies. I emailed them several times on customer support and they are not responding. What do I do? Its really stressful

Been a loyal DP customer for decades with no issues but I have just received an email after 3 weeks of chasing a refund to say the items weren’t “returned in a suitable condition.” What a load of.... I didn’t even try on one pair of jeggings as the quality was so poor on the first pair. Packaged up and sent straight back. Hermes says “on way back to retailer”. Will just continue to bombard them on SD till they refund or show me evidence of how unopened jeggings can be deemed to be in an unsuitable condition. Tamping!!

I am still waiting for my order from first lockdown Apparently it was for. I didn't sign. Tried conta6 Hermes who had no order number. We t to DP when reopened. Not their problem. I now want to return a parcel. Tool ages as had to get frie7 to download returns label. I had no printer. Saw the delivery man Sunday and he wouldn't take it because it r Sunday. Parcel still here. I will never ever again order from them again

So... it looks like I'm just one of many who have returned items and haven't received a refund . I sent my return on the 22 December via Hermes ( who are also shocking ..they have lost 2 other of my returns and one order from other companies) . Hermes have not updated tracking and seem to have lost my return . I won't be ordering from sites who use Hermes again either . I've emailed Dorothy Perkins 4 times and no further with my refund . You can't contact by phone either ..just email . Some companies use covid as an excuse for poor customer service ...looks like DP is one of them.

Very disappointed. I am still waiting on a refund for items returned on 4th December. Customer service is shocking, I have emailed and called numerous times with no luck.

The worst customer service imaginable! The shop delivers the wrong goods, but is not willing to pay the shipping costs for the return, even though it says so in the terms and conditions. Instead, despite repeated inquiries, no response will be given until the return period has expired. The "customer service" does not take care of it, sometimes one person writes this, then another that, as they like it. NEVER AGAIN!
